What people don't understand about Le Rational Skeptics (and their audience) is that Teal Deer was totally right when he said they care about pwnage, low hanging fruit, and their bizarre moral precepts than actual intellectual rigor.
 
To put it more bluntly, these people are arrogant and uncharitable.
 
The arrogance is clear even from their name. Despite everyone on the planet believing themselves to be rational and skeptical they lay claim to it. Despite their lack of skepticism towards their own vision of deracinated classical liberalism.
 
Sargon himself even likened hinself to Socrates, going around and questioning every other ideological group and finding then all wanting. Which says it all really, every other group fails to measure up to his brand of deracinated classical liberalism so they're wrong (that being his position 9/10 times really).
 
It also belies their lack of charity. For this look no further than The Alternative Hypothesis. Or Heinrich Memeler. The former has made responses to Sargon, Vernaculis, and Jeff Holiday. Not one of them has responded (and they do know, Sargon'a had it linked to him during twitter spats, Vern commented, Holiday made a lame excuse). Memeler responded to Kraut's pretentious "culture is not my cause" video about how Swiss democracy is a model for the world and how we don't need any greater society, we just need freedummmm. No response.
 
If you're noticing a pattern then good. Anything which seriously challenges liberalism as the end all and be all of society isnt taken seriously.
 
And this is perpetuated becase their audience views them as gatekeepers, so only what they expose them to is what the audience knows about.
 
And that is it.
