4chan and the AltRight are not the same, however there is considerable overlap so it seems silly to drive wedges as if we aren't compatible in many respects (though disagreements about belief and style will happen)   1. the AltRight is clearly very influenced by 4chan in its shitposty/meme-driven culture. And since many instinctively go to /pol/ during happenings it would seem that many of the rank and file are from /pol/   2. /pol/ and the altright have similar racialist beliefs, including but not limited to white nationalism and suspicion of Jewish influence. In fact, most of the disagreements between the two factions I have seen are born of disagreement on these matters but due to perceived errors in tactics, style, or ancillary issues.   3. The Altright uses many /pol/ memes as esoteric kekism shows. But /pol/ uses many altright memes. From Helicopter Rides to cuck(servative) to the (((echoes))). Both originated on therightstuff's Daily Shoah. http://i.imgur.com/W8QDYaN.png   Really the basis for these memes and the templates are shared but original uses for them are created this way by both camps   4. While there are some on /pol/ who dislike the irl namefagging and feel like the altright is cribbing /pol/'s ideas I posit that this is erroneous. AltRight thought leaders did not originate on /pol/ by and large but rather from the communities and content which informed /pol/. 4chan was not always a hotbed for white nationalism, and quite frankly those ideas did not originate on /pol/ but rather from stormfront, takismag, amren, vdare, etc.   5. We kinda need to win. So teaming up and cooperating (while retaining independence) is wise. CTR and other shills would love to divide us.   In summation, we should hang together or we will all hang separately
