You still receive any negative effects from the spell including damage. Some more powerful spells cannot be absorbed at GM discretion.           Lifelink: Weapon, recharge 3 after effect ends; Shoot a special ammo life-linked to you or someone in your party. For every wound of damage inflicted on the affected target, restore one wound or hit on the linked ally. The link lasts 3 turns           Heal: recharge 1, spell, ranged; restores target’s hits to full and restores one wound, or removes all status effects. Crit restores 2 wounds, crit fail deals a wound of damage to the target.           Marksman Shot: recharge 3, requires ranged weapon; Autocrits. In combat, it can also be used to remove all afflictions on a target.   Special Talent: Lifeswap: Using her catalyst gem, she can use lifelink on herself and an ally, healing their wounds by taking them on herself.   Hits/Wounds: 5/5   Weapon: A reinforced slingshot capable of handling small - medium sized ammo. Carries an ammo pouch of metal balls for normal use, though other round objects can make do. If in scarcity of other ammo, can break crystals off own body (for a possible damage penalty). Armor:         Head: None normally; hood on cloak can be pulled up.         Torso: White cloak with several fasteners for being worn in differing layers of exposure, lined with pockets.       Pockets usually contain ammo for slingshot.         Feet: White hoof coverings intended for travelling rough terrain. Catalyst: An enchanted Yellow Diamond placed in her chest. Can be used for channeling and casting spells as needed.   Character Traits: A former citizen of the Crystal Empire, Emerald Remedy saw the effects of King Sombra's 1000 year rule and corruption of her once glorious people. Though she survived his reign, and crystal ponies have longevity of life span, the incident turned Emmy from a once cheerful pony to one paranoid constantly fearing being shattered and dying. Plagued with nightmares and feelings of helplessness she turned to the healing arts for aid, isolating herself from the world so that nothing could disturb her until she had the knowledge she desired. Unwilling to leave her sanctity compounded with a fear of practicing her beginner's skills on others and failing, she wounded herself and tested her medical magic until satisfied with the results. After many years of study she attempted her most ambitious project, implanting a magic catalyst of a gem in her own body so that she may never be ill prepared. She succeeded, fusing the catalyst with her chest permanently. Pleased with her achievements, Emerald sought to return to society, not prepared for the greeting she would receive, and with a highly visible body modification. The once social Emerald was disgruntled with her peers, and shamed of what her fears drove her to do to herself, causing her to leave the Empire as a wandering vagrant. She now seeks to use her training to help those who truly need it, and make up for the years spent alone.   Appearance: A green hued crystal mare, she is comparatively taller than her peers yet slightly stocky. Has a short wavy many of a darker green and bangs which part to the side, with a braid crossing from the opposite plane of her face behind the head. Almost always wears her white cloak closed (when not using her healing abilities) due to the stigma of her modification.
