“Another level three snow emergency?  In March?  I am so sick of this endless winter.”  You thought aloud as you stared out your window, unable to see anything but white powder.  Pouting to yourself, you repeatedly refreshed the thread you were browsing.  Nothing.  Posting was slow today and little to no original content seemed to be finding its way onto the image board.  Just then, the front door creaked open as cold howling winds rushed inside your humble home.         “Honey, I'm home!  I brought firewood, in case my darling was getting chilly.” Said a familiar voice.  The muffled footsteps slowly approached your room, before finally hearing the door slowly swing open.  Turning around, there stood the yeti girl you let into your home just a few months ago.  The unusual amount of snowfall this year would normally have been heaven for a yeti girl, but too much of it built up and caused the poor girl's home to collapse.  One morning you found her curled up in your backyard cuddling a snow covered tree.  Taking pity on her, you offered her a place to stay for as long as she needed.  Of course, she was no free loader and did everything to her ability to help around the house.  Snapping out of your daydream, you see she had wrapped her arms around you and was gently resting her head upon your shoulder.  You crack a smile as she softly hums to herself, her fur is extremely soft and feels warm to the touch.  A pleasing sensation during this winter chill.           “Darling, you're extremely cold.  Why don't you take a break from browsing 4chan and let me make you some delicious, warm soup?” She whispered in your ear.  Chuckling, you agreed and told her you'd set the fireplace.  In all of your boredom, you had forgotten about the furnace having broken down.  And blankets just weren't enough to keep you warm in this below zero weather.  Making your way to the living room, you carefully started stacking wood into the brick fireplace.  Double checking to make sure she wasn't looking, you sprayed a bit of lighter fluid on the wood to help get the fire started.  Flicking a match onto the wood, the fire roared to life.  The yeti silently snuck up behind you, carefully holding a porcelain bowl in her big paws. “Here's your soup honey, it's your favorite, cooked with extra love.” The yeti girl said with a big smile on her face.         “It's absolutely wonderful, thank you so much.” You said, taking a sip.  “It's perfect, but...” You hesitated to say more.         “But what?” Inquired the girl, clearly panicked at thought she messed something up.  Clutching her paws and trying to cover her face, she waited for your response.         “I'm still really cold, if you don't mind could we...you know.  On the futon while we watch a movie?” You timidly replied, trying to hide your embarrassment.         “Of course we can, you know how much I love doing that darling!” The yeti enthusiastically replied.  Turning on the television and putting in your blu-ray copy of Kelly's Heroes, you took your spot on the futon.  With no delay, the yeti laid right behind you with a huge smile across her face.  With your heart racing, she wrapped her arms around your stomach and pulled your body tight against hers.  Her soft, fluffy fur instantly warmed your entire body to the core.  You felt your heart skip a beat, as she nuzzled her head into your back.  She began to clumsily, yet delicately run her paws through your hair as you half-heartedly watched the film .  Her legs were messily entangled with yours, only occasionally did she attempt to straighten them out.  From time to time, she would daintily squirm and try to readjust her body when she got uncomfortable from being the big spoon.  Eventually, you paid little mind to the movie playing quietly in the background, as you focused on every little, cute breath she took.  Lodged in the blissful embrace of her heat, your breathing slowed as you drifted into a peaceful slumber.  A few hours later a quiet grumbled woke you from your kind nap.         “Honey, my arm fell asleep.  Could you move a bit?” The girl mumbled, as she nuzzled her head once more into your back, still half asleep.  Smiling at how adorable she was, you sat up and lightly moved her arm out from under your side.  Carefully you made your way back to the bedroom to grab her a blanket.  Skillfully laying the blanket over her so as not to wake her, you reclaimed your spot snuggled up next to her.  Feeling warm and loved you thought to yourself  “Maybe winter wasn't so bad, at least if it meant getting to cuddle up with her in front of the warm glow a fireplace provides.“
