Name: Resolute Sentiment Gender: Female Race: Earth Pony Class: Ascendant (Cleric/Paladin) Special Talent:  Live IN The Sword, Die IN The Sword:  Resolute is immobile and is unable to perform normal attacks herself (this includes weapon skills such as Cleave and Dual Wielding).  She is able to use spells, but is unable to use skills with the weapon tag, nor skills that involve attacking a target directly (such as Slam, All or Nothing, Tackle, etc.)  She is unable to observe nor communicate in any way until she is picked up by someone, but she is aware of her surroundings and of potential wielders around her. While being wielded by someone, she is considered a Masterwork Weapon with the Single, Catalyst, and possessed tag (and also has the +1 of Masterwork Weapon).  Self-target skills (including passive ones) can also be used on whoever is wielding her.  While being wielded, she is able to appear to the wielder in a spirit form (can be detected by magic and other spirits while she does this).  If she goes helpless while being wielded by someone, the wielder is still able to use her as a weapon (though she can't do anything until she recovers from helpless). For one time only, the wielder is able to switch the Single tag to either Dual, Great, or Ranged; which will also cause a change in appearance as a weapon.  If she changes wielders or her current wielder becomes disarmed of her, the tag will revert back to Single.  If wielded by someone who has done this already, she will change back to whatever tag and appearance she had with that wielder.  After some time has passed with a wielder (roughly one session), or the wielder willingly lets her link, she can make her voice be heard by others.  However, the source of the voice originates from the wielder.  She'll also be able to join her wielder mentally; able to share things such as thoughts, dreams, and sensations the wielder feels (such as good tasting food, feeling pain, smelling odors, etc.) (This does not mean she takes the damage the wielder does; she is just able to feel their pain.)  When mentally established, she doesn't need to be in contact with the wielder, but does need to stay within close proximity. Hits/Wounds: 6/6 Weapon and/or Catalyst: None   Character Traits: As a weapon, she (by default) looks like a gunmetal-gray, single-edge dussack.  She lacks a hilt; instead she has a large hole/handgrip that looks more at home on scissors.  Leather is wrapped around the main gripping area, with extra leather hanging off like a crude tassel.  The curved part of her cutting edge is serrated.  The blade has five, spherical gems embedded along its length.  These gems are malachite, can be classified as 'transparent', and are unnaturally lustrous.     When one is able to see her spirit, she appears as a gunmetal-gray earth pony with malachite green mane.  Her mane is styled back and drapes over both sides of her neck.  She wears a leather headband that keeps bangs out of her eyes.  Her tail also has a leather band, tied around the base of her tail.  Her cutie mark is an upside-down-triangle made up of three, silver swords with a sky-blue flame inside the triangle.   Skills: Tough: passive; Earth ponies take 1 additional hit before becoming helpless as well as 1 extra wound once they become helpless, for a total of 6 hits and 6 wounds without other modifiers. They can also lift, carry and move heavier objects than unicorns and pegasi.   Stand Firm: Instant, Once per combat after success; Plant your hooves deep and be as still as a mountain. As an instant action roll to lock your hits remaining at their current spot. At the start of next turn, you begin with that number of hits. This does not protect you from wound damage that exceeds your locked hits.     Empower Weapon: automatic instant, recharge 4 after effect ends, spell; caster or single ally gains +3 bonus to normal attacks. Each successful hit reduces the bonus by 1 until it reaches 0, ending the effect.   Bolster: automatic spell, ranged, recharge 4 after effect has been used; the target’s next roll to recover from helplessness is successful.   Fervor: automatic instant, recharge 2 after effect ends; next two actions autocrit, but you are helpless afterward.
