Cast yourself into this jungle of wormy tendrils and disembodied eyes, into this vortex of ethereal laughter, into the spinning thunderstorm that rules your mind! Throw yourself on the pyre of reason, hold your stomach to keep your guts inside and while choking back laughter! Run up the temple steps, throw yourself on the door, kneel before the altar, cry tears of blood and then rise, spit on the idol and run away giggling! Rob the poor of their eyes and give them to the rich, to carry in their satchels already filled to the brim! In the many funerals yet to come you will dance, and in weddings you will mourn inevitable ruin and decay. For you know the answer, you know the truth! It is you, and only you, that has seen beyond life and death, beyond the skies full of stars and gods, beyond destiny and fate!   But for now you must rest. You will have to travel far and wide, to scout the land back and forth until you well and truly know it. For the land will one day be yours, and you must know every secret it holds. Only then will you be granted permission to cross the invisible barrier, to the plain unknown to man, where you will be taught secrets both great and terrible. And one day, after you have proven yourself worthy, finally you will ascend. Finally you will become greater than any man, and indeed, greater than any god. Finally you will become master of all that can be seen and all that is unseen, finally, you will die!
