>Today is not like other days. >Today, you have a plan. >Today, you WILL have fun! >Unfortunately, Twilight has decided to start the day by singing, which has woken you up way off schedule. >You slide out of the rafters and tap her on the head, just hard enough to stop her from singing. >Well, now that you've woken up, there's no point in going back to sleep. >You backflip out a window and notice the sky is pretty weird. >All checkerboard clouds and stuff. >A quick look around reveals that Rarity is the cause. "Rarity." >"Mm Hmm?" "You don't do the weather. That's what Rainbow Dash does." >"That can't possibly be the case. I've dealt with the weather for all the time I've lived here." >This is a problem. The weather needs to be a certain way for you to have fun. "You're going to make dresses, or I'm going to make you." >She ignores you. >Final straw. >You lift her over your head and stop being outside >And start being in Carousel Boutique. >You place her on the ground, and push her towards a sewing machine. "Be a dear and make some clothes or whathaveyou." >And then you notice Applejack trying to make some dresses. >That can't be right... "What's with the tailoring, AJ?" >"It's what ah've always done." "No it bloody isn't." >You grab Applejack, and stop being in Carousel Boutique >And start being in Sweet Apple Acres. >Why are all the trees dead? >Oh. Pinkie's trying to harvest them. >That's definitely not right. "AJ, fix the farm. Pinkie, You're coming with me." >You tackle Pinkie, and stop being in Sweet Apple Acres >And start being in the worst stand up comedy routine ever conceived. >Or Sugarcube Corner, not that there's a difference right now. >You place Pinkie down, and look around for the sorry excuse of a comedian that's trying to- >Oh, it's Fluttershy. >You pick her up, and stop being in Sugarcube Corner >And start being in Fluttershy's Cottage. >Animals running amok everywhere. "You live here. Get these animals to calm down." >Tossing Fluttershy to the side, you notice that Rainbow Dash is tied up in a pot. >You run your finger along her face and taste it. "Needs more pepper, but enough cookery. You're fixing the weather." >You stop being in Fluttershy's Cottage >And start being in an open field. "Nice and clear, if you would." >She looks confused for a bit, before tentatively flying up to a cloud and kicking it. >Something seems to dawn upon her, though you can't imagine what, and then she starts kicking up a nice clear day. >Perfect. >You stop being in a field >And start being back in the library. >Twilight isn't there. This is a good thing. >You grab as many books as you can, and stuff them into your bottomless box, along with a sizeable quantity of string you've been saving. >And by saving, you mean you've been unravelling the rugs one by one while Twilight wasn't looking and hiding the string from them in your bottomless box. >You skip and prance your way back you the field, and dump all the books and string on the ground. >It is time to build a kite. >You lay all the books out in a giant diamond shape, with a bunch of extra books to form the supports. >Then, because just laying the books out like that obviously won't hold together, you wrap the kite in piles and piles of string. >Yeah. That should do. >You lead a line of string out a ways, and wonder how you're going to get the kite off the ground. >Uhhhh. >Hmmm. >The best way to get it off the ground would be to get it in the air. >The easiest way you can think to do that would be to make it so gravity pulled the kite up instead of down. >You bend over and grab the world >And lift it above your head. >The kite falls into the sky, and you cling tight to the ground. >Before the kite can get too far away, you flip the world back to normal, and grab the kite string. >You run around, trying to get enough speed that the kite stays aloft. >And it does! >You fly your kite all day, and well into the evening, before a purple unicorn approaches you. >"Hey, Anon. I was worried when you weren't in the library asleep by four, so I went looking for... Are those the books that were missing from the library?" "Well, yeah. What else would I make a kite out of?" >She opens her mouth to speak, but stops herself. "And do you know how difficult it was to get this kite aloft? I had to reverse gravity!" >The most incredulous of incredulous looks. "No, really! Well, more like I moved the ground while gravity stayed still, but it's the same effect." >You were wrong. The look only gets more incredulous. >You put your hand on the ground and lift the world above you, making sure you don't hit your kite. >Twilight falls into the sky, and you hold on tight to the ground. >You put the ground back where it belongs, and stand on your kite string. >Arms outstretched, you catch Twilight as she falls back down. "Y'see, if I knew how to use telekinesis, I wouldn't have had to do that."
