I looked to the sky, expressionless. “Everything is okay.” I nod and blink slowly as I take in a deep breath. My eyes open and the sky is painted in a rainbow of colors that melt together and at the same time have distinct regions. There is no pattern to the colors, they just are where they are. Life had returned to normal. I still don’t understand any of the things that I never seem to really get. But I’m okay with that. “Maybe I should paint? But what to paint” I look at the colors hoping for an answer. I keep looking and next to a pink cloud is a splotch of green. But not just any green, a bright vibrant green. It takes up such a small amount of space in the sky but once you see it it stands out past all of the rest. The reds and blue and yellows and purples and blacks and whites and browns, none of them can compare to that green. “Is that the color of fun? What does it taste like? What sound is it?” I wanted to find these things out. I decided the only way was to paint that green, that fun that I saw.
