"Hisao, it's snowing a lot, will we still be able to go?" "I don't think it'll stop us unless it turns into a flurry. The airports well prepared for things like this." Hisao set his hands on the windowsill, his arm brushing me as he leaned out to look a the snow outside. "It's very pretty though." The snow had lightly covered the streets. A plain white sheet, without even a single footprint denting it. The lamps lighting the street had their tops covered in little mounds of white. Almost all of the windowsills were covered in snow, leaving the foot closest to the buildings lighter in snow. "Hey, Rin. Why don't we go make snow angels before we leave?" "Okay." He started to wheel the two suitcases and carry-on bags out. "I can carry one." He stared at me for a moment, then nodded. He took one of the carry-ons and strapped it over me, he made sure to nestle it close to my neck. "Is it too heavy?" "It's fine. Let's go." I scooted between him and the wall and opened the door with my hip. "That excited to make snow angels?" "It sounds fun."   --------   Hisao set our stuff against the building, near the door. The entrance to our apartment had blinking Christmas lights around the door. Some of the other buildings had brighter things. The one across the street had lights in the shape of a star. The best one was- "Rin! You keep staring off and I'll be done making mine before you start." I shake the snow that settled on my head before I lay down next to Hisao. I move my arms and legs back and forth.   "Do you want help up?" I look down from where i was looking at our window. "Why?" "So you don't mess up the snow angel." I look at the snow next to me. "Okay." He pulls me up by my waist until I get on my feet. "It looks great." I stand next to him and look at the ground. His angels wings were twice as long as mine. Cold. "Hisao. The snow." "...what?" "Its cold." He stared blankly. "Oh!" He patted the snow off my back and neck. Click. "Hm?" "I took a picture. Cause it's cute." My face is warm. Hisao's smiling more than usual. "Ready to go?" "Okay."
