>"Yes really darling, the princess moves the sun every day, surly she'd never let it burn so brightly to burn anypony."

"Right, right.. yeah, like I was saying, it's very important that I have clothes to walk around in, and this gown is much too short for me to be comfortable with."
>"Hmm.. ok, I need you to stand up for me."
>Derpy helps you too your feet while Rarity pulls out a measuring tape from you don't know where.
>She takes your measurements, the bag of clothes and leaves, taking Sweetie Belle with her.
>Shoot, you forgot to ask her about magic, oh well, at least she'll be taking care of your clothes for you, you'll have to thank her properly for that.

"Hey, Derpy, could you help me back into bed?"
"I've been in this wheelchair all day and I'm kind of tired."
>She helps you into bed and helps you get comfortable.
"Thank you Derpy.. hey.. I was uh."
>She gives a wondering look
"Well, I was wondering if, maybe you'd.."
"Like to come up here with me?"
>The bed was a decent size and could hold the two of you, though it'd be a bit of a squeeze.
"I mean, there's plenty of room up here, and I thought it'd be nice if we were both comfortable and talked about our day."
>She doesn't seem too sure about it but..
>"Are you sure Anon?"
>"I don't want to cause you any trouble or anything by being up there.."
>"I mean, I wouldn't mind it, really, I wouldn't, I just don't want to hurt you by squeezing myself up there, you know?"
"I'll be fine Derpy, besides, I could use the company up here."
>Though still not sure about this idea, she slowly climbs up on the bed, being careful not to touch you too much.
>After some struggling, both for you to move over a bit to make more room, and her avoiding hurting you, the both of you are finally settled.
>Her warm body and soft fur are pressed up against your right side.
>You slowly place your right arm around Derpy, she doesn't seem to mind.

>"It was a bit rough today, but nothing I couldn't handle."
>"Today I had a lot of packages to deliver and I strained my wing a bit.. but I'm ok, promise."
>Almost absentmindedly you softly touch her hurt wing and rub it.
>You can feel the chill that ran down her spine when you touched it, but she didn't object to the physical contact.
>"I had to go back and forth a few times cause I couldn't carry everything, but a lot of the ponies I delivered to were so happy they got their package that I didn't mind."
>She seemed truly happy and content with that.
"It sounds like you had a long day, I'm glad you're here now though and can prop your fe-hooves up and relax."
>"It is very comfy here, especially with somepony, or, someone here to enjoy it with."
"Derpy.. do you, live alone?"
>"W-well of course, I'm a grown mare, I can take care of myself."
>She appeard slightly indignant.
"No, no that's not what I meant."
"I mean, is there noone else you can spend time with?"
"I'm sorry, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, I just.. well you spend a lot of time with me here and you haven't been back to your home that I know of.."
"I don't mean to pry, and I'm very grateful that you've been by my side all this time, I just, I worry about you."
>You begin petting her, hoping to keep her calm and reassure you didn't mean offense.
>"No, it's ok Anon.."
>"There's a few ponies I spend time with, and they're nice enough but I.."
>"I've never invited them over cause I don't exactly have the best home."

>"I mean, it's comfy enough I guess.. I even put some flowers out to make it look better."
>"But it's still pretty small and not much there.."
>"That's why I like coming up here, with you."
>"At least there's someone to spend time with and I don't feel so alone at night."

"I know exactly how that feels Derpy."
"I'm glad you've been here every night, I don't know how alone I would have felt if I didn't have a friend with me in this place."

"I wouldn't be.. putting you out by staying with you, would I?"

>"I'd love it if you stayed with me, it'd make the place so much more like a home then."

"Besides, I don't plan on doing nothing every day, maybe there's something I can do to help fix things up if they're that bad."

"Nonsene, you've been very kind with me and I plan to repay that kindness."
"I'm sure I'll be fine once this unicorn doctor comes and helps things along."

"Now we just need to wait till I get better, which should be 2 days from now."

>Derpy and I ate breakfast together again, it was becoming a welcome habit.
>Again she had to leave for work but said tomorrow she'll be off so after the doctor comes she can help me to her place.

"Wow, this looks like a nice place Derpy."
>Although it looks to be in a state of filth incomprehensible.

>After a short time the place looks a bit cleaner.
>Still some dust around the place but you can handle it.
>There's actually more to the place than you saw outside, there's enough room for the two of you and still plenty of space to walk around.
>You have to hunch over of course but you don't plan on walking in the house often anyway.

"Hey, Derpy, I'm kind of tired.."
"Can we just rest for now?"
>"Of course Anon, you've had a long day."
>She pulls out a pillow.
>"Here, it's not much but it's what I've got for now, you use it."
"Really?"
>"Of course Anon, you're still hurt, you need it more than I do."
>You take the pillow and place it behind you.
>It's actually a very comfortable pillow, just the right amount of softness.
>"Is there anything else I can do for you?"
"Well.. there is one thing.."
>She appears ready to do whatever you ask.
"I could use a blanket... but not just any blanket will do.."
>Now she seems a bit worried that she won't be able to do what you ask, but will still try.
>"I'll try my best Anon."

"You, I want you over here and lay next to me."
>Of course she walks up to you and lays down, her tail draped over your legs.
>The two of you just lay there, chatting a bit but after a while you fall asleep.

>You try to get up without waking Derpy but it proves impossible as she's somehow managed to get half her body on top of you.
>She wakes slowly, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Yeah, it was good."
"I think we slept most of the day though, it wasn't that late when we fell asleep but it looks like it's almost nighttime."
>"Yeah, you're right."
>She still seems tired.
"Why don't we walk around a bit outside?"
>"Sure thing Anon, maybe the night air will wake me up."
>The two of you go outside.
>It's a little chilly, you're thankful you got those clothes from Rarity.
"Wow, the moon looks great tonight, doesn't it?"
>"It's sure does Anon."
>"I've always been a fan of Luna's moon."
"Luna?"
"Who's that?"
>She gave you an odd look until she remembered you're not from here.
>"Oh, right, she's one of the princesses."
>"She raises the moon every night and puts up all the stars too."
>You're still not so sure on this whole, princesses can move such enormous things every day and night.
 
 
 
 
"Just how many princesses are there, and what do they do?"
>"Well, there's Princess Celestia, she raises the sun every day, she also looks after all of us."
>"Then there's Luna, she raises the moon and stars each night and watches over our dreams."
"Hold on a second there..."
"She.. watches your dreams?"
>"Yeah, she goes into ponies dreams and watches over them."
>What the hell?
"Ok... uh, keep going then."
>"Oh, ok.. There's also Princess Cadance, she's the princess of love, she rules over the Crystal Empire."
>"Most recently though, a fourth princess came about, that's Twilight, the princess of friendship."
>"She actually lives here in Ponyville."
>You remember hearing that before, and it was suggested you talk to this pony.
"So.. 4 princesses... what about a queen? Or a King?"
>"Q-queen?"
>"We don't have any of those silly, the only queen I've ever heard of is queen of the changelings and she's not very nice."

>Well, that doesn't matter right now.

>The two of you lay down and just look up at the sky.
>It is still a bit chilly, so you slowly slide your way towards Derpy.
>Before she really notices, you embrace her.
>She jumps slightly but soon accepts the hug.
>The two of you lay there for a bit, just holding on to each other.
>After some time she taps you.
>"Anon?"
"Yes?"
>"I'm glad I met you, it's not so bad out here with someone to spend time with."
"I'm glad I met you too."
"It's a little cold.. I know we slept a lot during the day, but how about we go back to your home where it's a bit warmer?"
>She agrees and the two of you make a short walk back to her home.
>There's only one blanket and pillow, so the two of you huddle up close and share the blanket.
>You use the pillow, while Derpy uses you as a pillow.
>This night she holds on to you as she falls asleep and you scratch the back of her ear until you both fall asleep.
>The two of you wake up a bit later than usual but still some time before she has to leave for work.
 
 
 
 
>Derpy leaves for a few minutes and comes back with muffins for breakfast.
>A strong urge to kiss this little pony overcame you... yet you just couldn't follow through with it, it just seems a bit too soon to do something like that.
"Hey.. Derpy, I was wondering something."

"Well, I've heard a lot about this princess that lives in town, but I don't really know anything about her."
"If she's the authority here... shouldn't I introduce myself or something?"
"I mean, as far as I know I'm the only human that's ever been here and I'm not really sure how I got here.."
>"You're right Anon, after we eat I'll take you to her."
>"I do have to work.. but I'm sure you'll be ok by yourself, she's very nice."
>So you're going to meet royalty today.
>Never thought that'd happen.

"Thanks Derpy, maybe I can learn a bit about this place more."
