As the sun grew larger and peaked over the top of the hill that could be seen in the distance, Mortimer stretched and saw that his master, many simply refer to as Boss, was beginning to stir. The old cat stretched once more, and walked over to the door, checking it once more, pulling at the bottom corner. With a shake, the door moved in the little room it had to wiggle and clacked against its frame. With a heavy and sleepy sigh, Boss turned over and sat up, her hair everywhere aside from where it should be. “Mortimer… do you need out?” She said drearily as she moved her hair out of the way and rubbed her eyes. With a very soft meow to not make her overreact, Mortimer moved closer to the bed. “Poor kitty. I’ll let you out in a second. Just gotta…” Yawning, she stretches again, “Just gotta get up…” Her bare feet hit the carpet and the slight chill of the morning creep over her. Shivers go through her as she cracks her eyes. “So early…” She shambles to the door and opens it, letting her cat shoot out of the door and into the bathroom. “Ah… I should probably leave the door open from now on. Don’t want to have him having any accidents…” She yawns again, feeling the weariness of the prior night catch up to her. The crew worked a late night helping a large group of people that came in. They had a local band Cash had watched in concert come right before closing, and, thanks to Cash’s promises that they would be able to get some good pizza, the whole crew stayed behind to help. Peabea and Milkbar were the only ones who didn’t stay. Chadsworth stayed to watch over everything, and once they were all finished, they had closed around 1 in the morning. Luckily, with it being Sunday, Pizza Thot didn’t open until noon, so they had some time to rest and recuperate. And with it just being 6:30, Boss still had plenty of time before she met the others for their workouts in the morning today. She flipped her eggs and bacon over just as the toast was getting done. With her plate set, and her coffee almost done, she sat at her table while Mortimer nibbled at his food. The coffee helped her head more than the medicine had at that moment, and she ate her breakfast leisurely. Her brain calmed, and soon, she felt revitalized. She slipped into her workout gear, and brought all the stuff she needed for work in her bag. “Be good Mortie. I’ll be back at eight or so. Not so late this time. Love you!” She shut the door and locked it, and made her way to her car and was on her way to the gym close to the restaurant; Work It Out!   Rolling up to the gym, Tips was sitting outside on the curb, her bag on her shoulder and hair tied back, tapping her foot as she bobbed her head to whatever music she was listening too. Tips sat up and made her way over to the car and got to the door before Boss had prepared herself to get out. Just as the seatbelt unbuckled, Tips had the door open and was all smiles as usual. “’Sup Boss!? Ready to get that ass to work?” She said in her usual energetic way. Boss’ fatigue rolled over her again for a moment, but with a deep breath and a sigh, she took it in stride. “Yeah Tips. Let’s get to it. Chadsworth here yet?” She said before finishing getting out of the car. Tips got the door for her again and she locked it before making her way to the entrance. “Haven’t seen ‘em. His car here?” “I’m asking you. You’re the one who was sitting on the curb.” “Oh right. Nah. I didn’t see it. You call him?” “No. Not yet. I’ll text him or something. Let’s go in and get some stretches done before her gets here.” She took out her phone from her bag texted Chadsworth, seeing where he was and if everything was alright. She didn’t think much of it, but not but a few minutes later, as they were putting their things away, he replied. “-Yes! I’ll be there momentarily! Had some business this morning to take care of! I am sorry to worry you!-“ His reply sounded much like him; kind, understanding, and very pleasant. With that, all worry left her as she pushed against Tips back on the ground, trying to help her reach her toes. “God you are so stiff!” Tips gave a little laugh replied in a strained voice, “Yeah I said that a few times last night.” “Not the time Tips. Keep stretching and let’s get this workout over with. I have to at least do better than what I did the day before on the treadmill.” “You hit a mile in six minutes Boss. That’s pretty good I think." “I used to do it in four. I can get back there. If I get it in 5:30 I’d be happy.” They switched positions, and Tips was now pushing gently to help Boss reach past her toes and nearly make her face touch the floor. “The strength training I can do after. I just want to try and get that for now. Then… is the distance…” “Hehe. Gotcha beat there.” “Of course you do with your long ass legs. Come on. Let’s go.” As they stood up, and did a few more stretches, Chadsworth came through the door, somewhat out of breath and hair a mess. His moustache was even a little unkempt. “Hello you two! Ready for today’s workout?” “What the hell did you do? Run here? Sit down Chadsworth. Is everything alright?” Boss said, wide eyed and motioned for him to move to the bench. With lowered shoulders he moved over, somewhat defeated. Chadsworth knew he couldn’t hide anything from Boss. They knew each other too well. “What’s up man? What’s going on?” With a heavy sigh, he looked her in the eyes, “Cash was inside Pizza Thot all night last night with a few of those band members.” Boss feared the worst for a moment, they figured Cash could have taken them all on if she really wanted; in more ways than one. The lewder option was probably what happened from how she was acting around them the night before. She merely shook her head and let out a sigh. The pain in her head was coming back. “Alright. We’ll deal with it once we get there. Have you been cleaning it this morning?” “Since 5 ma’am. There’s still much to be done.” “It’s 7:30 right now. We’re skipping the workout today and we are heading over to fix things. Chadsworth, you’re coming with us and you can rest there and get your strength back for the day. We’ll just work harder tomorrow alright? Tips you good with that?” “Sure Boss! As long as you give me a ride,” She said with her normal braces filled smile. With they, they jumped into their vehicles again and drove to the restaurant as fast as possible. Bursting through the door once it was unlocked, the place was nothing like how they left it. Tables were overturned still and there were stains of various things all over the floor and walls. Cash was in shorts and a ragged t-shirt as she scrubbed furiously at the floors with a harsh looking mop. “Oh… uh… hey guys…”   “I told them Cash. I’m sorry.” Chadsworth spoke up immediately. Cash began to say something but was cut off by Boss. “Save it Cash. Tell us later or while we work. We are helping you clean up. Did you guys just trash in here or anywhere else?” Head hung low, “Just up here. We Chadsworth already helped me clean up the bathrooms. That was the only other place we went.”   The crew grabbed their cleaning supplies and got to work. As time went on, they eventually got the story from Cash out, albeit reluctantly. The band members were classmates in a few classes and Cash had gone to their practices quite a few times, and this concert was their first big break. She found their music spoke to her the only way garage goth rock could, and she also found the bassist, the lead singer and guitarist, and the lead guitarist to be goddamn sexy to boot. So when she promised them good food, and maybe a longer afterparty, she expected at least one of them to stick around far longer than the others. She didn’t count on all of them to stick around and have fun. “Cash really?” Tips said, with a wink, mostly to tease her. “What!? Don’t tell me you wouldn’t have…” “I’m not sayin’ anything.” Tips giggled as she scrubbed away in her workout outfit. After a while, the dining area was clean, and everything was put back the way it needed to be. It was now 10:00 and the other members started to show up to get things rolling in the morning. Milk was first, coming in hesitantly. “W-w-what’s goin’ on? Why’re ya’ll here so early?” Boss was in the kitchen with Chadsworth, taking inventory and sipping on soda to get their energy back.  Tips rushed Milk and embraced her in a tight hug. “Milkbar!! What’s shakin’ bacon?” Flustered she tried to get Tips off her. “G-g-good morning Tips! Please give me some space! It’s been a rough morning!” “You too huh? We’ve been here since like eight. Cash stayed the night here with some boys here!” “Tips don’t tell everyone!” Cash said with an embarrassed look on her face. Milk looked over to Cash and gave her a little smile. “I… I won’t tell anyone Cash. You can tell me when you want whenever okay?” Another soft smile and Cash felt at ease. “That doesn’t mean Tips is going to stop though.” She said with a soft giggle. Tips was already greeting and telling the next few people to come in all about it, Chef and Peabea were next and were already getting an earful. After a small confrontation between Tips and Cash, Tips promised not to tell any customers about what happened the night before, if she got all the juicy details from Cash about what happened last night. After everything calmed down and the restaurant was ready to go, it was soon to be noon and time to open. “Everyone be ready, looks like it’ll be another busy day. Chef I hope some pizzas are almost ready to go!” “They are Boss. Almost done in the oven and they’ll be put on the buffet!” He called from the kitchen. “Alright. Peabea you can open the—TIPS WHERE’S YOUR GODDAMN UNIFORM!?” Tips was somehow, even after all this time with people getting ready to open, still in her workout clothes. Astounded with anger rage Boss took a few deep breathes as a thought popped into her head. “Tips, keep those on. Chadsworth, get those hotpants on and that tanktop. We’ll be making bank today.” The doors opened that day to many happy and horny guests as they got to feast their eyes on delicious pizza and a few of the thots from Pizza Thot in their workout gear. Yoga pants, tight shirts, and more skin than usual, the restaurant made more in revenue that day than they did for the past two weeks.   <>
