>about 15 minutes later you find yourself at Rarity's house, carrying a box with the word “Old” on it in black marker >you knew that Rarity made clothes for a living, and you knew that there would be a lot >but this is ridiculous >there must be at least 20 boxes here, all marked with something to the likes of “Out-of-Date” or “Old” >you even found one with “What was I thinking?” written on it >you'll have to try to sneak a peak in there later >the box isn't so much as heavy as it is awkward to hold, you try to juggle it a little to get a better grip on it >this elicits a yelp from Rarity >”Oh Anonymous darling, do try to be careful with my dress.” >you stop in front of the attic and turn around to look at her >”What? They are very fragile.” Rarity smiles at you as she tilts her head toward the staircase, urging you to continue >how can clothes be fragile? >reaching the top of the ladder you ever so slightly place the box on the attic floor and gently nudge it forward with your foot >amazingly enough the attic is almost empty, save for a few things, possibly lamps, beneath some sheets “Say Rarity...”, You start as you climb back down the ladder. “You design a lot of clothes don't you? Why isn't your attic filled to the brim with old dress or something?” >Rarity trots back to the hallway, towards the other boxes filled with obsolete clothing >”Oh, well that's because if I can't find some use for the dresses after a year or so I usually just donate them to charity.” “That's very generous of you, Rarity.” You lift another box up, this one is a bit heavier with “Dreadful” stamped on it. >”Well it is my element, Anonymous. But thank you for the compliment.” >as you set the box down next to its new companion, something pops into your head >you peak your head out through the small hole in the ceiling as you look down at Rarity “So that means that I have to move all of this back down in a year.” >Rarity looks up at you and chuckles >”You say it as if its a bad thing, darling.” She continues to smile at you as you make your way down the ladder >you grin and roll your eyes >you sigh and take a glance at your watch >Christ this is going to take forever >Rarity notices you and asks curiously, “Do you have somewhere to be?” “Twilight was going to the edge of the Everfree and she wanted me there to escort her or something.” You shrug as you try to sum up your earlier events. >Rarity begins to giggle, “Aw, did she want a handsome gentle-colt to guide her through the Everfree?” >this mare sometimes you swear, its like she loves to get under your skin “That's not what she meant, she wanted me there in case a Timberwolf attacked or something.” >”Timberwolves are hardly ever seen near the edge of the Everfree. Maybe she wanted you there for your company~?” >Rarity nudges you in the side playfully >what was this marshmallow getting at? “What are you getting at?” You bend down to pick up another box but Rarity stops you >”Nothing darling.” She motions towards the door. “Why don't you go find Twilight? We can finish this up later and I'm sure Twilight can appreciate your company more than I can.” >you stand back up and try to pop your back >no luck “Thanks, Rarity. I'll be back lat-” >you get cut off by a bloodcurdling scream somewhere off in the distance “What was that?” You ask to no one in particular as you look at the door >Rarity takes a few steps towards the door, ”That sounded a little like...” >you both look at each other at the same time “Twilight!” >“Twilight!” >the two of you sprint out of Carousel Boutique, heading towards the direction of the scream
