        Valon, when you told me you wanted me to be your best man I was ecstatic. Unfortunately, my work didn't allow me to travel to your wedding all the way in Kosovo. I hope this video message will make up for it.
Ladies and gentlemen, I want to introduce to you Valon Aliu. Now, I know what most of you are thinking, "Why on Earth is he introducing me to him?" to some of you he is a family member, a close relative, and to you Sasha, a he is a lover. Today I would like to introduce you all to my closest friend, to the Valon that I have known for over 12 years.
I have grown up with him since we were half our age and half our own height. It was Wredling Middle School where I was lucky to have made his acquaintance. Throughout all these years I have seen him grow into a selfless, and loyal man. I would like to share with you all my experiences with him.
        I remember once, during high school, Valon and I were walking our way home through 3 feet of snow. My foot had become numb, and I was panicking at the thought that I might develop frost bite. Looking back at it, my foot was probably fine, nevertheless, this man here, took off his hat in order for me to wrap it around my foot, and carried me on his back for over a mile, treading through a vicious blizzard just for me. I knew then, that he would give others everything he had in order for their well being. His selflessness was proved time and time again, like the time he gave up his lunch hour for all of junior year just to help me and a few other friends with our German class. Because of this,  whenever I hear the term "give the shirt off one's back" I think of Valon.
        The most valuable virtue that Valon holds however, is his loyalty. Never, in all my years of knowing him, has he ever let down his friends. No matter the reason, no matter the cost, no matter the consequence, Valon would always be there. During the summer of our senior year in high school, my car had broken down at the side of the highway in the middle of the night. My parents were out of town at the time, and I instead called Valon, knowing I could rely on him. He snuck out of the house with his mother's van, and arrived to help me jump start my own car. He later arrived home to his mother who was furious, and he wasn't allowed out of the house for the next week. I've always looked up to his loyalty, and it's definitely something none of you should ever take for granted.
        Sasha, I trust you will take care of Valon just as well as he will take care of you. Ever since he met you, he has hasn't stopped talking about how great you are, and how much he loves you. I know for a fact he will give you his all, never leaving your side. As his best friend, I am beyond proud to give you my blessing. So I would like to call a toast for the both of you, Valon and Sasha, and your beautiful matrimony.
