>You are Anonymous the ancient >And you are in a most curious situation. >How long has it been since you came to this world? >A millenia? >Two maybe three? >Well however long it's been you still remember who you were before coming to this strange new land and in your splendid (if you may say so yourself) form. >Having lived a long life as a human and gotten children grandchildren and even great grandchildren, you died happily in your bed surrounded by your family. >But in life there was always one thing you fantasized about, being a dragon and soaring across the skies being free. >Imagine your surprise when you woke up the next day breaking out of something hard and looking up to see a motherfucking dragon. >A couple of decades later you were living your dream of flying across the skies without a care in the world >Decades turned into centuries and the novelty wore out a bit, so you decided to do other dragony things. Like sleeping for long periods in a mountain. >Dragons did that right? Well you did anyway. Fuck the other dragons you knew what was up. >Having slept for what felt like lifetimes you were awoken by the sound of someone crying, a very young thing from the sounds of it. >"*sniff* S-stupid s-sister! I don't need her or her stupid subjects. *sniff*" >Something struck a chord in your chest, remembering the days when you would comfort your son and granddaughter after they had been bullied by their siblings. >Extending your senses you try to locate the little thing, reaching ever further into your dwelling. >Passing by stalagmites and turns you search and search until you finally *sense* the little one. >The poor little thing is curled up hugging its knees and crying, and you can't quite sense what it is. Certainly isn't human though. >Concentrating a little bit more you give her a little magic nudge >"What is the matter little one?" >This whole telepathy thing is kind of strange you decide, but still useful for communicating when your actual voice comes out like booming thunder. >"*sniff* W-who are you?" >"Hmhm I am Anonymous the... Huh I never actually got a title now that I think about it, just call me Anonymous then." >She lets out a giggle, atleast you assume it's a she unless your hearing has gone bad. >"*sniff* You're funny, but where are you mister?" >You stop for a little, she would probably be afraid of you. After all you are quite... monstrous. >But would it hurt to have a little company again? >"Further into the cave little one, go straight from where you are and take a left and then a right." >Time passes a little as you hear clops approaching you. >"Mister? I'm here, where are you?" >You let out a chuckle and exhale slightly, small puffs of fire coming out of your nostrils. >"Right here little one." >She lets out a gasp and quickly cowers behind a rock and observes you with her comically huge eyes (to you atleast) >"D-d-d-d-dragon!" >You let out another chuckle. >"Don't be afraid little one, I mean you no harm." >Opening your eyes further they adjust to the darkness of the cave letting you finally perceive her tiny form.   >A tiny dark blue pony is before you, what a strange little creature. >Her fearful and curious little eyes roam across your majestic form taking in all the details. "Now then, what is the matter little one?" >She comes out from behind her tiny hiding place and carefully approaches you, sitting down just across your snout. >"I'm not little! And my name is Luna!" >D'aww how adorable. "So it is, but you have yet to tell me why you are within my home crying Luna." >You move your head slightly so your eye is right next to her. >She sniffles once and wipes her eyes. >"M-my sister is adored by all of her subjects and they all pay attention to her while I am ignored." >You blink. "Certainly? Why would anyone not adore such a cute filly as you?" >She lowers her head slightly. >"Celestia earned her cutie mark not long ago and it depicts her connection to the sun while I have not gotten mine yet." >Cutie mark? What an utterly hilarious name, but she seems to care for it. "Oh? And I assume that such a thing is an important event for a youngling? >"*sniff* Yes, she got hers by accidently over charging a spell she was preparing and moved the sun." >Moving the sun? Preposterous! Everyone knows that the sun moves on it's own. But you'll let them have their little delusions. "Indeed? She must be extraordinarily powerful to perform such a feat, but being her sister surely you must have some power of your own no?" >she lets out a small sob and starts crying again >"No, I am just useless little Luna with no talent for magic or anything else!"   "I don't believe that for a second Luna, infact I see that you could be quite talented one day." >"*sniff* Y-You think so?" >You let a small chuckle and bring your snout down to nuzzle her "I know so, all you have to do is put your mind to it." >You began telling her the tale of the serpent and the eagle that mocked it's inability to fly. >As you told your tale you saw Luna paying closer and closer attention to you, glueing herself to your every word as if she was dangling over a cliff from a rope. >Had this child truly lost so much hope in herself? >As you finished your tale she looked up at you with a shy smile >"D-Do you think that I too could be like the serpent one day knowing both how to fly and cast magic?" >You close your eyes and nuzzle her slightly. "You will become quite the sight Little Luna, as long as you believe in yourself then you too will soar across the skies one day." >Your energy is slowly draining and you feel tired, perhaps you hadn't slept for as long as you thought. Closing your eyes you slowly drift back into unconciousness but not before hearing Luna speak again. >"Thank you mister for being nice, I'll be the best magic user out there you'll see! And I'll come back again in a few weeks so you don't get lonely!" >Subconciously you smile as you fall into a deep sleep. >Perhaps you have another grandchild you can dote on now.
