For those of you who are just joining us on pirate quest, let me do a little recap. After discovering the ruined remains of redhoof's ship crashed upon the rocks. The party discovered a curse of an enchanted ruby that bound the skeleton crew to its ship and learned about the once fierce pirate trio that ruled these seas. On summertime beach episode, the group found a map in a bottle, the X marking an uncharted island in the middle of the sea, a seemingly permanent storm surrounding the island. A group of outcast Libertarian socialist beavers found the ruin of redhoof's ship renamed it the floating dam and set off with Adelaide as their captain.
 
You all eventually find your way through the dense jungle, the path has been traveled so many times you can easily follow the path and red strings attached to tree's to the eastern coast. But you can hear it way before you can see it. The sounds of a sawmill fill the air.
 
Steping out of the jungle. You can see Dennis the beaver donning his hardhat again while the crew of the floating dam are transporting planks of wood and spare materials for the ship into the hull. "I-I was almost worried none of you would come."
 
"Well, us and Captain Adelaide were set down upon by the emerald fury. We had no protection, no gut, and no clue what we were doing... our own eagerness to setoff before properly preparing made us an easy target..." as he goes on the once overconfident and bossy beaver
begins to avoid eye contact, looking down in shame "Once we saw their skeleton crew had boarded, She stood on the deck though and made a stand while the rest of ran down into the hull scared for our life...craven, the whole lot of us..."
 
"Well then lads, why don't we run through how to use these iron boys. Dare I say it but many of my brothers are...simple creatures. But they listen very well to directions! You give them the command of when to fire once in good range and they'll let them go. while reload the cannons for the next volley!" Dennis scans the ocean water for a moment "Hmmm...Oh look there! Theres a target!" a small rock spire sits in the water minding his own business "Take aim at the spire and we'll see if you've got the hang of it!"

(Insert name here) looks out through the telescope, scanning the vast blue in front of him. Quickly overlooking a small brown spot in the distance. Realizing what they missed, they immediately begin to focus the telescope in on the ship in the distance. Roll perception for details, if failed you may pass it to someone with better eyesight to try.
 
As they gaze through the telescope, you can make out a ship much smaller than your own sitting in the water. The main sail of the ship is embroidered with the equestrian emblem. While The wood lacks the green shading of the emerald fury unfortunately, A raised white flag signal no need to be alarmed. To the north, a group clouds above begin to grow into a soft shade of gray
 
As you sail by the vessel. An eerie silence hangs over the ship, it looks devoid of any life. The whole ship looks looted completely. r1d20+perception.   "Ricardo..." he spits out the word, teeth clenched together in anger. As you step out back onto the deck of the ship. Every now and then you feel a soft trickle of rain hit your body. Just a calm sprinkle really.
