Hello there. If you're reading this I'd like you to imagine it in Morgan Freeman's voice. Now that we've done so. Let me give a little backstory for some, and a refresher for others.
 
Who:
Misty Guardpaw the Diamond dog: Clad in leather studded armor the diamond dog stands tall, a purple amathyst placed in the spiked collar around her neck. On her front paws are two iron plated gauntlets, when activated they become encased in hardened Jasper allowing her to utilize her strength.
 
Brock the Diamond Dog: Has yet to be seen. Misty's old traveling partner. Together the two of them were sent out on mission to investigate the creation of golems in the Badland mountain's caves. After dispelling a trap around a chest encased in rose quartz. Brock reactivated it trapping her inside the stone where she sat un-aging for a year and a half.
 
Ashen Ironband the Diamond dog: Grew up alongside Misty and Brock. He will be heading into town with Misty today with dangerous news that could potentially effect the town.

Quest 1:Freeing Misty
 
@Oaken Finish, @Cinnamon Blush, @Northern Lights, @Falling Shadow, and @Tea Time take a trip to the snow mountains northwest of town!  The penguin Mep acts as their tour guide for the day, and they go sledding. Lights wrecks his sled, but is saved by their host, Starry Skies.  The rest find themselves in a crystal cavern.  Exploring more, they find a door and open it.  Finding a light puzzle and golems that could become active at any moment, and a crystallized diamond dog.  They solve it and free the dog, who was trapped for almost two years by her partner Brock.  She asks about a castle with a crystal cave underneath. They learn her name, Misty, and she promises to send information their way if she sees some danger to the town.
 
Quest 2:
 
@Oaken Finish is discussing recent happenings with the diamond dog Misty that some from the town freed from her rose quartz prison a few weeks ago.  @Ceres  and @Riversong  overhear and introduce themselves to her.  Turns out, Misty needs help clearing a way back to the town under the mountain where she came from.  They quickly agree and set off.
 
Making their way to the ruined castle where the Order of Light once resided, the ponies follow the diamond dog inside.  She claims the site is revered for being the first home of the lost diamond dogs.  Once inside, Ceres finds a white vine with special healing and purification properties, bittersage.  Misty leads them through the castle and into the mines below.
 
A sapphire golem blocks their path that wasn’t there when Misty checked last time.  It attacks Oaken and Ceres for getting too close, then stops once they’re out of range.  On closer inspection, a piece of obsidian with red runes on it is embedded into the golem’s back.  They formulate a plan and spring into action.  Ceres and Misty distract it via insults and punches while River lassos the shard and Oaken helps to pull it free.  The golem comes to its senses and offers to help them clear the way.  A “bad dog” embedded the shard they learn.  Sadly, the corruption from the shard is too great and it returns to being a pile of gems and rocks soon after to dream of the stone mother. Misty takes the shard and says farewell to their friends claiming she may know someone in her city who can help investigate the shard.

Where: The city of Brightstone, all that is known about it is that, it finds its home beneath the Crystal Mines of Castle Bright for generations. Few adventurers have even gazed upon it.
 
Why:
Rumors have been circulating through the busy steets of Outer Hayven.  After the incident of the corrupted sapphire golem, miners are reporting small black shards of obsidian found wedged into small piles of rocks in the mines and the surrounding jungle. When pulled, they don't seem to budge an inch. The guard has issued a statment telling everybody to avoid touching them or trying to remove them as further investigation takes place.
 
Hearing these rumors Misty returns to town once more with new information and a call to action. The local gossips believe she'll  be taking trusted adventurers to the diamond dog city of Brightstone.
