>Dayyyyy in Equestria. >You are Anonymous. >Three months ago, you landed in a strange new world populated by intelligent ponies. >No way home. >No shared culture. >No one knowing who or what you are. >And this is without a doubt, the best thing to ever happen to you. >Back on Earth, you had only one desire. >To be Arthur Fonzarelli. >You knew he was a character. >It didn’t matter. >You spent all your time practicing to be the Fonz. >You attended parties as the Fonz. >You were hired as a Fonz stand-in at parades. >You even married people as Fonzy. >But you knew you could never be the Fonz. >No one could be the Fonz in a world that already idolized him. >But Equestria was different. >They had no idea who the Fonz was. >And you were going to show them. > >Your greased hair shines in the sun as you pound away on your latest project. >Well, your only project. >A giant steel stallion, worthy of the Fonz. >Unfortunately, it was currently just an enormous paperweight. >Equestria had no need for internal combustion engines. >No need for petroleum. >No gas, no bike. >But it still felt good to sit on. “That’s enough for now.” >Straddling the bike, you flip your sunglasses down and grin. >This was the life. >A soft purr interrupts your peaceful moment >In the distance, a small plume of dust races towards you. >“Hey!  Nonzy!” “Scootaloo!  What’s up little filly?” >She laughs as she stops on a dime. >“Not too much.  I’m on my way to see the other Cutie Mark Crusaders.” “Got a little time for the coolest cat in Ponyville?” >“You know it!”   >She raps her hoof against the scooter, causing it to spin around behind her. >And then poof, no scooter. >She made you proud with that little move. “You’ve been practicing I see.” >She flashes you a grin. >“Ayyyyy.” >You both share a laugh. >Scootaloo climbs up onto the bike and plops down in front of you. >“Nonzy?” “What’s up, squirt?” >“Do you think I’ll ever get my cutie mark?” >You frown a little and shrug. “Well I don’t know too much about cutie marks, Scoots.  I suppose so.” >“I really wonder sometimes.” >You think for a moment, then pick the little Filly up and turn her to face you. >“H-hey!  Nonzy!” “Listen up, okay?” >She frowns put nods a little. “For a long time, I struggled to find my place, and then I found it here, somewhere I never even dreamed of.  Ponyville has been the nicest place I’ve ever met, and if I can live out my dream here, then I’m sure you’ll be able to find your cutie mark too.” >Scootaloo is grinning. >She wriggles out of your hands and launches herself at your neck. >You feel her hooves tug tight around you, causing you to cough a little in surprise. >“Nonzy, you’re the best!” “You know it squirt.  Now get on to your friends, those cutie marks aren’t gonna find themselves.” >Letting go of your neck, Scootaloo drops to the ground, and pulls the scooter from, well, you’re not sure where she keeps it. >Another rap of the knuckles and she’s on board, wings revving up. >“Stay cool, Nonzy.” “Ayyyyy.” >You wink, pointing your thumb and forefinger at the pegasus. >The purring sound begins again as she speeds off into the distance.   >As you watch the dust settle, you are left with your thoughts. >Bike work, while enjoyable, does not pay the bills. >Maybe you could look for something in the teaching sector. >Reach young minds. >Look out for them >Teach them the essence of cool. >Smiling, you lean back on your bike. >Yeah, that sounds like something Fonzy would do.
