>You are anon, and you are on your ass in the dirt. >Twilight was furious with you. >For what, you didn’t understand. >Something about needing to move out of her castle-tree thing. Or maybe it was when you spilled coffee all over her books on accident. >Whatever the reason was, you were kicked out for now. >You decided to go for a walk because you needed to let off some steam. >And you decide the best place to go to the one place where everyone says not to go. >That is, the Everfree Forest. >You found the solitude nice from time to time. The Everfree served as the best place to be when you needed to be alone. >You never went too far into the forest and you had no plans on deviating from the usual path, but any step into the forest was more than any pony would have taken. >Really, any step into the forest was a dangerous one, but you really needed time to yourself. >Just you and the sounds of nature. >The chirping birds, the rustling of leaves against your clothing… >The screams for help... >Wait, what?   “Hello?” >”Is anyone there? Help me!” >Well, there goes your quiet walk. >You look around for something to defend yourself with. >This is dangerous territory, and you’re not about to go in without a weapon. >After a bit of scrounging around, you find a broken tree branch. >It’s no claymore… but it’s heavy, so it’ll do. >When you’re ready, you rush to where you think you heard the voice. “I’m coming! Don’t move!” >”Hurry!” >You moved as quickly as the terrain would let you, nearly tripping a couple of times. >When you think you’re too far into the forest, you hear the whimpering of a little filly nearby. >She seems to be okay. A bit of dirt in her hair, but that’s to be expected. >She backs away when when you approach. You drop your club and try to calm her down. “I’m only here to help. Just tell me what happened.”  >You crouch down to get to eye level (or as close as you can get). >She sobs a bit before telling you, ”I was playing with my friends and then we got lost,” she sniffles, “...And I want my mommy.” >She’s almost to the point of wailing, now. >That would be fine if you weren’t in the danger zone. “Calm down. Everything’s going to be fine. We’ll find your friends, but you gotta stay quiet. It’s dangerous around here, okay?” >She sniffles a bit. “Okay.” >That was easier than expected. “Now where did you see them last?” >A distorted voice speaks from the background. ”Right behind you.” >You turn around to see three… pony-devil... things. >What are they, anyway? >They looked like equines, but their eyes seemed pupilless, and in lieu of a coat there was black chitin. >Not to mention the three have fangs, the horns, and wings. >You won’t be able to fight them all if you have to. It’s three to one. >A flash of green light causes you to whirl around to what was supposed to be a filly behind you, and your improvised weapon levitating above your head. >Correction: Four to o-- >WHACK
