-Applejack is a wild spirit thirsty for adventure. She has a spanish accent and wears black shoes and a black hat.
With the death of her parents she no longer had time for adventures, but
 
-Her good friend Fluttershy takes over the farm duties for her. AJ ocassionaly visits. Fluttershy is less meek and actually motherly in a non childish way. She loves gardening her cloud flowers, her ladybugs, butterflies, and acting as a mother to Applebloom. She is a confident well-spoken mature mare and often acts as the psychiatrist and mommabear of everyone, but in a less rough fat rustic manner like most mommabear archetypes.
I think I'd give her color palette some sort of white and yellow to symbolize angels and sunlight.
Her pet Angel bunny would act meek like Mortimer the mouse or would think thrice before stepping on Fluttershy's bad side.
 
-Silver Swirl(Rarity's tie-in) a tall unicorn, a descendant of princess Platinum and practically royalty. She lives in a platinum tower and has her own gem mine under it. She's kind of indifferent and a bitch at first, but she instantly turns into a noble generous paladin that stops her avaricious ways and becomes worthy of her title as princess.
 
-Lady Rainbow Dash. Has a foal of the same name who often gets mistaken for a cute little girl despite his age.
Lady Rainbow Dash earned her title by being the top flier in all of Equestria, participating and starting numerous flying teams like the comeeters, shadowbolts, sun riders, stormbolts.
She lives high up at the edge of space on a rainbow road like in Mario Kart.
She is a descendant of a long gone race of rainbow/sunlight ponies told to have been created by Celestia. Her husband is missing in action.
 
I'm thinking each pony should have an appealing human name like: Diane, Amber, Fiona, Evangeline.
 
Each pony will have a sibling tie-in because there will be two series. The younger mane6 will be like the CMC.
 
Pinkie Pie - when she isn't trying to charm you to get something and when she isn't a business horse of many shops in Equestria Pinkuus Piu's acts as the world's cupid in lovemaking, organizing weddings and getting ponies to meet each other or enhance their relationship. She is the heart and charm of the cast and the bard you'll never get tired of listening to. hmm that's horrible. Ok ok I'll keep going.
 
Twilight Galaxy
A tougher, sarcastic more cynical Twilight Sparkle voiced by anyone else but Tara Strong. This incredibly powerful character is a total badass who doesn't take shits from no one.
She often has a vengeful streak. She's a very eloquent talker who knows when to have fun, drinks, parties, joke around and when ti be serious. She can change her voice and gender at will and has a thing for little boys like Rainbow Dash junior.
Everyone feels an aura of authority out of her whenever she enters the room, even Silver Swirl and Pinkie Pie.
This is not someone you want on your bad side.
She starts off with energy in her, singing songs and partying like any pony, but often her grumpy side shows off especially when you disturb her training/reading sessions with stupid childish manners in a non-comedy relief way. She is always in the right.
 
She uses special books to project her consciousness into them and master her spells to become the next ruler of Equestria.
 
Throughout the series she loses her flaws and learns to be more benevolent and forgiving of her subjects without letting them treat her like an idiot.
She learns to act less like an asshole and more like Celestia's kinder image.
If Sparkle would have accepted bants and stupidity from her friends then the new Twilight is a Raven/Mandy/Dan Vs tie-in to asserting her superiority and demand for respect.
 
Born out of the ancient alicorn essence that died billions of years ago and revived. She is the Starscream of the show, but with the personality of Megatron and G4's Starswirl the bearded.
