And the mare would give a lil' story of how ever finding the rune, she and her friend, Dandelion, have been having sleep walking and bad things happening for the last two weeks? Hell, a good month now - at least not until she passed the cursed bit to the embassy for the removal. How weeks ago Starry and Ceres showed up and Ceres did a blood ritual on the very same demon shard. And how Ceres wanted Dandy and Tea to do another ritual because Starry was getting possessed by what Ceres here called a 'water demon', while the zebra experienced lucid dreaming about Tea's friend - Dandelion - being out there in some kind of cave. Ceres had to exorcise Starry because she was making crop circles at night and speaking in tongues and she wanted to do the same to Tea and Dandy but at the time, they refused...
 
Speaking of the cavern in question, the party, they, visited the place... which revealed to be something amazing. In short, a mysterious civilization seemed to have existed 'around these parts, leaving lots of ramnants behind themselves... it'd be difficult to believe all this if it wouldn't tie into a legend that an Equestrian captain once mentioned to Tea and Dandelion:
 
" The legend would speak of a civilization long before ponies ever united into the single nation of Equestria before and even longer before the three tribes were at war with another. There was once a civilization that had all three tribes together as one each having the quality of the other and helping each other to make great works and technology. However in their ignorance or in their arrogance they expanded from their home land far too greedily and far too quickly that it is said that the very beings that shaped the world punished them by rebuking their conquests turning their creations upon them and sending a great wave to sink their entire capital under the sea. However amongst the many ponies of this land their leader known only as Cordis channled the whole might of his race into his body to ascend into a higher plane of existance to protect his people before the final blow while their civilization sinked. From then on the remenants were said to later turn into the three pony tribes and was the underlying cause for much of the distrust between the three nations. "
 
... what the group found inside was a teleportation network, which after all the translation work indicates that it spans across the Equestria, heck, across the planet according to the coordinations on the control dials that Tea managed to translate. More so, when they teleported into one of the places, they discovered an ancient tech chamber hidden behind a locked door, in a tomb. What they discovered inside was seemingly the source of the sleeping issues to Tea, Dandy, Starry - a mare with either psychic or magic powers who was in cryostasis in a really advanced tech chamber,  The mare's hologram which was seemingly controlled by some sort of an artificial intelligence assistant explained that she was from another species who also got ponified but never found a way back to their home  they had to pull the plug on her because she was dying and getting unstable and her AI hologram who popped out told them how to do all of that. After they did that it was really touching, yet spooky as hell, but a disembodied voice from the mare, Ganos Lal warned them off and said Others were looking for her.
