MonstergirlCrossing’s Stories (from foolz archive)   Lantern Girl     You're sitting in your house, on a cool autumn day. The brisk fall wind blows past your house, as you look out the window and see leaves fluttering in the breeze. You've paused to take a quick break from straightening up your house. You've had quite a few broken knick-knacks lying around you figured you toss out. An old CRT TV that's busted, some snapped clothes hangers, an old paper lantern, and that one whale statue your aunt sent you, for whatever reasons you can't explain. You go back to cleaning, as you turn on the radio to listen to something while you work. Currently, it's a local news anchor discussing how a new gym dedicated to monsters had just opened up.   It's been 3 years since Monsters first revealed themselves to the human. There was plenty of initial shock, of course. Laws, panic, fear. Thankfully though, the controversy seemed to have gone over relatively quickly. Sure, you occasionally had those few radicals show up every now and then, but monsters had quickly proven themselves to be practically a pure benefit to society, capable of doing jobs ordinary humans normally couldn't do, at least not efficiently.   You yourself had never really interacted with any monsters, aside from the occasional passing. And the one time you almost hit a centaur while driving (Thank goodness you didn't). As you carry a box full of broken clutter to another room, you notice just out the window the local paper boy toss a newspaper to your doorstep. You weren't why you were still subscribed to the newspaper, considering the internet exists, but oh well. Might as well go and pick it up.   You set the box down, as you walk outside to pick up the newspaper. You see your neighbor, who had just married a Lamia, and wave to him. He waves back, before he notices a tail slide out his front door and seem to beckon him back inside. You chuckle, love must make people do such things. And you're sure he must tenderly love his wife.   You step back inside, and notice the lights are off. It doesn't make the house dark, considering it IS morning, but you could have sworn you left the lights on. How odd, maybe your memory isn't as good as it used to be? You reach over to a lamp, about to turn it on when you stop.   The lightbulb inside of it was completely shattered at the top, with shards of it scattered at the base of the lamp. This was very odd, you were pretty sure your lamp was fully intact this morning. And you think you would've remembered if you broke it. Hell, you can't help but wonder HOW it broke. The base of the bulb is still screwed in, with the very top smashed. It almost seemed deliberate.   You hear a crash coming from your bedroom. That certainly wasn't you. Was an animal in the house? Or a burglar? You wish you had a double barrel shotgun right now, just something to protect yourself. The best thing you could find in your living room was a broom.   You pray this intruder is just a cat, as you slowly make your way to the bedroom. You notice the door is cracked open. You always close doors behind you, it's a habit you've always had. You had no doubt in your mind now that someone was in that room. You still hoped it was only a cat that had evolved oppossable thumbs. Making one final prayer to God, Budda, Ilias, or whoever you believe in, you crack the door open a little more, just enough for you to slip in, and enter your bedroom.   Your bedroom was normally a rather tidy place. Some things were out of place, but overall you'd say it was clean. Right now though, it looked trashed. The box of junk you had been collecting, preparing to throw out was all over the floor. And that little whale you had put in there was now right in the middle of your floor. Great, you thought that was the last you'd see of it.   Over by your lamp though, you saw her. The intruder, who seemed to be bent over, looking at your now-broken lamp. A lamp, you presumed she broke. The intruder was obviously a girl, you could tell this from her obviously feminine figure. Her clothes were odd, you presumed they were oriental. She seemed to have some sort of hook on the top of her head, for what or why, you had no idea. She looked very bizarre, she certainly wasn't anything you'd seen before.   The intruder then turned her head to you, which made you jump a little. She had seemed so still when you were looking over her earlier, that her sudden movement seemed unnatural. Though, what seemed to be even more unnatural was her expression. You had expected your intruder to be angry, or shocked at the fact they were discovered. But not her. She seemed to be... Smiling. But not a warm smile, something far more cold and sinister than that. It was twisted.   "There we go! Such an inferior little thing that was! But don't worry, I got rid of it for you..."   A wave of annoyance swept through you when she dismissed your lamp as 'inferior'. "That 'inferior little thing' is what I used to read in my bed at night." You bluntly stated. You had no idea why this girl seemed to think she was helping you by breaking in and smashing your light sources, but you obviously weren't too happy with this turn of events.   The girl gave a chuckle. But not one of jubilee, but rather just... creepiness. It certainly replaced your previous annoyance with uneasiness. "Well, don't worry now. I'll make sure your bed is nice and bright..." She stretched that last syllable, as her eyes gazed up and down your body. You could feel yourself being examined by her. And it was far from comfortable.   "Well, just-How did you get in here anyways?" You stutter a bit, trying to think of what to say. The whole situation was peculiar, you weren't entirely how to react to her. The girl seemed to have a pained look on her face after you said that, but it quickly went back to her eerie smile. "Goodness, you don't recognize me? Why, I've always been in here, your faithful paper lantern..."   Paper... Lantern? Oh yeah, that thing. You had bought it from Wal-Mart when it was on sale for $5. You had considered using it once for a party, but you never did. And earlier today you were gonna throw it out. You never knew they could turn into beautiful women. Technology never ceases to amaze you!   The Lantern Girl spoke once more, interrupting your recollection of your purchase. "I've been here, always waiting, always yearning for a chance to be used, but you never seemed to give it to me." She took a step closer. You took a step back. "But don't worry, not that you have nothing else to use, I'm the only light in your life now~"   You took another step away from her, but found that you were out of room to step back to, and ended up falling back on your bed. The Lantern girl quickly pinned you down to it with her hands, as she gazed lustfully at your face.   "Hey... Do you want to know how tsukumogami like me fuel our fires?" No, not particularly. "When we transcend into spirits, we no longer use oil. Instead, we need... Passion." And with that rather cheesy line, she locked lips with, while keeping you firmly on the bed. You struggled a bit to get her off, but found she was much stronger than she appeared. Either that, or you really needed to start pumping iron.   The girl finally lifted her head away from yours, as you took in a breath. Well, that wasn't too bad, you thought. Though- Wait, you noticed she began to pull your pants off. What was she- Sudden realization came to you, as you struggled again, trying to escape. quickly, the lantern girl locked lips again, bringing your head back done, as she reaffirmed her grip on you.   Moving her hips, you couldn't deny the fact this felt really good. It felt REALLY good. But you still had no intention of giving up. You tried to resist, and tried to get her off of you. The girl lifted her head away from yours, giving you a rather souless smile. "You know, if you keep struggling, you'll just make this go faster..." She said, still moving her hips. Finally, you couldn't resist no more. You let out a gasp, as she did too. Though her's was accompanied by her body suddenly turning a bright red, illuminating the entire room with a vivid warm glow.   "Well see? I told you, am I not superior to what lanterns you had before?" The girl said, in a very sing-song tone, as if she was in absolute bliss after what had just happened. She released you as she floated to the center of your room, to show off just how bright she could be. "Can't you see? This is my purpose! To bring light to the world! And it's because of you I'm able to do so!" You gave a weak smile. As traumatic as that was, the girl did seem rather happy. And it did make you feel nice to think that you were responsible for making someone so happy. Perhaps this girl wasn't as creepy as you thought her to be.   "And that's why I must keep you here with me forever~" Well, looks like you spoke too soon. The Lantern girl grabbed the broom you had dropped previously, holding it firmly in both hands. "Before, I couldn't serve my purpose. I was left in the dark, and in doing so others were too. And you were going to discard me because of that. So, if I keep you here with me, and make you ignite my fire, I'll never have to worry about being discarded again!" Then, quite swiftly, she wacked your head with the wooden end of the broom. It was quite painful. As the world goes black around you, you hear her say a few words before you go out.   "Don't worry, I'll take good care of you..."   It's been roughly 6 months since that day. You woke up to find yourself tied to your bed, with the Lantern Girl sitting by your side, feeding you, reading to you, and reigniting herself every few days. She managed to convince the local authorities that she's the new owner of your house, and that you've moved out. How she managed to do so, you aren't entirely sure. You've given up resisting a long time ago, you learned it was easier to just do as she says. If you're good she'll even let you roam the house once in a while.   The Lantern Girl isn't that bad anyways, at least, not after you got to know her. She often does nice stuff for you, and takes care of you. Whether it's Stockholm Syndrome, or genuine love, you're not entirely sure.   Sometimes, when you roam the house, you'll look out a window, which has been sealed shut and boarded up. You can't see outside, but you know that out there there's a big light in the sky, and part of you longs for it's warmth again. But the other part of you is fine.   There's a new light in your life now.   ~END~   Sand Worm Girl   You wiped your forehead with a washcloth, trying to cool yourself off. It was particularly hot where you were. Where were you exactly? Death Valley, the hottest and driest place in all of North America. You had simply gone there to visit for vacation, but you had taken one too many steps off the beaten path, and now you were lost.   You sighed, as you took a sip of water from your water bottle. How wonderful to be lost in such a place on what felt like the hottest day of the year? Oh well, as long as you kept heading east, you figured you'd hit civilization or something in no time. After using you washcloth once more to wipe the sweat from your forehead, you continued eastward.   On your march forward, you could have sworn you saw something appear and disappear far into the distance. Every time it would seem to just appear and disappear so suddenly. It was always far away, so you could never get a good look at it. Perhaps it was a rabbit, or a snake. Or heck, maybe it was the desert heat messing with your mind. All of those were quite valid possibilities.   Around the 6th time you saw it, it appeared bigger. Was whatever it was getting closer. Much quicker than before, it appeared again. It was a blur, but you could see it was appearing and disappearing. Whatever it was seemed to be going above ground and below ground. It surfaced again, much closer, you could see whatever it was, it had a rough looking exterior, almost like a shell. It surfaced again, when you came to a startling realization; Whatever this thing was was coming closer. Closer to you.   Realizing the potential danger you were in, you made a sharp 180 turn, and ran as fast as your legs could carry you, not daring to look behind you. You couldn't see it now, but you knew it was still pursuing you. You could feel the ground below you shake, pebbles vibrating beneath your feet as you ran. It almost seemed like an earthquake. You then began to hear sand behind you move, you could hear the creature jumping in and out of the sand. This only served to motivate you to run faster, to try and outrun that creature, however vain your efforts seemed.   Finally though, it went quiet. No longer could you hear the massive uproar of sand behind you. No longer could you feel the earth shake beneath you. Your running slowed to a pause. Had the creature given up? Were you safe? You collapsed to the ground, your adrenaline fading, as the world around you made itself known.   You panted heavily, your body ached from the marathon you ran, sweat poured down your face. You reached down to grab your washcloth and water bottle, only to find them no longer on your person. Had you lost them during the chase? Either way, it sucked, as your head hit the ground, gasping for air, and longing for drink. You closed your eyes, no longer paying attention to the world around you.   You never noticed the ground below you shake once more. And you never as shocked as when the monster emerged beneath you, and swallowed you whole.   You blinked, in a state of shock, having trouble processing what had just happened. It all seemed to happen so fast. One minute you were resting, the next minute, you were in here. ... Where were you exactly? Was this hell? It was dark, but you could make out around you pink walls of flesh. Soft, moist, and cool, it was much different from the desert outside. A bit cramped too, you didn't have much room in there. But not too cramped, to the point of your body being crushed. The best way you could describe it was like a giant sleeping bag in where you were.   Giant Moist Sleeping Bag wasn't the typical description of hell, so you assumed you weren't dead. At least, not yet. You appeared to be inside the beast. You sighed, and leaned against one of the fleshy walls. First getting lost in the most dangerous place in 'Murica, now being devoured by a giant monster, today was not your day.   Leaning against the flesh, however, quickly proved to be a mistake, as the liquid lining it became attached to your clothing. Slowly, it began to dissolve your favorite fiber by fiber. You panicked, were you being digested? Was this the end of you? As liquid fell on your skin, you braced yourself for a burning sensation, but thankfully, nothing came. It appeared to be harmless. Well, to you, that is. It wasn't so nice to your clothing, dissolving every last fabric you wore.   So now, you were naked, in the wet fleshy inside of a monster. You had seen better days. However, what appeared next did brighten your day, at least a little bit...   The wall of flesh in front of you moved around. You noticed it twist and turn in what was quite an odd manner. Finally, what emerged right in front of you was quite peculiar to you, to say the least.   It was a woman, made from the same flesh-like material the walls were. She had long hair(or at least, what was supposed to be hair), stretching down to well past her waist. What appeared to be her breasts were voluptuous and round, complimenting her small waist. All in all, what was in front of you was a very attractive woman, pink, moist, and barely 3 inches away from you.   She put both of her hands on your shoulders, pinning to to the wall, as she sized you up. You were too stunned from this turn of events, and simply stayed still. She gazed over your body, as if making sure you were fine, before she smiled. Gently, she pressed her lips against yours, closing her eyes while doing so. At first, you were shocked, this mute woman suddenly giving you affection, but you quickly succumbed to her, and closed your eyes. Her kiss was just so tender, so refreshing, a stark contrast to the harsh desert you had been in earlier. You wrapped your arms around her cool body, as she withdrew from the kiss and smiled, clearly pleased with you.   The woman slide down, making sure her smooth moist body grazed your's just lightly enough. She was than at eye level with your penis. Well goodness, this was bound to escalate quickly, wasn't it? Not that you were complaining, you were enjoying this greatly, eager to see where it leaded. Grinning, the girl opened her mouth, surrounding it with her mouth.   You let out a moan. It was nothing like anything you had ever experience. She had no teeth in her mouth, allowing her to grip your penis firmly in her mouth, without causing pain. And her entire mouth just felt like one big tongue, soft, wet, and moving gently but firmly up and down your cock. No, this was nothing like you had experienced before. This was ecstasy.   You leaned against the wall of wet flesh behind you, your state of bliss putting a wide smile on your face, your constant moans as the woman slowly sped up, the feeling so perfect. Eventually, you couldn't hold it in any longer, and released. The woman, raised herself back up, looking as magnificent as ever, and grabbed you towards her, embracing you with a hug. You hugged her back, your arms wrapped around her wet flesh, your head resting on her large breasts.   It felt like that moment, in all it's perfection, lasted forever.   Finally, the pink woman looked upwards, her head tilted in a state of thought. You looked to her, curious of what on earth she was thinking. Finally, she nodded, and turned her head to you, giving you a smile. But it wasn't the same smile as earlier, it seemed more depressed, more sad. You a felt worry overcome you. What was going on?   Suddenly, a bright light appeared in a hole above the two of you. You looked away, the sudden brightness irritating your eyes. When you had adjusted your eyes, you noticed the walls of flesh slowly push you towards the light...   You landed on black pavement, bumping your head on your not-so-graceful landing. Rubbing your head, you stood up, and looked around you. You were in the desert again, though at least not in the middle. On a road, specifically, which, judging from the roadsign that said 'Ridgecrest, .5 Miles', lead to civilization. And finally, in front of you. was a giant Sandworm, sticking it's head above the sand, gazing down at you. And inside it's mouth, the pink woman smiled down at you, waving good bye. As you waved good bye, the giant sand worm closed it's mouth, before returning back into the sand. You felt the ground vibrate below you, and stood there, waiting until you could no longer feel the vibrations.   Feeling rejuvenated, and also knowing where to go, you began to follow to road, heading towards the small town ahead, where you would pick up clothes and find a place to rest. This was a very worthwhile trip, and you definitely planned to return to Death Valley soon. Maybe you'd bring a ring with you too...   ~END~   White Lamia   The early summer days are some of the greatest out there. This you knew, and were currently bearing witness too, as you strolled down the dirt path, through a forest. The trees were bright green, birds chirping throughout them. The temperature wasn't to hot, but warm enough to feel the sunlight as it gently fell on your skin. It was a picturesque as a day could possibly be.   Eventually, you arrived at your destination. A rather large pond, that sparkled a deep blue. It was the perfect destination to relax at. You've had such a long week after all, you deserved a break. You sat in the grass, a few feet away from the water's edge, and pulled out a sandwich, and a small radio, setting it to play some smooth mellow jazz.   Pure relaxation was achieved, as you took the first bite of your sandwich. All the worries back at home seemed to melt away. Work, family, those errands you needed to finish, all of it seemed to be irrelevant to there and now. You were enjoying this moment, and fully intended to make it last as long as possible.   You looked across the lake and noticed a man with a slime girl, enjoying a picnic together. You didn't expect anyone else man dating a monster girl. Monster Girls always did fascinate you, though you never knew why. Perhaps how exotic, or dangerous? Regardless, they were a subject that intrigued you. Though, unlike that man across the lake, you probably wouldn't date a slime. Call it prejudiced, but you remember hearing a story online of how a slime killed a whole family to be with a man. You weren't a big fan of killing. It was one of your least favorite things in the world.   As you watched the couple pack their stuff up and leave, you took another bite of your sandwich. Well, looked like you were alone there once again. Or so you thought, as you heard branches move behind you...   You turned behind you and saw approaching you. Who it was was not someone you expected. It was a rather pale woman, who was probably albino, with white hair that went down past her waist, and eyes an alluring shade of red. Her clothing has quite elegant, embellished with blue ribbons on it as if to reaffirm it's worth. Her clothing too, was white. The only person that could possibly be whiter than this girl was Vanilla Ice.   Though... She did have something quite peculiar about her. Well, very peculiar. The entire lower half of her body was that of a serpent, with scales that shined and glistened in the sun. As expected, that was white too.   "Hello there." She greeted, in a very calm manner, as she slithered closer to you. "I... Couldn't help but notice you have such wonderful tastes in music. Mind if I ask you your name?" Unable to resist her elegance, you introduced yourself, explaining who you were, and why you were there. As you explained, the woman smiled, while listening very closely to every word you said, not letting one detail get past her. Finally, when you finished, she introduced herself.   "I'm a Shirohebi, a race of albino lamia that have a mastery over the element of water." And she too tells you about herself. You listen, finding her quite captivating. She's probably the most interesting person you've talked to in a long time. Eventually, after the two of you chat away, you notice the sun begin to set. Where have the hours gone? If you don't head home now, you won't get back home before nightfall.   "Wait..." The Shirohebi says, pausing you before you leave. "Could you... Please return here tomorrow? I do enjoy our talk, and would love to have more..."   Unfortunately, circumstances are cruel, and your work keeps you very busy. Visiting the lake on your day off once in a while is possible, but making a trip here on work days just isn't feasible for you. You tell her that unfortunately, you can, but perhaps maybe you'll visit n your next day off. The snake girl is visibly saddened by this answer, and simply mumbles low and under her breath "Oh... Alright..." And slithers off into the bushes. You feel a bit sad that was the best you could tell her, but oh well. It couldn't be that big of a deal, right?   Two days pasted since your day off, and your back to your work schedule. And after a long day of working your fingers to the bone, dealing with loud bosses, and having to explain to soccer moms why their son's x-box doesn't play Pokemon, despite the fact you work at a mattress store, you are tired and ready to retire in your humble abode. Maybe you'll catch up on your backlog of anime tonight?   As you approach your house, however, you see someone at your front door. You don't have guess over, who was this? As you approach them, they turn around, and the sight of their white hair quickly reveals their identity. "Oh, hello!" The snake girl greets, waving happily towards you.   You ask her why she's there, an answer to which she happily provides."Oh, you see, I know how busy you are with your work, so I decided instead of you visiting me every day, I'd stay here with you! That way, you can always return to me easily! Isn't this a wonderful solution?   At first you're abrasive to the idea. After all, some girl you barely know staying in your home would be kind of awkward. "Oh, please let me stay! I'll clean up after you, I'll do the dishes, I promise I'll be nothing but an asset! Please?!" After an hour of discussion, her pleas finally get to you. With her constant promises of helping you out, and being kind, you can't help but submit to her charms. You allow her to stay in the guest room, news to which she joyfully cheers to hearing.   The next morning, you wake up to the smell of bacon. Your carnivore instincts guide you to the kitchen, where the Shirohebi girl is dressed in a kitchen apron, making pancakes and bacon for you. Your breakfast usually consists of stale captain crunch (Without any Milk) and maybe a pop tart if you're feeling extra hungry. So a meal like this is certainly nothing you intend to pass up. As you head out the door, she quickly hands you a small bagged lunch, before waving you good bye.   When lunch break finally arrives at work, you sit down at a table. Normally you just pick up McDonalds, so a bagged lunch is quite the treat. You look into the bag, and find inside a sandwich cut into triangles with the crust cut off, an apple, and 6 homemade chocolate chip cookies. There's also a note inside. You pull it out and read it, admiring how well written the cursive is.   >Dear Anon,   >Hope you liked my lunch! Specially made for you, the sandwich is the same one you had at the lake! Make sure to keep working hard, I'm rooting for you!   >~<3   The food inside certainly tasted delicious. Good food, motivational notes, and an overall kind demeanor, the snake girl was much better than you gave her credit for earlier. Perhaps you could get used to this arrangement...   After punching in the clock, and saying good bye to the rest of the staff, you head home, where you're greeted to a delicious home cooked dinner unlike anything you've had before. After the two of you watch a movie together, you both head off to bed.   This pattern continues for a while, going to work, eating lunch, reading note, going home, eating, rinse and repeat. And it's a wonderful arrangement. Though, sometimes some of the notes you get seem a bit... Off. You recall some of the notes you've received in the past, like   >Dear Anon,   >If you ever feel lonely, keep your head up! And remember, I'm always there for you! Always always always always always!   >~<3   >Dear Anon,   >Don't worry about anyone making your job painful! I'll make sure they get their retribution!   >~<3   >Dear Anon,   >I noticed you were talking to that one female coworker of your's. Please don't, she's nothing but trouble.   That was another odd thing, she never liked the girl you worked with. You never understood why, she seemed like an OK person. You never confronted her about any of these problems though, you didn't wish to cause any drama. Drama was your second least favorite thing in the world.   One day, during lunch, your female coworker approaches you. "Hey there. Me and a few of the other guys are gonna go bowling tonight? Wanna come? Just, keep it secret, I don't want the boss finding out and wanting to come too..." Well, you normally went straight home afterwards, but the promise of bowling was tempting...   As much fun as bowling sounds, you decline the invitation. After all, there's dinner waiting at home for you, you don't want to let it get cold. The female coworker simply shrugs, and joins her friends. As you look into your bag, and read your daily note, you see the cursive written a bit less fancy than usual.   >Dear Anon,   >I'd like to talk with you when you get home. Thank you.   >~<3   Hmm. Well, thank goodness you didn't agree to go bowling, then you'd have kept her waiting. And that might have made her sad, or something. Regardless, keeping her waiting was a crisis averted, and not something you'd have to worry about.   After work, you get home, where your greeted to a very fancy meal laid out just perfectly. Not a flaw in it, extra care was taken to lay it out, you can tell. The Snake Girl, though... Seems a bit tense. Usually calm, today her hair seemed a bit out of place, her clothing with a few wrinkles in it. She had a smile, but it wasn't a warm one, it seemed more... Fake.   You sit at the table, and ask her just what she wanted to talk about, while eyeing the delicious chicken sitting a few inches away on the table. The Shirohebi takes a deep breath, and begins...   "Anon, I've been with you here for a while. And-And I've been working hard constantly to make sure everything went your way. I-I made all your meals, I cleaned up any mess you made here. What-What I'm trying to say is..." She looked down at the floor, pausing. "I-I LOVE YOU ANON!" She had shouted that with so much energy, you were shocked. She was normally such a calm and serene girl, you didn't expect her to say something like that so loudly. You can't help but wonder how long she had kept that built up in here.   "I've loved you since the day we first met, out by the lake. And I've done all I can in hopes you'd reciprocate that love. I watched you, I studied you, I protected you... Why-Why don't you love me back?" She was always a very nice girl, you couldn't say you hated her. Yes, you could see yourself in a relationship with her? You thought you had feelings for her! And so you try to tell her that you love her too-   "BULLSHIT, DON'T LIE!" She screeches that, making you fall out of your seat in pure shock. Her yelling was shocking, but never in your life had you heard her swear. Ever. Her face is slightly red from shouting, with tears beginning to come out of her eyes. "You're always off at that damned job of yours. I barely get to spend time with you. The whole reason I moved in with you was to spend more time with you. But the only time I get to spend with you is when I cook food you stay at home." Her voice is cracking, she's visibly shaken from all she's said.   "Please, just please... Tell me what I need to do for you to love me..."   You were at a loss of words. You hadn't seen this coming, you hadn't expected her to have such a sudden outburst. For who was normally a serene snake, now she seemed to angry and broken. "TELL ME!" She shouted that, slamming her tail on the floor, desperate for an answer. And answer you didn't know to give.   You thought about what she said. She had done so much for you. She was always there to help and assist however possible. And with how stressful work had been, her constant support was an Ilias-send. She was always there for you. But... You couldn't think of many times you were there for her.   Finally, you lift yourself off the ground, and stare straight into her eyes, puffy from her tears. And you apologize. You apologize for failing to give her attention, you apologize for not helping her out as much as she did, you apologize for not making her feel as special as she made you. And you ask her if maybe she can give you a chance to redeem yourself, to give you one more chance, and that you promise not to let her down this time and prove your love.   She looks at you for what feels like an eternity, before she finally breaks down, sobbing, and burying her face in your chest. You embrace her, rubbing her back to comfort her as she cries on you. Finally, she looks up to your face, and says with sincerity "Yes, lets... Lets try again." As she says that, you smile, and hold her closer for a kiss, which she happily accepts, coiling her tail around you in loving embrace.   It was a moment that would last forever...   ~HAPPY END~   Salamander   You walked further down the damp, dark cave, the only light and warmth in there being the torch you held in your hand. This was it, the moment you had been training for. After years of practicing swordplay, studying exploration methods, and preparing you equipment, you were finally going on your first actual 'adventure'.   Heading deeper into the darkness, you recapped what your mission was in your head. There was supposedly a rare treasure hidden deep in the depths of the cave, guarded by a mighty monster. Perhaps you could have chosen an easier mission, but it was either this, gather mushrooms, or retrieve a pig's pearl. And none of those seemed quite heroic. After waiting so long, you longed to accomplish something great, and you knew you could succeed at this. It was your destiny. You had to emerge from this cave victorious.   As you pressed on forwards, you noticed the air around you feel less humid. Water no longer dripped from the ceiling, and the puddles that were constantly at your feet become less and less frequent. You wiped some sweat from your brow, as you noticed a warm light coming from ahead. An opening out of the cave? No, you were far to deep underground. You knew what this was, and cautiously headed towards it.   You entered the room, greeted by the immense heat inside. The room itself was bright, and burning hot, a stark contrast to the rest of the cave. It's ceiling was far above your head, Stalactites hanging high above. And the floor was simply a vast expanse of lava, with rock formations sticking high above it, forming platforms. You decided to stay on said platforms, as the fall below seemed quite unpleasant.   Continuing forward, you eyes began to scan your surroundings more thoroughly. If there was any place to hide a treasure, deep in a lava filled room would certainly be the place. You also kept a hand by your sword. Whatever monster was down here must have been something with an affinity for heat. Slimes, Plants, and most other monsters wouldn't be able to stand this heat. You yourself couldn't remain down here much longer.   After a few minutes, you eventually sat down, needing to rest. You opened your water pouch, and splashed some across your face. The momentary relief the water brought felt simply divine. However, your relaxation was brought to a swift end, as a voice announced it's presence.   "So, another warrior enters my domain?"   You turned around, to find yourself in the presence of what you could only assume was the monster. Though to be honest, you were expecting more of a monster, though the creature before you seemed more like, well, a girl. She looked a lot like a human, though she had the feet and hands of a dragon, with large, rough scales decorating them. Her skin appeared a rusty red color, with her scales being a much darker crimson red. Behind her legs you could see her tail, which almost appeared like it was on fire. You knew what kind of monster she was, you had read about her kind in books long ago.   She was a Salamander Girl, reptilian humanoids born in lava, capable of surviving the depths of hell itself.   You rushed to get on your feet, not wishing to look foolish in front of the first monster you ever met. As you did, she began to speak once more.   "I'll have to admit, I've been growing tired of waiting. Sitting here all day and night grows quite tiring. Anyways, I'll assume you're here for this-" She unsheathed the blade at her side, showing it to you. It was a sharp, long sword, that shined and glistened in the light. Along the blade you could see decorative carvings on it, to show it's status and beauty. The hilt of it was golden, with jewels encrusted in it. That was the treasure you were seeking. You nodded your head, as she chuckled at your silence.   "Yes, this blade has been in my family for quite some time. My great-grandmother won it after dueling a king and winning. Since then, many have challenged to try and take the blade for their families, but all have failed. Nonetheless, people still try, and it wouldn't be honorable to turn down a challenge." She then backed up, as she held her sword outwards, pointed at you. "So, if you wish to be the hero to win this blade, than pull out your's, and show me what you've got!"   Well, looked like you were challenged to your first fight. You quickly drew your sword, and pointed it likewise. The both of you stood still for a few moments, sizing each other up. Viewing her while standing up, you could see a few more details then before. She appeared around 6 ft., slightly taller than you. She had a slim-yet-muscular build. She was in very good shape, from what you could only have presumed to be from training, and battles in her past. You could see a smug grin on her face. It seemed she was expecting this to be a quick battle.   You gulped nervously. This was going to be your first 'real' duel. The closest thing you had before to this was practice sparring with the village elder, who was in his 70s. This was going to be your first actual battle, no holding back. You partially considered leaving and coming back later, but you wouldn't have time to execute that plan, as she began to run towards you.   You stood your ground, as she took the first swing. You raised your sword, blocking it. Her sword bounced off it, and quickly headed towards your side. You were able to block that sword as well, only to find her swinging for your other side. This wasn't good, you were stuck in a defensive position. You couldn't stay like this forever, eventually she would swing faster when you grew too slow, or you might misjudge where she'd hit next. You had to go for an offensive state, and fast.   You quickly sidestepped, moving herself to her left, and tried to aim for her side, but found it blocked, as she turned to match you, her blade going right back to offense.   The duel continued. How long, you weren't sure. It felt like hours, though you knew that wasn't the case. The strain of battle, the heat of the lava, the occasional cut, it was slowly beginning to take it's toll on you. Your opponent, however, was a different story.   She seemed just as eager and energetic as when you started the fight, if not more. Her smug grin had since turned into one of pleasure though, enjoying every time your blade blocked her's. Never once did she seem to slow down, never once did she falter, never once did she seem to tire. Her flames on her tail simply burned far more intensely. There was no doubt in your mind she was skilled at what she was doing.   You let loose a final swing, pouring all of your strength and passion you had left into it, only to have it swiftly blocked. Your sword bounced off of her's, and fell through your hands, as it slide across the ground. The Salamander held a sword to your throat. It was over. Game. Set. Match. You had lost.   You looked at her face, she seemed quite pleased with her victory, her flames burning brightly behind her. "That was quite an impressive fight. Most people fall much quicker than you did. Hmmm, how much experience have you had?" You admit to her that you've mostly trained at home, and fighting her was your first official duel as an adventurer. Her eyes widen a bit at that news. "Really? You fight much better than what I'd expect from a first. Don't get me wrong, your technique needs improvement, as well as your agility, but you do have quite a bit of natural skill..." She pauses for a moment, lowering her sword, putting a claw to her face to think.   "... Very well, it's decided! I'll be your mentor and help you improve my love!"   You were shocked at her sudden notion. You quickly questioned her sudden love, as well as her apparent decision to be your mentor. "Well, my idea is a beneficial one to both of us, isn't it?" She begins.   "I join you on whatever adventures you go on, getting to leave this cave and explore the world. And I teach you along the way, training you to be a better swordsman. And eventually one day you'll be able to defeat me, so I can finally reward you with this." She flashes the sword so you can see it, and tilts it so you get a perfect view of it's patterns. "And somewhere along the way you fall in love with me, and we can get married and live together forever. So see? We both profit from this. So what do ya say? Deal?" She sheathed her sword, as she extended her claw out to you.   You thought for a moment. It did seem like a beneficial deal, and having a second party member was sure to be wonderful. But you still didn't fully understand why she loved you all of the sudden. Then again, you supposed you were lucky. You had heard tales of Monster Girls falling in love with a man, and abducting them to spend forever in their lair. It was nice she seemed to be giving you a choice, and wanting to wait till you loved her too.   The whole arrangement seemed odd. But then again, you supposed you would have to get used to odd things if you wanted to be an adventurer. You decided to shake her claw, sealing the deal. She smiled, excited for whatever laid ahead of the two of you. "Don't worry, I promise you won't regret this!"   And so the two of you set off on journeys and adventures few could ever dream of experiencing. Recovering a lost painting from years ago and returning it to a museum where it belonged? Check. Preventing the collapse of time itself? Check. Slaying a demonic entity of pure evil? Check. ending the rule of a corrupt pharaoh? Check.   Along the many adventures you took, the Salamander Girl would always have your back, never once leaving your side, consistently risking her life for you, and you for hers. On your off time, she does her best to train you, and improve your skills, which have drastically improved since you began. You occasionally challenge her to a duel, though each time she still emerges victorious.   You, of course, did fall in love with her eventually, much to her pleasure. Now married, with a lovely Salamander daughter, the two of you have retired from adventuring, at least for a while, and contently live on all the treasures you've amassed since.   However, there is still one treasure you're interested in getting, as you grab your sword and ready it. Your wife grins, readying her's, as your daughter sits in the sidelines, not wanting to have to side between the two of you she cheers the both of you on. You then begin your swing, as you hope this'll be the duel you win.   ~END~   Yukki-Onna – A warm dinner   Mountain hiking wasn't something you normally did. It was long, taxing, and involved physical movement. If someone asked you to go mountain hiking before, you would normally say no. However, your boss had other plans for you. He was having some higher ups accompany him on a mountain hiking trip. Normally this wouldn't concern you, however your boss needed a pack mule to carry their supplies for the trip. Naturally, he chose you for the job.   So you joined him, and several other bosses. Each of them handed their equipment for you to carry, much to your chagrin. As they walked up the mountain path, with you trailing behind, you listened silently to their conversations. About how their last golf game went, about what their wives cooked at home, about all kinds of things that didn't interest you.   You were growing bored out of your mind fast. You were sure if you didn't get some decent mental stimulation soon, you'd go brain dead right there on the path. For better or for worse, your wish would come true...   The wind around you began to pick up, a cold winter breeze blowing through the trees. Soon, snow followed. It started off mild, but began to pick up. Faster.   And faster.   And faster.   There was no mistaking it. You were caught in the middle of a snow storm. With 5 crusty old men. You always had a feeling it would end like this, you just hadn't expected it to come so soon. You boss turned to you, and yelled that they were going to return to the resort, and for you to follow them. Which you obeyed, obviously. They began to walk, but much to your shame, they were walking at quite a brisk pace. And, with you carrying what felt like a ton of supplies, you lagged behind. The constant snow wasn't helping you either.   Eventually, you noticed they were beginning to shrink. Slowly, they faded and disappeared. You had lost them. You looked to the ground, hoping that maybe you could make out the gravel path. But unfortunately, snow blocked your way. You moved some, hoping that beneath it you could find some sign of a path, but only found grass. Snow quickly filled in the hole you made, as you looked around, trying to find some bearing, trying to notice something recognizable, anything.   But it was no use. All that was around you was gray and swirling white. You were hopelessly lost in a blizzard. You sighed, cursing your luck. You could have really used a hug right then...   You decided to walk in the direction you last saw your boss heading. Or at least where you thought he was heading. Was it this direction? Doubt clouded your mind, as you tried to get a grip on your surroundings.   You found a boulder sticking out of the snow, and headed towards it to use as a bearing. It was covered with frost, but you could look beneath and notice there was moss on the left side of it. You remember hearing once on Spongebob that moss always pointed to civilization. While you doubted it was true, it was your best chance right now.   And so you walked in the direction the moss pointed you too. Occasionally you would turn when you approached a tree, or the wind picked up too much, but you tried to stay heading in one direction. Or, at least you thought you were.   Eventually, you saw something in the distance. You could barely make it out. Was it the resort? Tears of happiness came to you, as you rushed over to it. However, they would soon be met with tears of despair as you saw the true nature of it.   It was the same boulder from before.   You let out a profanity, cursing nickelodeon for broadcasting lies, as you fell to your knees. It was getting far too cold, you needed to find some way to keep warm, anything. Interrupting your panic-filled thoughts, a voice spoke from behind you.   "Ara ara, you look tired and cold. Need some help traveler?"   You turned you head around, to see a human standing behind you. You couldn't really make her out in the snow flying around you, but you could make out that they had a slender, feminine figure. While you couldn't see much, you still preferred seeing her look over the boulder. She spoke again, having to raise her voice to be audible in the snowstorm. "Come now darling, how about we get you to my home. It's much warmer there than out here." She said, as she extended her hand, offering it to help you up.   You were freezing, and had no intentions of arguing with her, so you took her hand, as she pulled you up to the ground. You put an arm over you as she guided you in a direction. You wondered if she even knew where she was going. After all, you got lost so easily, how would she find a way through this blizzard?   However, you found yourself proven wrong, as in the distance, you could make out a small building. As the two of you approached it, it became quite clear. It was a small cottage, what you would stereotypical find in mountains. Wooden, chimney, it had the works. You could see in the window a warm glow coming from inside the house. A fire? You could only presume. You longed for it's warm embrace, as the two of you stepped on the house's porch, the woman pulling out a key ring, unlocking the door. The process felt like an eternity, but eventually, she pulled the key out from the door, and opened it.   You felt a wave of warmth flow over you when the door was opened. Not skipping a beat, you entered the cabin and collapsed on the couch, closing your eyes to relax. You heard the door being closed and locked, and footsteps pass you. You could feel the heat from the fireplace across from you on your face and body, and it felt wonderful. Heavenly. Like Ilias herself dropped from the heavens and kissed your cheek.   "Now, I'm sure your hungry after being out there for so long, would you care for some dinner? I'd be more than glad to make a meal for my guest..." You heard the voice say from a different room. You opened your eyes, and got off the couch, not wishing to look too foolish. You replied that you would love to have some food. After all, you hadn't eaten recently. Your response was answered with some giggles. "Very well then, sit in the dining room, I'll be right out..."   The room right next to the living room had a large table, with dishes already set out, silverware arranged, and two seats right across from each other. You assumed it was the dining room, as you took your seat there. It was a bit odd how everything was already arranged, but you weren't too concerned. Maybe she had set it up quickly while you were on the couch, or maybe she was expecting another visitor. Quite frankly, you weren't too concerned. You were cold and she gave you warmth and food. You had no intentions of looking a gift horse in the mouth.   You sat in your seat, hearing cooking going on in the other room, pots and pans stirring about. The door to this kitchen room was closed, so you couldn't see the magic. But it sounded like she was cooking furiously in there. You were sure the meal approaching you would be quite delicious. You leaned back in your chair, when a realization hit you; You had lost all the stuff you were carrying. You thought a few mental swears, before eventually settling on "oh well". You had almost died, if your boss was angry, fuck him.   After a few minutes of waiting, the door finally opened, and your host appeared in the doorway. She was a bit different from what you had expected. Her skin was a pale blue, her hair long and white. She wore a blue dress, which seemed quite fancy. You were a bit shocked, and part of you wanted to ask what she was. But, the other part didn't wish to offend her since she was carrying your meal.   And what a meal it appeared to be. Cooked Salmon. You knew the fish was native to these parts, so it likely fresh too. You could smell the delicious meal from your seat. She cut a few slices and placed them on your plate, before placing a few on her's. She then took her seat.   You almost inhaled your meal, having been starving and cold, you welcomed the warm fish into your mouth. However, you noticed the woman across from you barely touched her meal. She held her fork half-heartedly at it, mostly staring at you, smiling while doing so. It was, quite honestly, a bit unnerving. Finally, she spoke up. "So, tell me about yourself." She asked, the tone of her voice indicating she was very interested in your response.   So, obliging your host, you told her your name. You explained your job, what you liked, what you were doing down there, and how you ended up being lost in the blizzard. Throughout your story, the woman listened intently. Eventually, you ran out of things to talk about. You hadn't considered yourself too interesting, but she seemed quite pleased with the information. "My my, you are quite the lovely person. Well, if I had to choose anyone to rescue from a blizzard, rested assured it'd be you." You weren't sure whether to find those words comforting or ominous.   "So, did you enjoy the meal?" She asked, to which you nodded happily. Maybe it was the experience of the harsh cold, but that warm meal was one of the best you had ever had. She smiled warmly. "Good good. I had worked so hard preparing it, why, I'd have been devastated if you had hated it." She collected your plate, and entered the kitchen, as she spoke up to have her voice heard from the other room. "I've straightened up the cabin some. Prepared it for company. I hope it's to your liking. In blizzards like this, it's very likely to find strangers wandering about. Us Yukki-Onna have a habit of taking care of them..."   Yukki-Onna? So that's what she was. You weren't familiar with the name, but you assumed it was a monster race. You had met a few monster girls before, centaurs, spider girls, slimes, but this girl seemed the most... Human. Aside from blue skin, what really made her a monster? You weren't sure...   She emerged once again from the kitchen, as she straightened her dress, and looked into your eyes. Her smile was warm, inviting, and all around pleasant. How could she be a monster? She seemed so human, so kind. Once again, her calm soothing voice broke the silence. "So, are you ready to have sex now?"   If you were still eating, you probably would have gagged on your meal. Sex, what? How did the two of you suddenly reach this point? You were confused, perplexed, and a bit dumbfounded. "Oh yes," The Yukki-Onna began, "Us Yukki-Onna are very powerful beings. However, we, like all living creatures, need some sort of energy. For us, it's the spirit of men." She walked closer to you. "Now, I've done you a favor and saved you from this blizzard. It's time to repay your debt."   You had no idea this was one of the terms and conditions of being saved. But you did know you weren't particularly interested in just having sex with a stranger. So you swiftly rejected her offer. She didn't falter at this, but instead continued her smile, with it seeming much less warm than earlier. "Oh, silly you. You think this is a choice.." She then proceeded to blow a kiss towards you. At first, nothing happened, aside from a short gust of wind blowing past you. But that was it. It seemed more awkward then anything.   However, something inside happened... Your heart, your organs, your whole inside felt... Cold. It was the oddest, most unpleasant sensation you had ever felt. It was painful, yet not. Like the feeling of when you're starving and haven't eaten all day, except far more intense, and all inside your body.   And cold. Very, very cold.   You hunched over, as you looked up to her, confused, wondering what, why, how... She just continued to smile that cold smile. "Now, would you care for the cure to that?" She touched your shoulder. The sensation instantly stopped, warmth returned. "I think you know what has to be done..." You knew you sure wanted this feeling to go away, you had no intention of keeping it. You realized that, no matter which option you chose, you were fucked either way. One literally, one metaphorically.   "Ara ara, now lets get you fixed up, hmm?"   She leaned forward, pressing her mouth against your's. The two of you kissed. You didn't want to, not particularly, but your body couldn't resist. She was warm, she held the key to keeping you from being cold again. You needed her, and you sure weren't going to be away from her.   She kept kissing you, her tongue in your mouth, as you heard some zippers being pulled. What was happening? You brain was to slow to realize what she was about to do as she withdrew her tongue from your mouth, and looked down. You too looked down to see your wood sticking out of your pants. Oh, that was what she had unzipped.   The Yukki-Onna licked her lips, and before you could object, she began to lick your penis, treating it as if it was a Popsicle stick. Her tongue felt wonderful, you couldn't deny it. She began to put her whole mouth around it, as her tongue began to lick it's base. Slowly it began to move it's way up, taking it's time, making sure it lasted a while. Finally, it reached the tip, at which point you couldn't contain your seed any longer. You released, a wave of pleasure passing you, the cold from before fully leaving your body, turning it back to normal.   You took a moment to process your thoughts, as the Yukki-Onna got up. She seemed pleased. "Hmm, I have to say, I've grown quite fond of you..." She began. "And I must say, your spirit is easily my favorite. I think I'll keep you. You'd make a lovely husband, don't you agree?"   You certainly had no intentions of staying, you wanted to get out of there, and fast. You quickly zipped your pants up, as you ran towards the door, unlocking it before sprinting out. As you rushed out, you could hear her laughter from behind you. "Fufufu, you can leave if you want to. But you'll never be farther than I want you to..." You disregarded her and ran into the cold outside, sprinting as far as your legs could carry you in the snow.   How far you ran, you didn't keep track. Maybe only a few minutes, maybe only a few hours, your adrenaline was what fueled you at this point. Eventually, in the distance, you saw a light glow. The resort building? Oh you were never more thankful to meet your boss then right now. However, as you got closer, you realized it wasn't the resort. And it wasn't the boulder either, though you wish it was.   In the distance was a small cottage, what you would stereotypical find in mountains. Wooden, chimney, it had the works. You could see in the window a warm glow coming from inside the house. On it's porch stood a blue woman, who was clearly eager for you to return.   ~END~   Spider Girl   It was a chilly Autumn day. Leaves of various colors filled the streets and sidewalks, the sky was a deep blue, with white clouds scattered about, and a cool breeze traveled through the air. You folded your arms to conserve warmth, wishing you had brought a bigger jacket. As you walked down the sidewalk, you recapped in your head what your plans were.   You had waited outside your local game store all Friday night, wanting to be the first to pick up Pokemon X or Y. And after waiting in line, and kicking a few 6 year olds to the side, you were finally able to grab a copy for yourself. And so you had locked yourself in your room, only leaving occasionally for food, water, and basic hygiene needs. Finally, after a few days of catching, collecting, trading, praising Goomy, and gawking at the Hex Maniac Trainers, you finally were able to beat the Elite Four. Feeling fulfilled for now, you saved and closed your 3DS, as you went up to the calendar to check the date, and that was when reality set in.   It was Thursday night. You had your Mid-Term paper due tomorrow. You cursed your college, and your education, as you hurried over to your computer, ready to wing yet another essay. You wiped the dust off of it, and tried to turn it on. The light on it appeared for a few brief seconds, but went out. You pressed it again, and the light again went out after a few seconds. Panic started to fill you, this was not the time to have computer problems, it was definitely not the time. You thought over what your options were. Write it on paper with pencil? Fuck that. Steal someone else's essay? Tempting, but you didn't particularly wish to get expelled. Just not do the essay? Also tempting, but you also didn't wish to fail this course either. No, there was only one option you had.   You were going to have to go to your College's library and type it up on the computers there.   And so you walked through down the sidewalk, for the first time in days breathing fresh air, as you approached the library doors. The inside looked dull and quiet, no one except the librarian was inside, and she seemed to have fallen asleep at her desk. A slow day, much to your benefit. You didn't particularly want any distractions while you rushed your essay. You walked through the Library, ignoring the shelves with dusty books as you approached a door with a label on it. 'COMPUTER LAB' it read. Yup, this was the place you were looking for.   You opened the door, and were greeted to a dark room, very dimly lit by one of the computer screens. You could barely make out where anything was inside. Instinctively, you felt against the side of the wall next to the door, looking for a light switch. When you found it, you promptly flicked it, flooding the room with light. The moment you did, you heard what sounded like a hiss of discontentment. The light had quickly revealed that you were not alone in there. No, you indeed had company, in the form of what appeared to be a rather messy girl, She was sitting at the desk across the room, her hands covering her eyes, clearly not prepared for the sudden illumination. Her hair appeared messy and unkempt, her clothes wrinkled. When she finally pulled her hand away from her eyes, you could see they appeared dark and baggy, probably from a lack of sleep. Was she a victim of procrastination too? You could only assume so.   After she blinked a few times, she turned her head towards the door, wearing a bitter look on her face at first. However, when she noticed you, she jumped, startled at the presence of another person. You had never seen this girl around campus before, so you assume she was a social outcast, or shut-in, or something. Not wanting to be rude, you said hi, as you walked towards a computer to use. She simply continued to stare at you, her eyes wide.   It was awkward, and you would've preferred to not be stared at, but it was the least of your concerns right now. You were more focused with writing that essay. You started up the computer, as it began to load the desktop. When it finally did, you heard the girl mumble something. From her staring, it appeared to be directed at you. You turned your head and asked if she could repeat herself, since you couldn't hear her. Her face turned a bit red, as she stared down to the floor. While she still mumbled, this time you could just faintly make out what she had said. "H-Hii..."   Well that was certainly a delayed response. This girl's behavior combined with her disheveled appearance was bizarre and creeping you out a little bit. But, you tried to disregard her, as you went turned your attention back to your computer, and loaded up Microsoft Word. It was finally time to begin your essay proper. Your fingers flew across the keyboard, as you began your analysis on 'The Jungle' and how it idealizes the concept of socialism. You didn't fully understand the prompt, but you figured if you just made up sentences that sounded smart, you could probably make a solid C on it.   However, as you typed, you felt like someone was staring at you again. Your typing slowed, as you turned to look. And sure enough, the girl was staring at you once more. When she saw you caught her, she quickly looked back at her computer screen, trying to appear busy as she mashed random keys on her keyboard loudly, and hid her face behind her computer monitor. Why in Illias' name was this girl so fixated on you? Well, you figured the sooner you put an end to this, the sooner you could concentrate completely on your essay. And so you looked over to her and asked her if there was something she wanted from you.   The girl paused, as she seemed to be processing all that was happening. "I-I umm.. I" She began stuttering over her words, and cradled her head in her hands. "Ermm I... No-Nothing..." She finally muttered, sounding defeated. Well, it looked that was that. It wasn't the most satisfactory answer you've ever had, but at least it was finished. You could go back to your paper.   Ten minutes had passed, and you had finally finished your section on the connections between Stalin and Meat Packing. You were almost done! Just one more section to go, and you'd be finished. As you continued typing, you heard a voice break the silence you were enjoying. "S-So, how about this weather?"   Really? She was going to try to start a conversation with that cliched line? You silently judged her, as you gave your answer. "Yup, it's cold." You replied to her, still keeping your focus on the computer.   "Y-Yup, cold..." She echoed. You could feel her staring at you once more, though this time you refused to turn to look back. You were determined to finally finish this essay. And finally, after about 20 minutes of continued awkwardness, you added the final words to it. And with that, you were finished, and in record time! You proudly hit the print button, as you walked over to the printer. Out of the corner of your eye you could see the girl staring at you as you walked over to the printer, confirming your suspicions.   As you collected your papers, you walked back to turn the computer off. As the screen went black, you began to head towards the door, excited to get back to Pokemon and Wonder Trade a bunch of Bunnelbys. However, as you reached over for the door knob, you heard a loud voice shout.   "WA-WAIT!"   You nearly jumped. You hadn't expected the girl to yell at you, especially after being so quiet this whole time. She kept staring at you, with panic in her eyes. "Y-You're not l-leaving are you?" This time, you stared at her, confused at her actions. You replied that yes, you were leaving. You had finished what you came there to do, and you were going to head back home.   "I-Ermm-I... Just-" She stuttered over her words again, trying to think of what to say. You rolled your eyes, as you opened the door, ready to head out. However, once again you heard her shout. "DO-DON'T!" However, this time she got up from her desk, and hurried towards you. Your eyes widened, as you noticed her lower body. You hadn't realized she wasn't human, and you especially hadn't expected her to be a monster...   You stumbled backwards, falling down into the doorway. You had been taken back by the odd anti-social girl's true form, what appeared to be a stark contrast to her personality. Her lower body was large, coated a sleek dark black, and segmented in two parts; A smaller front segment, and a larger back segment. Her rather large arthropod body appeared disturbing with her rather petite human body resting on top of it. Though perhaps what was more disturbing were the giant legs that lifted the body. They were long and slim, colored a deep black that matched the rest of the body. And there were quite a few of them. 1, 2... 8 in total you counted. There was no mistaking the species of Monster Girl you were dealing with;   She was an Arachne, half woman, half spider. A monster species that was well known for dangerous and intimidating they were. And while the girl in front of you appeared meek, plain, and somewhat untidy, her imposing arachnid body made up well for it. You had to admit, you were quite impressed she was able to hide her underside under that desk. But hey, the only Monster Girls you had ever seen were rather vanilla ones, like elves, cyclops, and a girl with cat ears and tail. Maybe the more monstrous ones were quite skilled in hiding their monster traits from people.   You cowered on the floor, as thousands of scenarios ran through your head. Were you about to be kidnapped, and kept in some dark cave somewhere as a sex slave, or you were going to get violated right there on the spot, your precious virginity being stolen right there in the school library. Or worse, maybe you'd be trapped in a cocoon of silk, as you experienced having your internal body fluids sucked from you slowly and painfully. You laid on the floor, staring up at the Monster Girl that towered before you, afraid to face whatever fate was in store for you...   You had been laying in the doorway for quite some time. Ten minutes? You weren't sure, there wasn't a clock in the room. It had felt like an eternity. And all she seemed to be doing was staring at you, shaking a bit. While you weren't to knowledgeable in how monster rape worked, but you were fairly sure this was so far the most uneventful rape of modern history.   After the initial fear of the encounter had left your system, and quickly being replaced with boredom and irritation, you decided to break the silence in the room. "So... Are you going to do anything or can I just go?" The Monster Girl seemed shocked, as she began to stammer, struggling to say what she wanted to.   "O-Oh, I um... I... I'm making y-you my husband!" Well, at least you weren't being eaten. Though you couldn't say you were too pleased with being forced into spouse hood with some spider you barely knew. While you were still a bit intimidated by her stature, you decided in that moment to be brave and try to escape from this the only way you could think of.   "Hey, as flattered as I am by the prospect, can I... Say no to the idea?" The color (Or what little was there) drained from her face, as she began to panic, mumbling all sorts of words to herself.   "Oh Illias this isn't good... They didn't... They didn't say what to do if he said no... Oh goodness this is..." She obviously had no idea what to do, and she barely seemed like a threat now. You brought yourself off the floor, making sure to pick up your essay.   "Sooo..." You interrupted her stammering once you had all your papers in order. The Arachne's mumbles came to a complete halt once you had spoken up. "If that's all over with... Can I go now?"   "Y-You too."   Well, that was close enough to a satisfactory answer for you.   As you walked down the hallway, leaving the awkward spider girl back in the computer room, you reviewed your essay, admiring your skill in writing it in such a short time. However, as you walked further down the desolate hallway, you began to hear a sound coming from behind you. Was it more mumbling? No, it... It sounded like sobbing. A small tinge of guilt went through you, as you considered going back to check on her. Though you really didn't want to, considering how awkward it had been earlier. You briefly argued in your mind whether or not to go back, before your moral compass finally took over, and you walked back to the computer room.   You peered in, as you saw the socially inept spider girl, her body on the floor and her arms folded, crying into them. "Hey, you... You gonna be OK?" You asked, as you cautiously went closer towards her.   She looked up, momentarily pausing her sobbing. Her face already looked stained in tears, and her hair appeared even more tangled than before. "N-No! How can I be OK? I'm a failure of an Arachne! I'll just end up alone and... And..." She began to sob again. You hesitantly placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to provide comfort. "I-I mean," She broke her sobs to continue. "I couldn't even abduct a husband! Every single one of my sisters is already married. And th-they even gave me advice on what to do and even with that I..."   "Hey, cheer up there." You interrupted. "You're not a failure of an Arachne. You just... Probably need some training, or practice or something. Maybe a more... Controlled environment to practice?" You tried to provide some advice, but you probably weren't the best authority on how to catch a husband.   "Bu-But this was supposed to-to-" She started to choke up again. You had never felt such a strange combination of guilt and pity.   "Well, how about I... Help you practice?" You were a bit worried you might regret those words when you said them, but seeing the Spider Girl instantly cheer up alleviated those worries. She had lifted her head up, quickly exchanging her sobbing for an ecstatic smile.   "R-Really? You'll be my husband!?" Her voice was still a bit strained from crying just moments ago, but one could easily notice the enthusiasm in it now.   "No, just help your practice, alright!?" You were a bit flustered at her desire to make you her husband, but you personally didn't care much for going too fast. Though you had to admit, you couldn't help but find her eagerness a bit... adorable. "So, do you want to practice at the coffee shop or something?"   The Spider Girl nodded, as she lifted her abdomen off the floor. "Ooh, umm y-yes! I mean, if it's OK with you and all." And with that, she began to follow you out of the room. "Oh, say, can I rape you? Or practice raping you? My sisters said I should do that before actually marrying a man." You began to question your decision once again.
