'The city... It burns... Roll... Protoman... Light... All of them are dead. I'm the only one left.
What do I do now... Someone.. Help me.'
 
"Move outta the way, human!"
 
"What?" I say outloud, the first word I've said since I've buried my brother. After a moment, I walk to the broken window of the lab of my father.
 
"I SAID MOVE, HUMAN!" Gutsman yells out, before punching a passerby in the stomach and tossing him against the wall. Surely enough, Cutman is right behind him.
 
"Hey Gutsman! This guy looks like the kind of person the boss is looking for!" Cutman hollers out, in his snide nasally voice.
 
"Bah! Just kill him! He won't even obey a simple order to move outta the damn way." Gutsman says, crossing his arms and shaking his head.
 
Cutman just nods, and raises his blades towards the man and lunges towards him, before piercing the defenseless man's chest. The scene is enough to make me squeeze my eyes shut and look away. I wish I was used to by now. These monsters just kill whoever they please, sometimes small children and women.
 
I just find the nearest corner away from the window and huddle up in it, hoping to fall back asleep.
 
"Rock..." A voice calls out from the darkness.
 
"W-Who's there?" I call out, the entirety of my surroundings gone into nothingness.
 
"It's me.." the voice calls back, before taking form as Dr. Light.
 
"F-father!"
 
"Rock. You must avenge us... I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, but Wily needs to be stopped." He says in his usual calm tone.
 
"But how?! Even Protoman couldn't stand up to his evil! How do you expect me to beat him by myself?!" I yell out, my voice choking up.
 
"Rock, calm down. You will know when the time is right.. Then the power will be revealed to you.. Defeat the robot masters.. Defeat Wily." He calls out, before fading away.
 
I jerk awake, tears in my eyes. I stand up and walk over to one of the windows, seeing one of the human Ghettos being burned, probably by Fireman. After hearing the screaming humans flee from the burning section of the city, I snap. In am angry tantrum, I walk over to the work area of Dr. Light and begin to destroy the surrounding area, whether it be from punching, throwing broken electronics.
 
"WILY! YOU MONSTER!" I scream out, punching a wall, before it crumbles to the ground. Inside the opening, is a capsule with a console. Everything is intact and looks functional. There's a small console, with an outline of a hand, big enough to fit mine. I shrug before placing my hand on the black surface, and as soon as my hand makes direct contact, the surface turns completely red, with a white line seemingly tracing my hand. After reaching the bottom of my hand, the screen turns a pitch green before a hologram appears.
 
"Rock. If you've found this, then it is time for you to fufill your destiny. Inside this capsule is battle ready armor and a subtank, along with an experimental weapon known as the Mega Buster. It can steal the powers of the defeated robot masters. You will find many capsules like this on your way to Wily's fortress, all will help you along the way. The rest is up to you. Now go. Step inside the capsule, my Mega Man..." The hologram says before fading out.
 
What happened inside that capsule is beyond me... But now is my time.. The time of revenge.. To redeem myself. To take down Wily, and show him the sheer might of his former partner's work. This battle will not be won by brute force, but by the Will of One.
