Title: Futajack the Maid Part 2 [CYOA, Humanized, Clop, Futa] Author: drag00n Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/AErEx7uh First Edit: Thursday 26th of September 2013 07:53:07 PM CDT Last Edit: Thursday 26th of September 2013 07:53:07 PM CDT >Show her how to polish the silverware. >Hold her hands and guide her from behind.   “Do you want some training on this?” You ask after taking in her uncertain expression.   “Ah don't want to trouble you...” Applejack almost refused, but you could tell she really wanted you to.   “It's no trouble at all, my trip to town was for leisure anyway.” You wave off her concerns and lead her back to the kitchen area. Reaching under the sink, you bring up the silverware polish and accompanying cloth while you have her bring out the daily use silverware. “Alright, we'll practice on the daily silverware. I have a much nicer set wrapped up in the cabinets that we'll be using when I have important guests. But we'll get to those when we need those and after you've had some practice with the common fair.”   You set up a place next to the sink to polish before pulling out two pairs of cleaning gloves. You set upon the first piece, using it as an example for Applejack to follow. Satisfied with the initial piece, you allow Applejack to make her own attempt. After a moment, you intervene and step behind her before taking her hands in yours.   “Easy, Applejack... although we call it polishing, we need to be as gentle as possible when doing it. No elbow grease.” You find yourself having to lean to the side, the cowgirl being just tall enough to prevent you from looking over her shoulder. The position you found yourself in forced your body close to hers, even as your hands guided hers in making the silverware beautiful. Unbidden, your proximity to her shapely ass caused your member to swell and you could feel her tense up when she felt it brush against her. Neither of you say anything as you continue to guide her through the polishing of the silverware and you eventually make your way through the common silverware. “There... all done... this isn't that hard, is it?”   “No... it ain't...” Applejack responded and she put down the last piece of the silverware. Your eyes followed it down to the counter top and notice that she's pitching a tent, too.   Wait a second...   Carlos: I guess you could say that we really did...   Carlos: Make her big dick move!   Shut up, Carlos!   Glancing back up, you see her nervous eyes looking back at you. She quickly folded her hands in front of her in an effort to hide it, but you both knew what you had just seen. She kept glancing at you before looking away, her face flushed and her eyes filled with shame.   If she was what you think she was, than you'd just gained a colossal amount of power over her. While Futanari, making up less than a percent of the population, had seen great gains in the cities due to a PR campaign, in the smaller towns they were still viewed as 'unnatural' and subject to great superstition and suspicion. If this got out about her, than it would permanently damage her reputation in town. Even outside of superstitious nonsense, futanari made up a disproportionally large percentage of sex workers in Equestria. If she was discovered, than much like a woman wandering around with a G-cup, there would be certain assumptions made about her.   “...please don't tell anyone about this...” Applejack quietly pleaded after a moment.   How do you react? 3 or 8 decides   >Rhetorically ask why you would. Remind Applejack what we said to her this morning. >"All completely natural…" >And with that, leave for your leisure trip.   “Why would I do that?” You ask, making no attempt to distance yourself from her. “It's just your bodies natural reaction to this kind of touch...”   “But... mah body is...” Applejack began, not really believing it.   “All completely natural...” You cut her off, turning her head to look at you. “And I'm not hearing a word otherwise...”   Applejack fell silent, seemingly unable to formulate a response to your assertion. You place a comforting hand on her shoulder and she didn't shrug it off. It was clear that she was uncomfortable with the way her body was and you wonder if you were the first person outside of her family to make that comment.   “I'll be back soon...” You tell her after a moment, deciding to give her a chance to sort out her thoughts. After seeing her give a nod of understanding, you pull off your cleaning gloves and pull on your jacket before heading out of your house.   There were two general directions you could go. Heading into town proper would lead to town hall, the local bakery, any number of stores, your bank and the local library. On the far end of town, you'd enter into the farmland and Sweet Apple Acres. But as you look down the other direction, you can see the proof that the city was creeping closer to Ponyville. The organically laid streets of the town gave way to the more pre-planned blocks you were familiar with. While you were certain you wouldn't find any place openly declaring themselves a strip club, you had the feeling that you might find something of a more risque nature hidden behind a bland sign.   Where do you go? 5 or 0 decides   >Go towards the stores. >Go into a weird thrift shop ala every stupid B-movie plot. >Find a bracelet that let's you see AJ's "trust", "stress" and whatever else meters.   Deciding to bypass the potentially dangerous new part of town, you head into town proper and begin browsing the shops. Most were straight forward with what they were putting on for sale and thus you could easily decide if they were worth your time today. Food, jewelry, clothing and what not vied for your attention before you paused at a more vague sign. It was withered and declared it was a 'Thrift' shop.   Your curiously piqued, you pull open the door and step into the dim shop. You were kind of surprised to see such a shop in Ponyville and you briefly meet the eyes of the old man sitting at the counter. His eyes were intense and you find yourself having to look away before you began browsing his wares. Pausing at the jewelry shelf, you slowly sort through the pile of gaudy rings before picking up a bracelet from the pile.   “The Bracelet of Truth... an artifact of great power...” The rough force came forth and you turn to look at the old man again. “But it is also cursed!”   “That's not good...”   “But it comes with a free frogurt.” The old man opens a mini-freezer and places it on the counter.   “That's good.”   “The frogurt is also curse.”   “Dammit!” You cursed your luck and you consider if you should buy it or not. What are the chances that they were actually cursed? You also notice a book shelf crammed full of old and new texts and a few more shelves of small curiosities.   What do? 4 or 8 decides   >Are you guys sure this is a good idea? Last time we ignored similiar warnings like that we ended with a pregnant eternal harem and fucked a princess… >Run away without the bracelet of course, then go to the library like >>197362 said >Library, go check if she has more of that porn novel.   “Yeah... no. No thank you.” You swiftly spin on your heel and make for the door.   “You can never come back...” The voice echoed after you as the door closes behind you. He shut closed with a sense of finality and you don't look back as you resume wandering around town. Finally, you find yourself standing in front of the town library and you find yourself questioning the logic of building a library in a tree. That's somehow is still alive. Oh, right... magic.   Pulling open the door to the library, you wander in to see Twilight Sparkle and her assistant Spike on the main floor of the library. You can see the young dragon approach you, Twilight being too engrossed in a book to notice your entry.   “Hey, can I help you?” Spike asked as he approached you, presuming you to be a patron.   “Yeah... I'm looking for more of a series I found...” You glance over at the librarian. “Although, maybe I should ask her...”   “Nah, I can help you... what are you looking for?”   “Bellatrix, Amazon of the South...” You state the title and you can see Twilight's head snap to you with a blush on her face.   “Spike, I'll help him...” Twilight stood up suddenly and she quietly dismissed the dragon before turning to you. “Why do you think we have books from that series?”   “You knew what I was talking about, for one.” You point out and after a moment, she signaled for you to follow her upstairs. Unlocking a cupboard, she opened it up to reveal yet another shelf of books.   “We don't keep books like that on the floor... children might see them.” Twilight explained before stepping aside to allow you to perused the books. “I'm surprised that the previous librarian even kept these...”   You trace your fingers across the spines of the books and you note that they had a lot of books from that series but not the complete collection. A few of the novels seemed to have been recently disturbed with one in particular being 'well loved.'   Pick one at random or check out the 'well loved' one? 6 or 9 decides   >Pick the well loved one. >Taunt Twilight about it. >Taunt her about the other being "moderately loved". >Use this as leverage to gain the Perceive ability to fucking see AJ's stats!   Reaching up, you finger the 'well loved' book and pull it down from the shelf. It looked like Twilight was about to open her mouth to make a remark about it but chose to remain silent at the last moment. Taking it and turning it in your hand, you gazed at the graphic printed on the cover. Bellatrix, the amazon you'd already seen on the previous cover, was possessively wrapping her arms around a scantily clad mage while a regal looking woman stood dominant over both of them.   “Do you enjoy this series, too?” You ask as you began leafing through the pages.   “Why do you ask?” Twilight asked a little cautiously. “I only keep them around because throwing them out would make people ask why I had them in the first place.”   “Really... it really looks like someone's been reading this one recently...” You point out, flipping through it until you found a bookmark. Pausing, you began to read aloud. “Celia was helpless in her Queen's arms, unable to turn her eyes away from Bellatrix as she was made to service the Royal Guard in every carnal way they wanted. The Queen's gentle, yet firm grip toyed with her supple, unsoiled flesh of her body as Her Majesty forced moans for her students lips at her leisure. She'd spent her entire life learning how to be a good girl... to be useful as the Queen's loyal student and Court Mage. But as her moans grew to join her new friends, she caught the pleased look in her Queen's eyes. Could she have found a new way to be useful to her...?”   As you continued reading, you caught sight of Twilight's face growing more and more flushed before she interrupted you.   “Alright... I meant to throw them out, but I decided to give one of them a shot. I haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of them since.” Twilight explained with a blushing face. “I'd rather you not tell anyone about my reading habits.”   “Alright... do you mind if I ask a favor?” You ask as you close the book. “Do you know any spells that could help me see someone's stats?”   “Stats?” Twilight looked confused. “What are you talking about?”   What do? 3 or 8 decides   >"I'd like to have a way to tell how much a certain person trusts me, and would obey me. Do you know a spell that would allow me to passively track that?"   "What I mean is...” You pause to rephrase your request. “I'd like to have a way to tell how much a certain person trusts me, and would obey me. Do you know a spell that would allow me to passively track that?"   “Well... theoretically it's possible, but I don't really do any research in that direction.” Twilight remarked, before turning to you. “I find that the best way to gain the trust of someone is to put a little trust in them yourself...”   Looking in her eyes, you realize that she's warming up a friendship speech.   Endure or try to distract her? 5 or 0 decides   >Check out all the books. >After listening to the friendship speech. >Ask her, yes or no, if she could create such a spell. Tell her you don't have to have it right now, but you'd consider it a great favor and that you'd return that favor generously - after all, you're a big shot at the bank, and I'm sure the library can always use some repairs or interior remodeling…   “We have built great wonders of magic and industry, but we have only done so by trusting in each other. And we cannot live constantly questioning whether or not to trust the people we share our lives with. While we won't always be able to trust everyone we meet, we can't keep second guessing the people around us and having a spell like you describe... it would be too tempting to do so.” Twilight stepped forward and grasped your hands in hers. “I once met a girl who couldn't trust the people around her no matter what. So she spent all of her time second guessing and trying to manipulate everyone around her. But even when she said otherwise, people could sense that she didn't truly trust them. In the end, she only succeeded in making herself miserable... and that's why I won't give you a spell like that, no matter what you offer me...”   You find yourself staring into Twilight's eyes and having to pause to think. Did you even have the ability to use magic, even if she did manage to research the spell for you?   “So... about these books...” You begin after taking a moment to clear your head. “Do you mind if I check them all out?”   “Well... this series in particular is actually really hard to come by...” Twilight responded after a moment of thought. “The publisher only does limited runs. We may have an impressive amount, but this is hardly a complete collection. I can't let you check them all out, but I don't mind if you take a story arc at a time. The one you're holding is the 'Queen's Favor'... I also recommend 'The Terrors of the Wastelands' and 'To Serve.' We have a few others in stock as well...”   What do? 2 or 7 decides   >"To Serve" sounds interesting. Let's check that one out and then head off to the bakery (time permitting) to get a treat we can share with Applejack back at home.   “Alright, I'd like to check out 'To Serve' today...” You hand the book you were holding back to Twilight. “I suspect that you'll be wanting some time with the 'Queen' tonight anyway. But one thing is bothering me... why did you even admit to having these books?”   “Well... Spike's incredibly helpful, so even if I did say we didn't have a copy he might have looked for it anyway. And questionable as it is, it is recorded in our catalog and he would've found it eventually.” Twilight explained as she pulled out several books and placed them in a bag. “And there are several... 'talks' I've yet to have with him. Oh, may I see your library card?”   You had it to her and she raised an eyebrow as she looked at your name before she looked back at you. She almost said something, but she kept her peace for now as she handed the bag of books to you after signing the books out.   “Thank you for the books...” You give her a nod as you turned to leave the library.   “Hey, Mr. Anonymous...” Twilight called out as the reach the doors. “You don't need to worry about her... she'll trust you just as much as you trust her. Just be honest...”   Looking back, you give her a nod before leaving without saying anything more. Giving Spike a parting word, you step out into the late morning and take a deep breath. It was closing in on lunch time and you decide that you were going to pick something up to bring back to Applejack since she was doing so well. Glancing around, you spot a loudly colored bakery called 'Sugarcube Corner' in the distance and you head there after a moment of thought.   Pulling open the doors, you step in and see a pleasantly plump woman standing at the counter. You see a variety of cupcakes, cakes and other various baked goods for sale.   “Welcome to Sugarcube Corner!” She greeted you once she spotted you. “How can I help you today?”   What do? 4 or 8 decides   >Look at dat ass. >Revel in dat ass. >She got ass fo daiz sun >"What would you like?" >"Ass" >"What?!" >"Asslice of cake… and a cupcake" >Nice save.   You are pretty sure that this woman had a nice ass. It's kind of hard to see it from the other side of the counter. Approaching the counter, you discreetly try to catch a glimpse of it while making a show of examining the baked goods. While you'd like to revel in the sight of that ass, the confounded counter kept you currently unable to do so.   “See anything you like?” She asked after a moment.   “I'm not sure yet... Mrs?”   “Cake.” Mrs. Cake responded to your request. “I could see if we have anything fresh from the over that might catch your eye...”   It would also permit you to get a great glimpse of her behind at the same time.   What do? 6 or 9   >Decide to buy two of the most expensive thing they have, whatever it is.   “Do you have anything... special?” You ask after a moment and she brings out a small menu of their more expensive treats. Running your finger down the menu, you see that cakes tend to top their menu in term of price. You hesitate when you notice that a special wedding cake was at the very top before dropping down to select two of the cakes just below it. “I'd like to purchase this and this...”   “Of course!” Mrs. Cake perked up at the thought of a big sale today. She took a look at the cakes currently on display and hummed to herself for a moment. “We only have one of them ready right now... I could give you the display cake now and you can come back for the other or you could have us freshly bake both of them for you. Which would you like?”   5 or 0 decides   >Wait for her to bake both of them. >Ask her when she'll be done. >When she gets back in the kitchen, you can gives us a description of that ass.   “Go ahead and bake them fresh for me.” You respond, preempting her by handing her your bank card. “When will they be ready?”   “We'll get started right away, so it will take roughly an hour and a half from mixing to frosting for cakes of this size.” Mrs. Cake replied before handing you a receipt and a claim ticket. “If you'll excuse me, I'll tell Carrot and Pinkie to get started on it right away.”   You nod your head and begin to turn away. But you glance back to watch Mrs. Cake as she headed to the back. Her ass was indeed glorious as you watched as it swayed back and forth as she made her way to the back. It was round and pleasant to look at as it jiggled slightly under her dress as she disappeared into the back. The only downside was the wedding ring that rested comfortably on her finger.   Pocketing the claim ticket and receipt, you consider what to do while you wait.   3 or 7 decides   >Let's head back home and check in on Applejack, tell her we'll have something special to share with her tonight. Then maybe spend some quality time with those books and pretend Applejack is the heroine of the story.   Deciding to head back home, you walk back with a spring in your step and your erotic literature in your bag. You were feeling good about yourself as you push open the door to your residence and enter within. Not really announcing your return, you hang your coat up in the closet and quietly creep around in search of your new maid. You find her just outside the backdoor, sitting on one of the lawn chairs and enjoying a sandwich and a smoke. She seemed to be just enjoying the afternoon air while having her lunch and after a moment you clear your throat to draw her attention.   “Welcome back!” Applejack greeted you, briefly setting down her sandwich. “Ah didn't hear yah come back... did yah want me to fix you up somethin'?”   6 or 9 decides   >Decline, but pull up a chair beside her and join her. Tell her you'll be heading out again after a bit to pick up something special for tonight, but that you wouldn't mind some company while you wait to leave.   “No, I'm fine...” You shake your head as you take a seat near her. “I'm only dropping in while I wait on something special for tonight...”   “Somethin' special...?” Applejack asked curiously before taking another bite of her sandwich. “Like...?”   “You'll see...” The teasing reply came from your lips easily as you place the bag of books on your lap. “But for now, I'd love some company while I wait...”   You could spend the time in silence. Or talk to her about something... or you could follow through with your original plan to settle down with your new books. But do you really want to do that in front of Applejack?   2 or 8 decides   >I don't think we're ready to go full pervo in front of Applejack yet…Instead, let's engage her about her future plans - specifically, if she's planning to settle down anytime soon.   “So...” You begin cautiously, unsure of how to best broach the topic. “I haven't exactly seen any gentlemen pounding down my door to protest your new job.”   “Yah likely won't... outside of mah brother. Ain't really seeing anyone...” Applejack glanced down for a moment. “Even without... y'know what, ain't too many suitors interested in a gal who can outlift 'em. And those that do have a lot 'f ideas about what tah expect of me. Y'know what I'm sayin'?”   “But are you interested in settling down eventually?”   “Hell yeah...” Applejack replied, setting down her empty plate. “It's jus'... ah have to find the right fella'... one that'll accept me, warts an' all...”   Applejack fell silent after that thought.   What do? 5 or 0 decides   >Reach over and squeeze her shoulder. When she turns to look, give her a warm, loving smile. >If she asks about the smile, tell her you think she's fantastic the way she is. >If she doesn't, let it go into a comfortable silence.   Reaching over to her, you grip her firm shoulder and give it a comforting squeeze. She gave you a quizzical look and you returned it with a warm smile.   “Now what's that about?” Applejack asked with an uncertain smile.   “I think you're fantastic that way you are...” You give her shoulder one final rub before settling back into your seat. “It's just a matter of time before you find the right person for you...”   “Ah certainly hope so... ah mean, the few time somebody sees That thing an' suddenly ah'm some sorta sex fiend...” Applejack paused to take a drag from her cigarette, before looking at you with a smile. “Ah think yer the first one tah not make that sorta 'ssumption.”   What do you say or do next? 4 or 8 decides   >"I'm an uncommon man in my own way. Besides, looking past conventional wisdom can bring unexpected rewards in my field. If you have the stomach to take risk."   “I'm an uncommon man in my own way...” You grin back at her. “Besides, looking past conventional wisdom can bring unexpected rewards in my field. If you have the stomach to take the risk.”   “What are yah trying to say?” Applejack asked after a moment, seemingly uncertain about where you are taking the conversation.   2 or 7 decides   >Tell her you mean that you see a hard worker and a good woman when you look at her, and not a collection of sexual organs that would pre-define her.   “What I'm saying is that I see a hard worker and a good woman in front of me.” You lean forward a little. “Not a collection of sexual organs that would pre-define her.”   “Ah...” Applejack paused, before falling silent for a while as if processing what you've said and her eyes seem to scan you for any sign of deceit. Finally, she spoke once more with a beautiful smile. “...thank yah. That means a lot to me...”   The two of you sit in comfortable silence for a while as the sounds of the afternoon surround you. Eventually, Applejack excused herself to get back to her chores and you were pretty sure that your order would be ready soon.   What do? 6 or 0 decides   >Tell Applejack you'll be heading out again to run an errand or two, and you should be back before dinner. Head toward the bakery, but be on the lookout for others to converse with.   After checking your watch, you determine that it was almost time to go pick up your cakes and you stretch for a moment after standing up. Meandering back into the house, you drop you bag of books off in the study not wishing to carry it around all day. Sticking your head into the kitchen, you note that Applejack was cleaning it with a gentle hum.   “I'll be back, I have to run a few more errands today.” You tell her after drawing her attention. “I'll be back before dinner.”   “Seeya, Sir.” Applejack replied with a smile.   You take your time on your way to the bakery as you aren't in any hurry. It would take a colossal emergency to make you late on your return trip. You do feel a little out of place in you casual suit as you walk through town but you shrug it off.   Wandering back into the main part of town, you notice a willowy pink haired woman struggling with three large bags.   What do? 4 or 8 decides   >Ask her if she would like some help.   Feeling charitable, you make your way over to lend the woman a hand. And just in the nick of time, too. The third bag slipped free of her grip and you find yourself instinctively catching it before it spilled it's contents onto the ground.   “Are you alright?” You ask after she managed to steady herself.   “...um, yes...  thank you.” The woman almost whispered.   “Do you need help with this? It's a lot to carry...” She seemed to consider your words for a moment before shyly nodding her agreement. Reaching out, your take the second bag from her to further lighten her load.   “....this way.” The willowy woman told you as she began leading you further away from town. As you began to follow her, you glance down at the contents of your bags and notice that it was filled to the brim with various animal foods. Bird, dog and cat... what wasn't she feeding?   You weren't sure how long it would take you to reach your destination and you think she might be sticking to the main roads while you're walking with her. She didn't seem willing to start a conversation, so it would fall to you to do so if you wished.   What do? 3 or 7 decides   >Ask her what she's doing with this much pet food, see if that brings up something interesting.   “If you don't mind me asking, why do you need all of this pet food?” You ask after a moment.   “...it's for the shelter.” The pink haired woman replied softly.   “An animal shelter?” You gave her a questioning glance. “I thought animal shelters had their food delivered?”   “We don't get a lot of donations and we are always overcrowded... we do get shipments, but we're stretched so thin that we have to find ways to pitch more in.” The lady replied as she led you around a corner. “We're non-euthanasia so we get a lot of people from out of town who want to give up their pets with a clear conscious...”   The two of you have meandered to the side of town bordering the Everfree forest. The buildings grow spare as you move and you see a large building with a sign marking it as the 'Ponyville Animal Shelter.' Pushing open the door, she leads you into the shelter and you take a moment to glance around. It seemed like the shelter was heavily understaffed as the overstressed looking attendant at the counter could attest. A board set against the wall was covered with postings concerning upcoming animal adoption and vaccination events.   “Hello, Fluttershy. Bringing in extra food again?” The attendant asked, glancing up from her records. She glanced over at you with a raised eyebrow. “Who's your friend?”   “...um, he's...” Fluttershy began, glancing back at you as she realized that she never learned your name.   What do? 2 or 9 decides   >"Anonymous," Pat Fluttershy's shoulder, "I was just helping Miss Shy with her bags." >Check your watch. Say you'd like to stay and chat, but you have another appointment. >Also, using sleight of hand, leave fluttershy a $100 when we pat her shoulder, for those poor animals.   You take a moment to deposit the bags next to the counter before joining the two of them.   “Anonymous.” You reply, patting Fluttershy on the shoulder. Discreetly, you slip a hundred bit note into between her shoulder and her dress. “I was just helping Miss Shy with her bags.”   “That's nice of you.” The attendant perked up as she began picking up the bags you'd dropped. “Isn't the right, Fluttershy?”   “Y-yeah...” Fluttershy stuttered a little, rubbing the shoulder where you'd deposited the money with a flushed face. She clearly knew it was there but wasn't able to remove it without anyone noticing it. You smile a little before making a show of checking your watch.   “I'd love to stick around and chat but I've got an appointment...” You tell them.   “Thank you for the help. Fluttershy thanks you, too...” The attendant turns briefly to her friend and Fluttershy nodded shyly at you.   Waving goodbye, you step back out of the animal shelter and take in the afternoon air. The distinct smell of animal still surrounded you but that was to be expected. You still had plenty of time before dinner and now that you knew the way it would take too long to return to the bakery.   What do? 7 or 3 decides   >We payed good money for those cakes fresh, and we told Applejack we'll probably be back by dinner. >Get to the bakery as fast as possible, and brings the cakes back.   With a spring in you step, you return to your initial journey to Sugarcube Corner. Somehow you feel more at ease with on your way and you eventually return to the fabled bakery. Pushing open the door, you smile at the smell of the bakery fill your nose and you spot someone new standing at the register.   “Hi!” The pink haired woman seemed exceptionally bouncy and you notice that she's pleasantly plump. You seem to remember her being on the welcoming party that had greeted you when you moved into town. Pinkie Pie, wasn't it? “Welcome to Sugarcube Corner, Anonymous! How can I help you?”   “Hello, I'm here about an order...” You hand her your order ticket and she briefly examined it before perking up.   “Hey, I was wondering who wanted those cakes! We don't get to make those too often...” Pinkie Pie bounced back toward the bakery and you find your eyes following her ass as she did so. She returned with two boxes, one much larger than the others while the other was the size of the cake you'd seen. “This is a lot of cake...are you throwing a party?”   What do? 4 or 8 decides   >"I guess you could call it a welcome party…" >Trail off as you ponder whether or not you could even carry two cakes of this size all the way back to the mansion, or if there is another way.   “I guess you could call it a Welcome Party...” You reply, briefly examining the larger of the two cakes. You were pretty sure that you could carry the larger the one if you had only it to worry about it, but both at the same time?   “For Applejack?” Pinkie Pie perked up at the thought. “We were planning something for her, too!”   “Oh, really?” You raise an eyebrow at her words.   “Oh yeah! I wanted to throw her a 'New Job' party but Rarity wanted me to wait until she was settled in so we were planning to do it tomorrow.” Pinkie continued to chatter on. Her eyes lit up as something occurred to her. “Ooh! Can we do it at your place? We were planning to do it here, but the babies have been cranky when I've been having parties here...”   You briefly consider it. Your residence did feel a bit empty at the moment and a party might be what was called for. You also needed to know how well Applejack could handle a large amount of guests as well...  Perhaps you could have her friends come over and act as guests before springing the party on her?   “Oh! I guess you do need a hand with these, don't you?” Pinkie said, seemingly just realizing that you'd intended to carry your order home. “I could help you! It's not often we make these...”   What do? 5 or 0 decides   >Instead tell her to get a few more of Apple Jacks friends and be at our place by dinner, we can have the cake latter tonight. We'll need to get back to Apple Jack to tell her she'll be cooking for a few extra.   “I can handle it, thanks...” You reply, before pausing to think. “But... can you get her friends together and bring them over to my place for dinner?”   “Ooh, tonight?” Pinkie danced a little at the suggestion. “I'll have to get started right away! This'll be so much fun, even with just the seven of us!”   You nod your head as you unsteadily pick up the cake boxes and bid her farewell. Carefully, you made your way back home with the cakes in your arms. The invitation was partly fueled by necessity because there was no way you and Applejack could eat all of this by yourselves. It took a little doing, but you managed to make it back to your residence with the cakes undamaged and, if you sense of time was correct, with enough time to notify Applejack of your guests tonight.   “Hello there.” The voice came suddenly and nearly caused you to jump out of your skin. Standing on your doorstep stood a man with his face seemingly frozen in a permanent grin. “I understand that you opened the box I left for you... and I'm wondering if you had any second thoughts.”   “About what...?”   “I think you know what I'm talking about... but, undoing it will take a price.” The grinning man spoke. “Everything has a price... you know this. This one has two in fact... one is the gains you'd made that relate to it. The other is random...”   Seemingly on cue, the man produced something from his pocket and held it out. Twisting to get a look at it, you see it's a six sided die.   “Each side represents a new possibility... if you wish to continue, I'll explain each one. You will still be able to back out at any point before I toss this.” His grin seemed to deepen for a moment. “Or, you can send me on my way and I'll trouble you no further... what will it be?”   3 or 8 decides   >Let's at least hear the possibilities, since we can still refuse before the throw.   “Interested, then? I shall explain then...” He lifted up the die and presented the sides 3 and 6 to you. “I consider three and six to be my lucky numbers... and today they are yours, too. No extra penalty.”   “Numbers one and four, however...” He presented the relevant sides to you. “Well... the Apple family will successfully raise some money to put against the debt. One is a random smaller number while number four will take a much larger bite out of the debt.”   “Two and five are unlucky...” The grin seemed to be almost large enough to split his head apart. “Number two will transfer her condition to you while number five will cause you to become Miss Anonymous.”   5 or 0 decides. If you wish to roll, roll a d6 at the same time.   >Emphatically refuse the offer and send this strange little man on his way.   “...no. When I told her I would accept her as she was, I fucking meant it!” You glared at him from over your boxes. “I'm not going to cheat just because things aren't working out like in a storybook. Now, if you'll excuse me...”   “As you wish...” The man smiled, seemingly impressed as he unlatched the door for you. You push the door open the rest of the way with your foot before turning to see that he's actually leaving only to find that he has seemingly vanished into thin air. Shrugging, you enter your residence and push the door closed before heading to the kitchen. You take stock of the house as you pass through a find nothing unacceptable but no sign of Applejack just yet. After carefully depositing the cakes in the kitchen, you begin searching for you dutiful if wayward maid.   It didn't take you too long to find her in the study, where you found her seated in one of the chairs. Her face was flushed and her nose was buried in a book. You can't make out much from where you were standing but you are pretty sure it's one of the books you borrowed from Twilight. Applejack seemingly hasn't noticed you yet, being as engrossed in the literature as she was.   What do? 7 or 3 decides   >Go back down the hall a bit and start walking toward the study calling out to her loudly.   Deciding not to embarrass your employee, you carefully back out of the room. Walking down the hallway, you pause at the very end and wait a moment before turning around.   “Applejack?” You call out as you begin your return trek. As you approach the study door, you can hear her cursing to herself quietly. “Applejack?”   “Comin'!” You can hear her clearly before the door to the study swung open and she greeted you with a red face. Her hands were firmly held in their 'demure' folded position, which you were quickly picking up meant that she was concealing an erection. “How can I help yah, sir?”   “Ah, I just needed to inform you that we'll be having guests for dinner...” You pause to consider your next words. Should you tell her who you've invited and why? Or keep a lid on it and ensure the party would be a surprise? Even tell her that her friends are coming over at your request to test her ability to wait on guests before springing the party on her?   2, 4 or 6 decides   >Don't tell her specifics, just say that it'll be a practice for the more serious events that may occur in the future.   “Five guests in total.” You resume after shaking your head to clear it. “I've asked them over so you can practice serving a group of guests before I start having business partners come in.”   “Ah'd better get started then if ah'm to get it ready before dinner time...” Applejack said after discreetly checking the time. “Did yah want anything special made?”   You could specify what you'd like to have made or you could let her decide. Perhaps this might be a good time to have Applejack break out the nicer set of silverware? And ensure that she knows how to properly set them?   What do? 3, 6 or 9 decides   >"You may decide the menu, but I will also test you with placing the nicer silverware on the table. Keep that in mind when you prepare the meal."   "You may decide the menu, but I will also test you with placing the nicer silverware on the table. Keep that in mind when you prepare the meal." You instruct her and she seemed to become a littler uncertain.   “Ah... ah haven't been doin' it right, have I?” She seemed to deflate after a moment. “Ah know from when ah stayed with Uncle Orange that there is an order... ah just couldn't remember it...”   “I know you've been trying...” You think she could do with a little more instruction. Or you could let her try to figure it out on her own and explain what she did wrong afterward.   What do? 1, 3 or 7 decides   >Tell her you'll follow right behind her as she practices setting the silverware again, gently advising her if she makes an error and showing her the correct way. Tell her there's no penalty for messing up here.   “I'll help you... go ahead and set one of the places... Don't worry, there isn't going to be a penalty for messing up here.” You explain before instructing her to bring out the table settings. You patiently watch as she set out the napkin and began depositing the silverware upon it. The knife went into place without any trouble and you make an approving noise as she flipped it so the blade was facing the plate. As she reached for one of the forks, you placed a gentle hand on her own. “Were you planning on serving a salad first?”   “Well... yeah.” Applejack replied, fork still griped in her hand. “We got plenty of greens for it and there's gonna be a crowd tonight.”   “You've picked the right fork for it, actually...” You guide her hand so she can see the leading edge of the fork. “This is known as either a salad or dessert fork. You can tell because the first tine is thicker than the others and it's shorter. The tine is thicker so you can cut with it, since a salad isn't typically eaten with a knife. This fork goes on the outside of the two since it will be used first. That's the general rule... outside in.”   “Working from outside in?” Applejack repeated and you smile with a nod. “So the fork fer desert would be closest to the plate?”   “No... when it's time for dessert, you'll be bringing a fresh set of dessert forks when you serve it.” You explain and she nods in understanding. This wasn't the only way to do that, but it'd be best not to unnecessarily confuse her. “One more thing... you've been serving everything on one plate up until now. Tonight, you'll be bringing salad out first as an appetizer, but keep in mind that you may be called on to serve it at any point during the meal.”   “Alright, ah think ah got it...” Applejack nodded as you inspected the table settings. It would serve your purposes and if you needed to, you could instruct her on a stricter setting later. “Thank you... now ah'd better see to actually making dinner...”   You give her a dismissing nod and you notice that she seems a bit more confident than she did before. But for now, what should you do while you wait?   2, 6 or 9 decides
