Title: Anon's Rarity Story- Not mine Author: dirtymuffin00 Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/GKJbamHG First Edit: Saturday 6th of September 2014 11:19:40 PM CDT Last Edit: Last edit on: Monday 26th of January 2015 06:03:59 PM CDT Same as the other story, this one isn't mine. I'm just holding it so that the author's work doesn't fade away and so that the updates can be published here, at least until the author gets a pastebin set up   >You are Anon. >You've only started living in Ponyville due to some recent mumbo jumbo that you don't want to talk about. >But hey, you're in Equestria because of it so who are you to argue? >In terms of living situations, you find yourself bouncing between Twilight's castle and the Carousel Boutique. >Both Rarity and Twilight were fond of you using you as a test subject in one or another. >You didn't mind yourself as they gave you a place to live. >Speaking of Twilight and her friends, they seemed apprehensive but after seeing Twilight accept you, they were quick to warm up to you as well (other than Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie of course). >Applejack in her typical friendly nature, gave you work and free apples from time to time. >You weren't as athletic as you liked so you catered to Rainbow Dash by watching her practice her tricks. >Her daredevil side ate it up as you cheered for her when she did her stunts. >Fluttershy still being a scaredy pony didn't warm up to you as quickly as the others. Ah well, it'll happen eventually. >Pinkie Pie was Pinkie Pie, bouncing around, giving sweets, and throwing parties. >You occasionally attended her parties but you felt more comfortable less people. >However, as friendly as the others were, Rarity and Twilight were your best friends. >Being their test subjects, you spent way more time with them allowing you to get closer to them, way faster than the other. >Twilight mainly took notes and asked you questions about Earth. >Rarity asked questions as well but used them to create clothes and new fashion lines. >You sat on your bed located in one of the numerous rooms that Twilight's Castle contained. >Again, images of the white mare came to you. >Rarity... >The Prim and Proper Fashionista of Ponyville. >If you didn't know any better (or watch the show), you'd think she be a Canterlot Mare herself. >Quite ironic you think... if you knew the actual meaning of the word "irony." >Rarity... there's something about her that piqued your curiosity... >You don't know why. >It was at the tip of your tongue every time you saw her but it just wouldn't come out. >Your thoughts were interrupted when you heard a voice call out to you. >"Anon, are you ready? Once Spike and I are finished triple checking the checklist, we're going to head out! >It was Twilight. That meant it was time for the weekly picnic. >Oh well. >You'd dwell on it later. >You had a picnic to get to. >It was nothing special, it was just a regular thing that the girls had going on and decided to let you join in on it as well when you came to Ponyville. >You hopped off the bed and got dressed. >Flannel shirt, jeans, and some sneakers. Casual clothes for a casual outing. >When you had arrived in Ponyville, it was no surprise that Rarity and Twilight were the most excited. >Well, somewhat of a surprise for you when it came to Rarity. >You'd think she'd be scared of you in a xenophobic manner. >But nope, she was up at the front of line with Twilight. >You couldn't help but be a little bit biased due to the show's portrayal of her. >Well, the unheard word never hurt anybody, you suppose. >You found yourself constantly dragged between their two homes and bombarded with questions. >Along with that, your body was completely at their mercy. > Twilight hooked you up to machines and doodads you didn't think possible in Equestria whilst Rarity took countless measurements and tried to see how horse clothing would fit on you. >Needless to say, it didn't go well and you two never felt comfortable around saddles ever again. >However, if one thing was true, it was Rarity's way with clothes. >How Twilight is to books, AJ to apples, and Fluttershy to animals, Rarity was to fabrics. >When she decided to make clothes for you, she took your clothes, and instantly unwoven as if to bring them down to their most basic components. >Even though you were naked, you were too awestruck to care. >Rarity just took a look at the fabric, as if scanning them, and instantly put them back together again. >Moments later, she reproduced them instantly and flawlessly. >On a side note, you were happy that you ended in Equestria with decent clothing (vest, button-up, and jeans), if you were in your more nerdy apparel, that would have been a problem. >And ever since then, you found yourself visiting her more and more often just to see her work her magic. >"Anon! If you don't hurry up, we'll leave without you!" >Twilight interrupted your thoughts again. >Enough of that, you wouldn't want her to be running late because of you. >You took one last good look at the mirror before heading out. >You met her at the door. >She was carrying a picnic basket with her magic. >It was just the two of you as Spike was off on his usual Canterlot business. >Not even Twilight knew what that was. >Weird. >"Took you long enough Anon! It's my turn to set it up so I have to be the first one there. Don't want the girls wondering where we are do you?" "Sorry Twilight, I ended up spacing out." >"Well, don't let that be a common occurrence when other ponies are waiting for you. C'mon! Let's get going." >As you and Twilight walked, you looked around as you would usually would on a walk. >It was a pretty nice day. It had to be, you were having a picnic after all. >The sun was shining and there was barely a cloud in the sky. >You noticed other ponies going about their day; the CMC going crusading, Big Mac selling apples, Derpy delivering mail, etc. >It wasn't long until you and Twilight arrived at your destination. >Using her magic she was able to set up everything in a snap: the cloth, the plates, etc. >You assumed that the others (or at least Ponka and AJ) were bringing the food or their presence. >Time passed some more and the others showed up. >"Hey everypony!" >"Why hello there." >"Oh... hello." >"Howdy!" >"Sup?" >You and the girls shared greetings and started eating. >Other than some small talk, it was just a normal meal with friends. >You usually found yourself quiet during these types of things. >It made sense, you've only been here a while and just started getting used to living with these colorful quines. >Still, it was nice. >"Oh Nonny!" >You found yourself being interrupted yet again by Pinkie this time. >"What do you think you're doing sitting here and not talking you silly goose?" >You grinned sheepishly as the attention was all focused on you. "Well, I don't really have anything to talk about. I'm fine just listening to you girls talk." >"Nonsense, my dear Anon," Rarity spoke up. "Surely you must have something to add. Have you done anything important lately?" "Well I've only been helping you and Twilight as of late, I really got nothing else other than that." >"Ah yes, silly me. How could I have ever forgotten?" >"Ever since Anon has arrived here, I've been feeling more inspired than I have ever before thanks to his help! I've been creating so much I might as well have started a fashion Renaissance all by myself!" >Hearing that praise put a smile on your face, you were worried that you wouldn't be able to find a place here. Looks like those worries were for nothing. >"Speaking of which, Anon are you still coming over tomorrow morning? I thought it'd be time to try and replicate that vest of yours." >That's right. >Once you started frequenting to watch, Rarity thought you might as well be useful if you were going to be spending time there. >So you were either an assistant, giving her some of your clothes for her to absorb information of, or someone to bounce ideas when it came to her human designs (aka you).   "Sure Rarity. First thing tomorrow right?" >"Indeed. I look forward to seeing you bright and early." >After that exchange, the picnic ended but your day was far from over. >Soon afterwards, you found yourself being dragged off by Rainbow and Penka. >Seems like you three were going to pull some pranks on some unsuspecting ponies. >After a few hours of tomfoolery and getting chased by an upset Applejack (Note to self: snake in cowboy boot, funny; Snake in Cowpony hat, not funny) you found yourself back at the crystal tree castle. >"Welcome back Anon." Twilight greeted you as you came in. "Hey Twi. Listen, how about no tests for tonight considering that I'm sore and I needed to escape an angry apple farmer?" >She chuckled at your misfortune "Okay, I'll set those aside for another time. Good night." "Night Twi." >You returned to your room and plopped into bed and fell fast asleep.     >You woke up bright and early. >You got out of bed and looked outside. >It was a bit after dawn, the sun was barely above the horizon. >You had gotten quite used to it living with Twilight as she had woken you up early very often to conduct tests as well as being awakened to the noise of her and Spike doing their errands and whatnot. >After showering and getting dressed, you walked downstairs and was greeted by no one. >Odd. >Twilight must have a lot of stuff to do if she's out this early. >You headed to the kitchen to make some breakfast and found a note. >"Hey Anon. If you're reading this note, I'll probably be gone. I was called into Canterlot by the Princess in addition to picking up Spike. I'll see you later this evening. -Twilight" >Makes sense. >You made a light breakfast of eggs and toast and headed to the boutique. >After arriving at the boutique, you found yourself at the front door.   >Be Rarity. >You were enjoying a good night's sleep after filling out an order. >Keyword: were >As if by instinct, you jumped out of bed. >You knew what could make you jump out of bed like this: Sweetie Belle was cooking. >You rushed out of your room and almost down the stairs when it hit you, there's no way that Sweetie could be cooking. She was spending the night the other Crusaders. >Plus, the food smelled too good for it to be Sweetie's cooking. "Who's there and why are you cooking? Just because I am a lady, doesn't mean I don't know how to defend myself!" >A familiar voice responded. >"Hey Rarity! Good morning!" >Thank goodness, it was just Anon. "Anon, you scared me! I thought Sweetie Belle was burning down the kitchen again! >"Sorry Rares, the front door was open and I was born, so I decided to cook you breakfast" >That statement brought a smile to yourself. >Oh Anon, so thoughtful. >You were about to go down to meet him until you passed a mirror. >Your body froze instantly. >In all the excitement you forgot about your morning routine and most importantly your make up! >You had to get ready, nobody except Sweetie Bell has ever seen you without it and you were most definitely not having Anon be the first one to do so. >"The food is finished Rarity! Aren't you going to come down and eat?" "In a minute darling! I'll be down there soon, promise!" >You zoomed back to your bedroom and applied a light make-up job. >It wasn't anything special and hopefully Anon wouldn't notice. >Be Anon again. >You arrived at her house early and decided to cook her breakfast. >Apparently, you almost gave her a heart attack because she mstakened your cooking for Sweetie Belle's. >Now you're just waiting for her to come down. "Rarity? I know I scared you but your food is going to get cold if you don't come down soon!" >"I'll be down in a second Anon!" >After a few minutes, she finally came down. "About time Rara." >"Oh, you shush your mouth Anon." >She gave you a playful wink. >"Now, all that left me hungry so let's eat." "I already ate before I came here, so I just cooked for you." >"Oh, thank you Anon. It's not that often that someone other than Sweetie Belle cooks for me." "Heh, hopefully my cooking is better than Sweetie Belle's." >"It has to be, it smells divine." "It's just eggs Rarity." >"Well, my sister can burn juice." "Point taken." >As she sat down, you stood off to the side and watched her eat. >You spaced out and ended up staring at her. >Her appearance was flawless as per her standards. >Rarity caught your stare as she was eating. >"Is there something wrong darling?" "Nothing really." >You gave a small chuckle "You just look good for someone who jumped out of bed and nearly had a heart attack. >Rarity flipped her hair with one of her hooves. >"Regardless of the circumstances, a lady must always look as proper as she can be." "Is that why you took your time coming down?" you said, half jokingly and half accusational. >"Why yes, is that a bad thing?" >Her eyes turned sour and her tone was laced with the tiniest bit of anger. >You were able to notice it and decided to lay off of it. "Whoa Rarity, I was just curious okay? I didn't mean anything by it, honest. Like I said, you look good. It's just a bit early for that. Sorry if I offended you." >Rarity's faced returned to a neutral expression. >"It's okay Anon, I forgive you." >After she said that, she looked down at her food, her face turning somber for the quickest second. >You caught that and crouched down next to her putting a hand around her. "You okay? Anything you want to talk about?" >She snapped out of whatever mood she was in and instantly cheered up. >"It nothing Anon, thank you though. I'll keep your offer in mind if I need it." >As Rarity finished the meal you cooked for her, a thought lingered at the back of your head. >It's the same feeling you had when you first came here and started living with Rarity and Twilight. >Ah well. >It'll come to you sooner or later but as of right now, it's not that important. >Rarity put the dishes in her sink, to be washed later. >She smiled at you. >"Thank you kindly for the breakfast Anon." >You smiled back at her. "It was my pleasure." >"Oh is that so? Then I hope you don't mind doing this more often?" "I don't know, the more I do it, the more you'll associate it with my cooking. And the next time Sweetie Belle decides to cook breakfast for you..." >A look of terror donned Rarity's face and you couldn't help but laugh at it. >She turned red at your laughter. >"Anon! That is not funny!" "Hahahahaha! I'm sorry Rarity, but the look on your face is priceless! OWWW!" >You felt a sharp pain in your ass. "Did you just poke me with a sewing needle?" >Rarity was red with anger and embarrassment. >"Yes, I did and I will continue to do if you keep up with your uncouth laughter." "Hahaha! OW! Okay! Ow! Okay! I get it. I'll stop!" >Your laughter slowed down into giggling but at least she stopped stabbing you in the ass. >"Now, if you don't mind. Let's get started on what we originally planned to do?
