>You're still trying to get adjusted to the new college routine you have.
>You don't know a lot of people here yet, just the popular people such as Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry, but you get along with these two just fine.
>You also managed to make friends with a group of six girls.
>One of which is your roommate, Rainbow Dash.
>She seems to be an alright roommate so far.
>Her biggest trait you've taken note of  is how undeniably loyal she is to her friends.
>And apart from being annoying every now and then she's a good girl.
>Speaking of which where is she?
>She was supposed to be back from Sugar Cube Corner by half ten, which was half an hour ago.
>You'd go to this get-together the group had were it not for your assignments holding you back.
>Right now the least you can do right now is listen to some music and lay down on your bed for the time being.

>You manage to get through a few songs before hearing two loud knocks on the door.

>You struggle to get out of your comfort zone before hearing the door knock twice again.
"I'm coming, just give me a damn second!"
>You finally get out of bed and make your way to answer whoever's knocking.
> You open the door and you are immediately shocked to see who it is at the door.
>It's a big bulky police officer.
>"Are you Anonymous?"
"Yes?"
>"And does Rainbow Dash live here?"
"Yes. Why'd you ask?"
>The police officer in front of moves to his right to show you another officer standing behind him.
>And beside this police officer is Rainbow Dash.
>"Ooooooooh, h-heeeeeey...Anon...*hic*"
>"Found her waltzing around like this on the streets," The cop standing next to Rainbow states.
>The way she talks. The way she's losing balance every second. How she smells.
>You can't say your surprised by this but even so, you're still disappointed that she got drunk out of her mind like this.
>"Y-you can let...me go now...*hic*," Rainbow says to the police officer beside her as she tries to walk into the apartment only to fall into your arms.
>"You should've been*hic* there, Anon. It wassssss.........wiiiiiiiiild...*hic*."
>"Next time try to take care of your girlfriend, Anonymous." One of the police officers says walking away from your apartment.
"What?"
>"We're not...quite there yet *hic*, but we're getting there!"
"What!"
 
>Rainbow lets go of you and walks to the couch where she'll be spending the night on most likely.
"I can't believe you let this happen, Rainbow," you say to her whilst locking the front door.
>"What? Can't I h-ha- get a LITTLE drunk every once in a while?"
"A LITTLE drunk? Ok, first of all, you're drunk out of your mind, Rainbow. Second-"
>Whoa, whoa...whoa...I-I'll have YOU know...I only *hic* had...one...two...maybe seven or eight drinks but-"
"Wait, what? Eight drinks? I thought you were having a get-together, not a fucking frat party."
>"Oh just *hic* chill, Anon. It's Saturday tomorrow so it's not like-"
"Saturday? SATURDAY? It's fucking Monday tomorrow."
>"Oh.........Oh shit............*hic*."
"Oh shit indeed, and last I checked your behind on your assignments so good fucking luck finishing them before college tomorrow."
>"Don't *hic* worry...I got this allllllll...underrrrrrrrrrr..." and with that she passes out on spot.
>You sigh and walk up to her unconscious body.
"You're real piece of work, you know that?" you whisper to yourself looking down to Rainbow Dash.
>As annoying as she can be sometimes, she still a good girl.
>You carry Rainbow Dash (who is surprisingly lighter than you thought) to her room.
>She may have made a huge mistake but that doesn't mean she should be left how she was on the couch.
>Actually, yes it does, but you've always been a good Samaritan so you feel condemned to get your roommate into her warm bed.
>You enter her room and make your way to her bed to which you place Rainbow Dash in.
>You wrap her bed sheets around her to which she can immediately feel and she snuggles into them.
>Just when you're about to leave you here her mumbling in her sleep which you found to be so cute.
>She always did this when sleeping and it always reminded you of your little sister.
>What you'd give to see her again.
 
>Before you leave Rainbow's room you look at her and whisper to yourself "Goodnight, Dashie."
>You see her smile a little in her sleep. She must be having a good dream.
>You close her door and make your way to your room where you'll be getting some shut eye.
>You sit on your bed thinking about everything that has happened recently.
>And what might happen in the future.
>Not exactly sure why you do this now but you do it anyway.
>You certainly feel a lot happier ever since you moved into Canterlot.
>Your new friends are the friendliest people you met in a long time.
>A lot better than your old friends, that's for sure.
>But something about Rainbow makes you the happiest.
>When you first met her you didn't think much of her, other than her crazy rainbow hair.
>But the time you two have spent being roommates has really changed your perspective of her.
>She's a lot more open with you than anyone else in the group so that's a good sign that she trusts you.
>Some of the things she does are pretty amazing too.
>You don't really know what it is with her but something about her makes you feel things.
>She just seems to be the most exciting person to be around with in the group (other than Pinkie).
>You lie on your bed and pull out you phone and put on one last song  before going to sleep.

>You struggle to open your eyes, but after a second or two of trying you eventually regain consciousness.
>You're now fully awake after what felt like a half decent sleep.
>You really don't want to get out of your bed to get yourself ready for college today.
>It's just another Monday morning but you gotta do it.
>After what feels like a war you manage to get out of your comfort zone and check the time on your phone.
>It's 8:45am.
>College starts at 9:00am.
"Oh fuck," is all you can say to yourself at this point.
>And like that you make like a bat outta hell and put on your clothes and proceed to get everything else ready.
>But before you do you gotta wake Rainbow up.
>You enter her room, walk to her sleeping and try to wake her up the best way you can.
"Rainbow wake up! We're gonna be late for college!" you yell to her.
>And with that she jumps out of her bed and looks at you.
>"W-why did you- Wha-what time is it?"
"It's nearly nine. We've got less than fifteen minutes to get ourselves ready for college. Come on, let's go."
>"Oh Jesus fucking Christ, I'm sorry!"
"It's fine, let's just focus on getting ready right now."
>For the next five or so minutes you two get as much as you can ready for today.
>You're a bit surprised she isn't hung over from last night, but you don't question it.
>The more active she is the better.
>This isn't exactly what you had hoped for this morning but then again you don't really know what to expect anymore.
>You finally gather up the essentials and are ready to get going.
"Ready, rainbow?"
>"Yeah, dude. Let's go."
>You two walk out of the front door and then you lock it just before you leave.
>As great as Rainbow can be you still don't trust her with looking after a pair of keys, especially the keys to the apartment.
>And she doesn't blame you after what happened last time.
 
>The both of you get out of the apartment as fast as you two can and sprint to class.
>Granted she's A LOT faster than you are she tries to slow down as much as can for you.
>You can tell every time she does this she gets a bit annoyed with you.
>"Come on, Anon! We're almost there!"
>As soon as she yells that it makes you speed up a little.
>As well as being really good at sports, playing guitar and getting the both of you in situations like this she is also good at cheering people on.
>Something about the things that she does gives you good vibes half the time.
>After what felt like an eternity of running you two manage to make it to class on time.
>The both of you wait outside the classroom for a minute to catch your breath.
"We made it...With only...Two minutes left to spare." You try to say while taking deep breaths.
>"Yeah...hehe, I didn't think we were gonna make it."
"Me too. It was defiantly a close one."
>There's a silent moment between you two a for a few seconds before Rainbow speaks up.
>"Hey, Anon. About what happened last night. I'm really sorry about that."
"It's alright. Don't worry about it."
>"I'm not, it's just...How could I be so stupid?"
"It was a mistake, Rainbow. The least you can do is learn from it and not make that mistake again."
>You're not exactly sure if what you said made things better or worse but it's all you can think of saying to her right now.
>"Thanks, dude.  Well, we shouldn't wait out here for too long. What's say we get inside?"
"Good idea."
>Before you walk into the classroom Rainbow holds out her fist signalling you to give her a fist bump.
>You don't hesitate into giving her exactly that before entering the room.
>Something about that makes you feel accomplished inside.
>The both of you walk into the room just in time for the register.
>You take your seats at the end of the classroom and answer the teacher when she call out both your names.
>Maybe today won't be so bad after all.
 
>Half the day goes by as any other Monday morning.
>You and Rainbow Dash get through the lessons as usual and eventually lunch break comes.
>You and your roommate proceed to walk outside to the front yard and join your group of friends where you guys usually meet.
>As both of you make your way to meet your friends Rainbow decides to start a conversation to keep things lively between you two.
>"So, Anon. About last night."
"This again? I told you, Rainbow, don't worry about it, it's fine.
>"I know but there's something else I wanted to mention. When those two police officers were leaving they said-."
"I know what they said. Something about us being together and me taking better care of you or something like that."
>"Yeah and then I said something like 'we're getting there' didn't I?"
"Yeah you did. You were literally drunk out of your mind last night. Couldn't tell if you were being serious or not."
>"Yeah..."
"What made you ask about this?"
>"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to set the record straight, is all. make sure we're still cool, you know?"
"Yeah, of course everything's still cool with us. I wouldn't let a small mistake like this get between us both. You know that, right?"
>"Yes I do. Thanks again, Anon."
>For some reason you can't help but think that there was more to that quick conversation than just 'setting the record straight'.
>You don't want to imply anything so soon but something tells you there was more to that conversation than that.
>And how Rainbow acted during that conversation.
>You hope you didn't say anything to offend her. That would be the last thing you'd want to do is making her feel bad about something.
> As the both of you continue walking to your group of friends you feel something nudge you're left arm.
>Knowing Rainbow for this long you can tell that was her nudging you as a joke.
>"You big, dumb, doofus." Rainbow says to you playfully.
>You can't help smile at this and nudge her right arm a little.
 
>The both of you carry on laughing until you get to your group of friends outside in the front yard.
>"NONNY! DASHIE! YOU'RE BOTH HERE!"
>Figures Pinkie's the first to notice you both.
>Sometimes you swear she has the eyesight of a hawk.
>The others take notice and greet the both of you.
"Hey guys. So what you guys talking about?"
>"Oh, we're just talking about the get-together we had last night." Twilight responds.
>"Shame you couldn't be there, Anon. Ah' figured you would've loved it."
"I know and I'm about that. college work kept me busy and-."
>"Oh shit!" You here Rainbow shout all of the sudden.
>"I completely forgot about the physics assignment I was supposed to do."
>You now remember that she did have work to catch up on.
>That had completely slipped your mind this morning.
>"Rainbow Dash, calm down. DO you need my help?"
>"Yes please, Twilight. I need this work done fast."
>"Alright. Me and Rainbow are heading down to the library now. You guys wait there. We'll be back soon."
>You and everyone else acknowledges this carries on with what they were doing before Rainbow Dash shouted.
>There's a second or two of silence before you try to make conversation with the group.
"So how was that get-together last night?"
>Before anyone else can say anything Pinkie Pie intrudes and tell you about last night.
>OH,ITWASAMAZING,ANON!YOUSHOULDV'EBEENTHERE,ESPECIALLYWHENRAINBOWGOTDRUNKANDCONFESSEDHERFEELINGFORYOUANDALMOSTTRASHEDTHEPLACERIGHTTHENANDTHEREAND-."
"I get it, Pinkie. It was fun and- wait, what was that about Rainbow confessing her feelings for me?"
 
>"Yeah! You should've been there, she was-."
>Before she can finish her sentence AJ covers up her mouth stopping her from telling you more.
>"Can you give us a minute?" AJ says with a nervous smile.
"Uh, sure."
>AJ walks a few metres away from you and calls Rarity over to talk with Pinkie.
>You're left with Fluttershy who's sitting down on the floor by the college statue.
>You're not sure what that's all about but it involves you and Rainbow Dash.
>You stand there in silence next to Fluttershy wondering what actually went down last night at Sugar Cube Corner.
"So, Fluttershy, what was that get-together like last night?"
>You might as well try to make conversation with her rather than have the awkward silence of waiting for the other three.
>"Oh, it was nice. I liked it."
"Really?"
>"Yeah. Although things did get a little out of hand when Rainbow starting drinking."
"Why did you guys have drinks last night?"
>"We didn't, but Rainbow Dash did. I have no idea where she got all that beer from but she brought it over hoping we'd all have a drink together. We said no and I guess she must've had all of it herself."
"Jesus Christ, why did she do that?"
>"I don't know. I only hope she's alright."
"She's alright. I've been with her all day up until now."
>"Oh thank goodness."
>The others walk back from their private conversation.
>"Sorry 'bout that. It's just that a lot's been happenin' recently. And as far as what Pinkie Pie said, I wouldn't worry about that right now."
"I understand, AJ.
>Or at least you think you understand what's going on right now.
>At this point you have no idea what's going on.
 
>The rest of the day goes by as usual and you and Rainbow walk back to the apartment.
"I still can't believe you managed to catch up on all those assignments in just one day, Rainbow."
>"Yeah, well what can I say?  I'm just SOO good at what I do."
"Hmm. Didn't take you for the kind of egg head to finish all of that physics work, Rainbow," you say jokingly to her.
>Haha, well, I didn't do it alone."
"So I heard. Twilight helped you a lot with all that work, huh?"
>"Yeah she did. I still don't know how she does it. She's just SOO smart and fast at this it's unreal."
"No kidding."
>As the two of you continue walking back to your apartment and the night slowly creeps in on the town it quickly gets a lot colder than before.
>And to this you see Rainbow suddenly react to this and shiver a little.
>Natural instinct tells you to offer your jacket to her, and that is exactly what you do.
>You take off your jacket and hold it in front of her to put on.
>"Hmm. Such a gentleman."
"What would you do without me, Dashie?" You say to rainbow jokingly.
>You see a big smile grow on Rainbow's face as soon as you call her Dashie.
>"Thanks, dude."
>After a few minutes of walking you two make it to the apartment building.
>The both of you walk down the hallway leading towards the front door of your apartment.
>You unlock the door and enter inside with Rainbow Dash. But before you can do anything Rainbow hands you your jacket back.
>"Thanks again for letting me use this."
"No problem. And next time try not to forget your jacket."
>"No promises, Anon."
>Something tell you that she's gonna forget again.
