"I've got things under control. Kind of."
"Just let me help Copper." Twilight said as she flew up onto Falken's back and Morgan finished her cereal and then left.
"Where's Morgan going?"
"Most likely away from us Purple. I don't understand how my father and sister cannot stand our relationship."
"I don't either, but I think your dad just doesn't like the nicknames."
"Yes, those do seem to make him physically ill."
"You might want to stir now or you'll burn the pasta."
"Thank you. Well, it does pass some concern though. I thought he'd be a little more accepting of us."
"He is, it's just he doesn't really get along with me very well. He's trying to, but sometimes I just bother him."
"Now that I do understand." Falken said as he was being assisted by Twilight on how to cook.
 
Meanwhile, outside:
Morgan's just sitting out on the porch when she notices Alyona and Terminator out for the afternoon. This sudden change in tactic from the Sukhoi family grabs her attention and she must go to investigate.
"Hey Terminator! What ya up to?"
"Nothings. What are you doings Morgan?"
"Just seeing what was going on with you." Morgan said as she trotted up to the two of them.
"Privet Morgan."
"Good afternoon Alyona. Nice day isn't it?"
"Da, very nice, not used to warmth, can get used to it." Alyona said making Morgan smile along with Terminator.
"We actually runnings to Antonov's. Sukhoi hangar very bare."
"Well there's like four flights of you in one hangar. I would expect your home to be pretty bare Terminator."
"Da, you mind helpings us?"
"No, I've got time. Besides it keeps me away from my brother and his 'girlfriend'" Morgan said putting air quotes around girlfriend as she said it
"Why you say like that?"
"Technically they're not dating. My dad would have the pony polishing Celestia's hooves and scrubbing oil barrels if they were"
"Your father very strange pony"
"But I love him"
"Da, family is family da?"
"Yup, can't live without them right Alyona?" Morgan said
"Da, cannot escape family. Right uncle?"
"Da, cannot find way to avoid. I still live with Flankers. Every times I leave I come back." Terminator said as Morgan was a tiny bit confused as to what Alyona and Terminator were talking about.
"So you two are related?"
"Da, my sister her mother."
"Oh, so that explains why she called you uncle."
"Da, was my task last time to be watchings last T-50 here, but nopony like him anyways." Terminator said as the three of them walk into Antonov's store.
"Greetings, what can I be gettings for you today?"
"Antonov, the supplies back in our home are low again."
"You want the usual stock?"
"Yea."
"Good thing you brought help this time." Antonov said as only one pony in the store had slight difficulties putting together their words.
"Send the bill to the family?"
"Take it out of their funds, if they keep sending me that's what they're going to get. They wonder where all their money goes."
"It keeps them fed, so why are they complaining."
"Some of them haven't grown up yet Anotnov, and that's why they complain." Terminator said making a remark at his family's expense, primarily the Flankers who cannot decide whether they're naval aircraft or land based.
"Morgan, there a package for your brother. It from some Princess Twilight Sparkle."
"Great, I guess I'll take it."
"It also have note. It say do not open until Twilight arrive? You know what it mean?"
"Unfortunately yes, I do. Sorry Terminator, I've probably got to get this home." Morgan said as Antonov gave her a relatively small box to take to your home.
"Is ok. Your brother hoof full, you take very good care of him."
"Most of the time." Morgan said as she went back home.
 
1326 hrs. VTOL hangar.
"So where's Sergei now?"
"Last I hear, near Bristol."
"What's he doing way out there?"
"I not know."
"Well, you want to go get lunch or something?"
"Soundings of good idea." Sasha said as she got up and went out the door before Lightning could even ask where they were going.
Within about thirty minutes the both of them were in Edge of Space, and had their drinks placed before them.
"Why KC not lettings me drink?"
"Because Rex told him not to let you. You're pregnant remember?"
"Da but I knowings my mother drink when she have me."
"Look our child is part Russian and part American, the American part isn't as tolerant to alcohol as the Russian."
"Why you killings my fun?"
"Because I want our child to be born without complications."
"You bring good point." Sasha said as KC came back with their lunch.
"Ya not gonna bug me about denyin ya yer drinks are ya?"
"Nyet, Lightning have very good point."
"Good cause Ah've almost had it with yer askin."
"Not needings that from you." Sasha said as she pulled her lunch over to her making Lightning sigh.
"Thanks KC."
"No worries Lightnin, Ya jus bring that little filly of yers around every now an again."
"This place is family friendly, but not newborn friendly."
"Aw it is durin tha day." KC said protesting against Lightning's single complaint.
"You know it's up to Sasha.
"Ah know. Everythin's up to the lady" KC said with a laugh and then promptly departed before Sasha could yell at him
"I'm still not ready for this Sasha"
"You not ready? You not one giving birth to Lilya"
"And for that I thank you"
"Still, I very excited for her arrival. We bringing new pony into world." Sasha said as she was glowing with pride
"Yea, we are. You know I love you right?"
"Da. You will do fine. As long as you not let sister near Lilya"
"I'd let Morgan care for her before Raptor" Lightning said getting a laugh out of Sasha.
"Morgan better choice than Sergei. Very sad, but true"
"Yea, that is kind of sad. You afraid every problem's going to be solved with Vodka?" Lightning asked only to get a nod out of Sasha.
"Don't worry we'll be alright. We can take care of her. We'll do our absolute best" Lightning said cheering Sasha up. She kind of needed it due to your daughter being a better choice to babysit than Sasha's own brother
Sasha thought and thought for a moment before agreeing with Lightning.
"Da, we do best we can. Hopings for best."
"Yea, if we can't set her straight, maybe Rex and Morgan can."
"I thinkings showings her of sister's mistakes much better way to learn than tryings to scare straight."
"Oh, I didn't think of that Sasha." Lightning said rather surprised at that answer. Show Lilya what happens when you're a spoiled brat and look at the outcome. Considering Raptor's an emotional train wreck, she'd be perfect to show what not to become.
"So who is Sergei looking for if he's gonna be gone for so long?"
"Very old Yakovlev. They say she fight in war with gryphon that went on for years."
"The family ever call her anything?"
"Name not passed on. Unknown. Many callings her Yellow 44 or White Rose."
"Huh, so you don't know anything about her other than those two things?"
"Da, well many say she should be aerobatics, but born fighter, is close enough for most Yakovlevs."
"Oh, well she sounds rather interesting." Lightning said as the two of them were finishing up their lunch
"Oh piss off you annoying cargo pone."
"Be gettings of your shit and be gettings out." Antonov said getting the paranoid Raptor to go through the store grabbing everything she needed and walking back up to Antonov.
"There anything for Mobius?"
"One thing, you payings for this?"
"Yea, I am. What's Mobius got?" Raptor asked as Antonov went into the back to get Mobius' package.
"I jus get packages, not open them. It from Yellow 13."
"What the hell is that pony doing sending Mobius a package?"
"I not know, now pay and be gettings hell out." Antonov said forcing Raptor to pay and then leave his shop.
"Cheap ass Russian!"
"Amerikanskiy shlyukha!" Antonov yelled as Raptor left his shop.
"Fucking asshole." Raptor said as she set her way home. Little did she know, both Terminator and Alyona were still out and walking around.
"Terminator, is that her?"
"Yea, that's her, but I wouldn't approach her, you might scare her."
"How?"
"Remember?"
"Oh right." Alyona said as the two of them watched Raptor walk home grumbling.
"Perhaps after she gets home?"
"She needs to approach you, for your safety you cannot approach her, she may try to attack you." Terminator said as Alyona just sighed and started to walk to your home.
"Alyona! Where are you going?"
"Terminator who the fuck are you talking to?"
"Is none your business Amerikanskiy."
"You're yelling at somepony who the hell are you trying to get the atten......." Raptor said with a little bit of anger until she saw Alyona.
"Oh sweet Celestia...." Raptor said as she started to move even faster towards her home.
"Hey! Make of waitings up! I only wantings to talking to you!"
"FUCK NO! OH HELL NO!" Raptor yelled as she somehow managed to run home with all the things she bought still balanced on her.
"I am not of any harms. I harmless. I unable to carry weapon." Alyona said as the door to Raptor's hangar slammed shut.
 
"Mobius. It's outside."
"So?"
"It was trying to talk to me."
"Then let her."
"No, I don't want to talk to it" Raptor said
"Just talk to her."
"Why the hell should I? So she can finish what the other started."
"No, I don't see a gun port on her. I don't think she can do any harm to anypony."
"Still don't want to talk to it."
"You're going to. You just don't know it yet." Mobius said as he was tired of arguing with Raptor. As soon as Mobius said that, there was a knock on their door. Nora answered it.
"Nora, I needings to talk to annoying Raptor."
"Terminator why do you need to?"
"Because Alyona is very persistent. She not taking no for answer from me."
"She's not going to talk to her."
"I understandings of that. Perhaps if a few hundred bits slipped her way." Terminator said trying to buy Raptor's time.
"How many bits are we talking about here Terminator?"
"Five hundred. Just for you talkings to Alyona. All I askings is you let her talk for five minute."
"That's actually rather tempting five hundred bits for five minutes of my time."
"You accept yes?"
"I .." Raptor said as both Nora and Mobius said yes and Nora shoved Raptor out the door.
"YOU ASSHOLES! NORA WHY'D YOU SHOVE ME OUTSIDE WITH TERMINATOR!" Raptor yelled as she pounded on the door.
"Well, she's kind of cornered Alyona. I'm just going to stand close enough to her to make sure that she doesn't hurt you."
"Thanks Terminator. I just hope she'll listen to me."
"So do I Alyona." Terminator said as he stood by Raptor as Alyona came around from a corner.
"Privet, uh I meanings Hello. I am one you are afraid of, but there no needings to be."
"Stay away from me!"
"Please, let me be showings you I have no weapons. I cannot carry even measly gun.I just like Berkut.
"Stay away!" Raptor said as she backed up against the door as Alyona stayed a somewhat safe distance away from Raptor
"See? I have no missiles, I cannot even carry live missiles, I have no gun, there no port for it. I useless as fighter. I am experimental PAK-FA. I knowings what other T-50 has done to you. Is very wrong. I wantings to apologize for all done by it" Alyona said
"Nnno! Sss stt stay away from me! You're jjj just trying to t tri trick me."
"I promisings I not trick you. I only want try to make better all T-50 ruin. And he ruin you."
"I.. I don't nn need yo your sympathy. You're jj just like him." Raptor said as she was reduced to a stuttering wreck due to fear of a pony that could do her absolutely no harm.
"It hurt my heart to see you as shivering wreck."
"Don't approach me! I'll I'll"
"Be makings of the shootings?"
"I'll kill you!" Raptor said though she has forgotten that due to Nora's anger both she and Nora have offloaded all munitions as so they don't accidentally kill each other. This of course forced Terminator to step into Raptor's line of sight blocking Alyona from view, only to see empty missile racks protruding from Raptor and hearing the electric wine of a M61 that had no ammunition.
 
Terminator was half expecting to be killed in that moment and when he opened his eyes and listened to the rapid clicks of Raptor's Gatling cannon, he was confused as Alyona walked past him and hugged Raptor who was now in tears.
"I very sorry. I understandings why you wantings me gone, but I needings to make apology before I stay here much longer. I here indefinite. I cannot be livings here with a pony who hate me for things I not do."
"Why? Why now? Why are you here now? Of all times?"
"News travel very slowly to Kubinka. Family not tell me of incident involving you, Morgan and Rex. I not know until family send me here. I very sorry it take so long for me to be makings apology to you."
"But you're just like that.... that THING that attacked me."
"Nyet. I cannot do such things if I try. I not wantings to hurt you, only makings things better." Alyona said as Terminator walked up to Alyona and pushed her aside before a large yellow puddle could reach her hooves, though that does mean that Terminator was now standing in it.
"Raptor still scared of harmless pony?" Terminator asked a little annoyed
"Just make it quick Terminator, I know you two are just here to finish the job he started."
"I only here to protect Alyona. Not pleased to be standing in piss."
"So you two aren't trying to kill me?" Raptor asked as she was still very nervous about the situation.
"Why? I say I try to makings things up to you? Killings you accomplish nothings."
"I want to believe you two, but I..."
"I knowings. Is very hard. I look very similar to one who hurt you very badly. If anythings I can do to make feelings better, find Terminator." Alyona said as she walked away leaving Terminator and Raptor on the porch of Mobius' hangar.
"Do not be tryings to hurt my niece. You try and I not one you needings to worry about. Is only warning. Please consider what Alyona say. She is very sorry for accident, and she feel very guilty. Clean self up. You smell of Piss." Terminator said as he now left and went straight home to shower Raptor's pee off of his hooves. Alyona went to your home, and Nora and Mobius opened the door to check on Raptor, who was still shaking in a puddle of her own pee.
"Well she's still alive."
"Smells like pee."
"But she's still alive."
"Yea."
"Raptor come in before some other pony sees you sitting in a puddle of pee." Nora said getting Raptor to stand up and walk to the shower still shaking. The mess of groceries and Mobius' package were put away while Raptor was locked outside, as she did need to face this even if both Mobius and Nora forced her to. It was partially her way back to Nora, and Nora knew that, but she also knew that Raptor would never deal with it on her own unless she was forced, and telling her that talking to Alyona would get her back in Nora's favor, it would have happened for Raptor's own selfish needs, and she'd learn nothing.
 
Today Raptor learned a very hard lesson in judging ponies before giving them a chance. Though as justified as Raptor was for avoiding Alyona, the fact that even a slight chance to see what Alyona was like was rude
1630 Hrs. Your home
There's a very light knock on your door, and it's Thunderbolt who answers it
"Can I help you?"
"Rex or Morgan here?"
"Yea, and you are?" Thunderbolt asked with a little bit of concern with seeing a PAK-FA on her doorstep.
"Alyona. You not concerned with me?"
"Sweetie, I'm concerned with seeing a PAK-FA on my doorstep, both Rex and Morgan have said good things about you. They're in the living room."
"Many thanks uh.. Name?"
"Thunderbolt. Also they're kind of asleep, you're going to need to wake one of them up."
"Many thanks." Alyona said as she walked to where Thunder pointed.
"Rex, Morgan, be wakings up."
"Ugh not now."
"Rex, be wakings up. I talk to Raptor."
"WHAT?" you say as your eyes snap open and turn to Alyona.
"I talk to Raptor today."
"And?"
"She cry heavily and not believe what I say."
"And that doesn't surprise me. You doing alright?" You say as you sit up and sigh.
"Da, feelings like weight off chest. Though her thinkings I trying to trick her is little rude. I hopings that she consider me helpings make things better."
"How? What can be done?"
"I not know, I just wantings to help her not fear me."
"Well, that's going to take time." You say as Morgan stirs.
"Dad, stop talking. I'm taking a nap."
"Morgan, Alyona's here."
"Still sleeping."
"Alyona's here Morgan. Alyona." You say as you motion for Alyona to wake Morgan up.
"Dad stop poking me."
"Is not father."
"Go away. I don't want to get up."
"It Alyona. Lets go fly."
"Alyona." Morgan said as she dragged out Alyona's name and rolled over to see Alyona.
"Let's go fly. I had been talkings to Raptor today."
"Really? You talked to Raptor?"
"Da, I talk to Raptor."
"How'd she react?"
"She try to kill me, but she not carrying weapons. Terminator step in way."
"So that's kind of expected."
"Da." Alyona said, you're waking up a little.
"So we're going up for a flight?"
"Thunderbolt say wake two of you up."
"Oh, I guess naptime is over." You say as you hop off the couch
"So where's Terminator?"
"I thinkings he went home. He push me away from something. It smell like pee." Alyona said as you laugh a little at Raptor's expense for loosing control of her bladder.
"What funny?"
"He's laughing at Raptor for peeing herself."
"So that what Terminator move me away from? Raptor pee self?"
"Sounds like it." Morgan said as you're laughing it doesn't really help that your laughing gets Morgan to giggle. And that just starts the three of you laughing in the living room.
"I can't believe she pissed herself. You're harmless and you made her piss herself."
"Da is funny no?"
"Yea, it's really funny, though I feel bad for Terminator. He probably ended up standing in her pee." You say as the laughing finally calms down.
"Well, she does seem rather calm Rex."
"Told you she's pretty nice once you get to know her Thunder. And once someone breaks her out of the shell she lives in."
"Yea, makes me feel a little guilty for thinking she was up to something. I'm sorry for being a little judgmental Alyona." Thunder said apologizing for being a little apprehensive at the door.
"It ok. I expectings of such."
"You're really sweet for a pony who's got a reputation for being a pain to everypony."
"Was all T-50 fault." Alyona said with a half smile, around you and Morgan, Alyona was completely at home as there were no feelings of anger towards her, just concern and friends.
"Yea, I was pretty worried for Rex when he started to go crazy, and I'm sure he was more concerned about me than anything else."
"Leave the past in the past Thunder. I'd say things are different, but that's a lie." You say as you go over and give Thunderbolt a kiss.
"Oh hey dad, that reminds me of something."
"What?"
"You know how you and I can communicate without any sort of visual or audio clues?"
"Yea. What about it?"
"When Twilight was here, wasn't there a list of things that the two of them couldn't do?" Morgan asked as you start to think, because you know Falken's out with Twilight
"Rex, what Morgan talk about?"
"Oh, it's family stuff Alyona. Excuse the conversation for a couple of minutes."
"Da, I talk with Thunderbolt if ok with you and her."
"Of course. Be careful, make her mad and I'll be patching 30mm holes all day." You say getting a giggle out of both of them.
"Yea, list was age appropriate. Why?"
"COFFIN."
"Nobody's dead."
"COnnection For Flight INterface?"
"Oh that COFFIN. Why do you ask?"
"Falken is equipped with that right?"
"To a very lesser extent than us, but yes. Is there something we should be concerned about?" You ask as there's a sinking feeling in your chest.
"Well, Falken was asking me a few days ago how to initiate a link."
"And you think this is important why?"
"Have you seen inside of his room lately dad? There's nothing but electronics. I think he's upgraded his COFFIN connection abilities with Purple smart's help of course."
"There are no published manuals on COFFIN in Equestria Morgan. I honestly think we don't have much to worry about."
"You really haven't seen his room lately have you?" Morgan asked with a good bit of concern.
"I try to give you kids privacy, which is why I don't pry into your thoughts if I wanted to know what was in your room all I'd have to do is pry into your mind, and let me remind you I can still get in without you knowing Morgan."
"Right but you need to see his room." Morgan said as she lead you to Falken's room and opened the door. she was right, there were electronics everywhere. From vacuum tubes to digital circuitry it was in his room along with stacks and stacks of electrical engineering, pony neurology and biology books.
"Oh shit. That boy is too smart for his own good." You say as you look at his notes and are just barely able to see what he's written, discovered and engineered.
"Dad? What's all that scribbling?"
"It's to keep you and mom from reading it, but not me, Falken and Twilight"
"How can you?"
"This is a variant of my notes from college. I know what most of this means." You say
"And what does it say?"
"Basically COFFIN upgrade. He's also listed out all the steps he needs to change his software so that pony neurology doesn't completely fuck up the hardware meant for humans. Not to mention that he's also outlined how to.... He's figured out how to circumvent my rules."
"Can't you stop him?"
"IT's too late now. He's been at this for a while. Asking you how to initiate a link was the second to last step. Last step was get my approval for him and Twilight to practically date, but this throws everything I've done out the window. Thank god he hasn't figured out our systems."
"So for all we know Twilight and Falken could have already made that first link and the two of them are now connected?"
"It can be assumed. I'll give him credit, that boy thinks on a plane that I cannot comprehend. Though I hope he trusts Twilight enough to let her be in control of him. That's the only reason the link between you and I exists is because I flew you. So I hope for his sake that I don't have to make an emergency flight out to fix his ass." You say as you know there's probably microphones around, he's outsmarted you on constructing the unit, but without your and Morgan's help, it's effectively useless to the two of them
"I knew there was a catch. It couldn't have been that simple. Thank you dad. You've stopped me from doing something incredibly stupid" Falken said on a speaker by his desk, though you 'technically' lied about Twilight having control, you just didn't want Falken to hear that. To the both of you it's a game. A very complicated game of trying to out think eachother, he tries to stay a step ahead of you, and you try to stay a step ahead of him
"Well I am glad you waited. Though I was expecting you to go through with this before I could have told you otherwise. I'm going to take a guess and say this is already constructed and it's all in Purple smart's home"
"That would be correct"
"One of these days Falken you'll get me" You say only to hear him laugh
"I don't think I can outsmart you anytime soon Dad."
"Well it's only going to be a matter of time before you do Falken."
"Well, I won't be linking with Twilight any time soon, as that might be a little hazardous to my health." Falken said as it's now your turn to laugh.
"Well, you could always make a simulator so she could learn how to fly you."
"I guess you're right, but there is a lot I don't know about my own flight characteristics. I don't even know what my cockpit layout looks like."
"And that I do know. If you want me to help you Falken, ask for help. Oh and if you keep going behind my back to build this stuff, I'm going to start monitoring what Antonov orders for you, and if there's something that I don't like, there's going to be an issue." You say knowing how most if not all of these electronics got into your home.
"Heh, I told you he knew how I got all the stuff Purple."
"Shut up. I don't need you rubbing that in my face."
"I'm still right that's about all I care. I'll see you in a couple days dad." Falken said before the speaker cut off with Falken and Twilight arguing a little.
"Well, perhaps he'll learn to talk to me."
"Sounds like Twilight put him up to it."
"Na, we've got this unspoken game, he tries to out think me, and I try to stay two steps ahead of him. It kind of works out. It's always interesting to see what he comes up with. Come on, we should see how Alyona and Thunder are getting along." You say as you leave Falken's room to find Thunderbolt and Alyona talking in the dining room.
"Really? Terminator's your uncle?"
"Da, he not say much about it, but he is."
"I didn't know he had a brother or sister."
"Sister. They not talk. She may have been thinkings I patch things between them. I have own problem to fix."
"Patching things with Raptor right?"
"Da." Alyona said as you and Morgan walk into the room
"Rex, she's such a sweetheart"
"I know she is Thunder"
"Terminator is her uncle did you know that?"
"Until recently no. That's news to me" You say
"Yea, Alyona says the two of them don't get along very well."
"Explains why I haven't heard anything about a sister while I've been doing routine maintenance on him in the past."
"Yes, do you think Terminator will mind if she stays for dinner?"
"Go ask him. Speaking of regular maintenance, I should probably go check to see how far behind I've gotten recently." You say as you realize there's probably two or three day's work for you to do at the shop.
 
So after a short walk you're in your shop and the list of ponies requiring maintenance is rather short. Three Cessna 150 ponies, and a Beech 18.
"Huh, only a day's worth of work. Oh, Beech is coming in, looks like I get to play with radials again." You say as you smile while checking the list. To you any chance to repair or maintain radials other than your mother's was a treat. Many of the ponies swapped to turboprops long before you got there, and you've had to repair those conversions. Though you do cut a deep discount to those who keep their radial engines, partially as an incentive to keep some of that heritage alive and so you could maintain those works of mechanical art.
"Hey Rex, you got a moment?"
"Yea sure Lightning what's up?" You say as you turn around to see Lightning standing before you a little nervously at that.
"Could you uh give me a checkup real quick?"
"Sure, there something wrong with ya?"
"Oh no, I just want to make sure that I'm ready for Lilya. Since she is due in about a month."
"Sure. Anything specific? Because visually I don't see jack shit wrong with you." You say as you walk around him inspecting him and seeing how he reacts.
"No, I just want to be ready."
"You won't be. Trust me."
"Crap, so can you and I just talk for a while?"
"Sure. You've only got about an hour before I need to be back for dinner. We've got a couple guests over."
"Alright. I guess I'm just worried about becoming a parent. I don't know how Sasha and I can handle it."
"You two will do just fine. I'm sure you will." You say
There is a hope that Litvyak is still alive. And it seems like a very good one if Sergei is looking for her. If he found you, he can find Litvyak. Though this gives you a major source of excitement you have to contain yourself and sit still lest Patches finds out and blows all four engines at once. Which would be incredibly difficult since you've kind of replaced the cylinders with much stronger and lighter materials. Though she could probably bend all four crankshafts at once due to your improvements to the engines.
"Rex, are you ok? You look like you're about to bounce off the walls."
"Oh I'm just a little excited from what you've told me. Though I've got to calm down."
"Well how do you expect to do that?"
"I dunno." You say as you start laughing.
It takes you about fifteen minutes to calm down, and by that time you need to go back home and have dinner.
"Take care Lightning. Tell your sister she's a selfish bitch."
"You mean what I always call her?"
"Yea pretty much." You say as the two of you part ways with a laugh
 
1900 Hrs. Your home.
"I was starting to think that Beech showed up and got you working on her."
"You know me a little too well Thunder. Ah Terminator, you're joining us for dinner?" You say as you go and assist Thunderbolt with the last bit of preparations.
"Da, Alyona say we invited to stay by Thunderbolt. Is odd. Invitation from her."
"Terminator your niece is such a sweetheart, she kind of reminds me of Morgan."
"Alyona, you know I don't like it when my sister is mentioned in any sort of conversation." Terminator said, swapping languages on you.
"I know Terminator, but don't you think it's a little rude to not speak in a language they can understand? We are guests."
"Da, you correct. Should not be speakings in Russian. Very sorry I not gettings along with sister very well. But many thanks for invitings us." Terminator said apologizing for his slightly rude outburst.
"It's fine. We understand." You say with a slight smile.
"Many thanks. I never been in your hangar Rex."
"Well, it's a place not a lot of ponies get to come into Terminator. I mean a ton of you knock on my door when there's a problem, but most of the time you can't come in."
"Da, most of time there some problem you needings to fix."
"Mostly mechanical." You say as you and Terminator laugh. Dinner is stuff that the two Russians haven't seen before and were a little tentative about eating it.
"Terminator, it's not going to kill you."
"Da, is just very weird. What this is exactly?"
"It's a lasagna have you never seen one before?"
"What in it?"
"Pasta, tomatoes, bell peppers, I think like three or four types of cheese, tomato sauce, and some spices."
"It noodle and cheese?"
"I guess so. With some vegetables. Would you rather have something else?" You ask with a little bit of concern as you stop eating.
"Nyet, we try it."
"Terminator, it not bad. Taste little funny, but it very good."
"Alyona I trustings you on.... What all over face?" Terminator asked as Thunderbolt and Morgan were giggling, you weren't paying attention to Alyona, but when you turned to her, you started to giggle too.
"There something on face?"
"Da, it red."
"I not leakings fluid am I?" Alyona said as she took a napkin and placed it against her face
"You've got pasta sauce all over your face. If Falken were here you'd kind of see what you looked like" Thunder said still giggling at Alyona
Terminator actually found a little amusement in Alyona's childish actions and started to laugh a little himself, even Alyona starts to laugh. The five of you are enjoying the time spent together laughing at stupid little things, and it turns out, the two of them actually enjoyed the different surrounding than what's inside of the Sukhoi hangar
"Is very good to see different family livings"
"Hey no problem Terminator. How different is it from your home?"
"Very, is like military barracks. Your home much more pleasant, not as harsh. It feel like a home should" Terminator said
'Well thank you. A lot of the decorations inside were done by Morgan and Thunderbolt. If left to me it'd look like the shop. Since someone doesn't let me bring work home anymore since I accidentally got oil all over the new carpets." You say as Thunderbolt scowls at you for bringing up the memory of ruined carpets.
"Rex."
"How was I supposed to know that the engine I brought home had a major crankcase leak? I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it."
"Leave work at work."
"I know Thunder." You say as Terminator and Alyona laugh.
"We goings now."
"Take care you two! Feel free to stop by any time." Thunderbolt said as the two of them departed and you give her a curious look.
"What? They're actually really nice ponies."
"What would your mother think?"
"My mother would hate them."
"I know. You're opening up, being a little more unbiased." You say before giving Thunderbolt a kiss on the cheek.
"Well you, Morgan and Falken don't have a nation behind you. I thought I'd try to be more accepting because of that." Thunderbolt said as you just shake your head.
"Better late than never dad."
"Yea, that is true. How about the three of us go out for ice cream? My treat." You say hoping Thunder will come along.
"Alright, Morgan how late is that ice cream shop open till?"
"Because of me and Luna, they don't close."
"Alright then let's get a move on." Thunderbolt said as she pushed past you and Morgan to get into the sky first.
"Shall we?"
"Chase her down?"
"No let her win for once." You say as you and Morgan chase after Thunder who is currently climbing up and away laughing as she's turning towards Canterlot.
 
2100 Hrs. Mobius' hangar.
"What's all that noise outside?"
"Three ponies heading towards Canterlot."
"Oh, well who's leaving right now?"
"Radar contacts. It's Rex, Thunderbolt and Morgan."
"Well that explains all the noise doesn't it Nora?" Raptor asked as she came out of her room after taking a shower to get the smell of piss off of her. And that was early today.
