Phoenix Wright  -  Bad Ending  
 
 Scene plays as normal, Objection appears, Pans to Twilight who proceeds to exclaim
"I-I-I Ob- I object! I-It couldn't be R-Rainbow Dash, it had to have been someone else"
 
 Trixie simply replies with
"We already proved Cruise Control couldn't have done it Twilight Snarkle, and there are absolutely no other suspects. Face it, your idiot friend Rainbow Trash must have done it, unless of course you have evidence to state otherwise".
 
 The Judge agrees with Trixie stating
"Although I don't appreciate the Prosecutions attitude, she does have a valid point. You can't expect me to let our prime suspect off just on your word Miss Sparkle. Now if I get another outburst from you like that after I have handed down my verdict you WILL be held in contempt of court. Court adjourned."
 
 Twilight just sits there
"..."
 
 Trixie then proceeds to further mock Twilight
"Hahahaha, that’s what I thought Twilight Snarkle. Now let THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE bask in her victory."
 
 (Phoenix Wright to himself)
"I'm sorry, Fluttershy I caused you such grief and even made one of your best friends hate you, Rainbow Dash I let you down and allowed someone to frame you for a crime you didn't commit and for causing you to lose trust in one of your friends, and you, my new friend, Twilight. I was your last hope, I was the one you turned to in your darkest of days and I failed to be what you needed me to be. I know your friend was innocent but unfortunately I wasn't able to find the real culprit and shed light on the truth. So, you and your friends are the ones who have to suffer because of my failure.”
 
 Guards forcibly escort out an enraged Rainbow Dash as she protests
"What’s the big idea!? I didn't do it! Twilight, you gotta stop them! HHHHHEEEELLLPPPP!!!!"
 
  Trixie mockingly says
"Oh my, this alone has made it all worthwhile, hahaha!"
 
 Twilight just silently sits there and breathes
"Oh Rainbow Dash......"
 
 
 
 
Outside courtroom - June 11th | 10:37AM
 
 Phoenix & Twilight are standing there looking very upset, Trixie comes over to gloat some more
"THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE knew it would be easy to mop the floor with a hairless ape like you Phoenix Wrong, but Trixie was hoping you would be a greater challenge for someone of my intellect and put up more of a fight, at least you knew when you were utterly beaten and allowed yourself to succumb to Trixie's brilliance!"
 
 Twilight very angrily responds with
"Is it not enough for you that my friend is going to be banished to the SUN! Just leave us alone!"
 Trixie laughs and states
"It was never about that multi-coloured idiot, Trixie would have thought even you were smart enough to see THAT but Trixie sees that she has to explain her master plan to a loser like you. Trixie wants you to see just how much smarter, elegant and all around better Trixie is to you Twilight Snarkle."
 
 Shocked, Twilight asks
"You did ALL this just so I would admit you are better than me!?!?!"
 
 Trixie states
"That is correct. Thank you for finally seeing the error of your ways and finally realising that you are inferior to THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE! Now I'm getting out of this culturally backward town before Trixie is seen hanging around with losers like you two by someone important, see you around Twilight Snarkle.”
 
 As she leaves
“Hahahaha!”
 
"Twilight, I can't even begin to say-"
  Phoenix begins
 
  Twilight cuts him off
"No, it’s not your fault; you did your best after all. You'll want sending back now right?"
 
Before Phoenix can respond she begins to cast the spell
 
"No, wait, TWILIGHT!"
Cries Phoenix
 
(the screen is engulfed in a blinding aura before cutting to black.)
 
 Derpy is heard but not seen saying
"Hey, Wait!"
 
 
 
 
Phoenix's World – Phoenix’s Room - June 10th | 10:31AM
 
"Ugh, what an awful night of sleep I had. AH! No wonder I feel terrible after that, I mean I fell asleep in my suit! (What am I, 5 years old!?)"
 
 Phoenix goes to check his clock
 
"Its June 10th!?!? (Wait of course it is, why does that surprise me?), AHH! Its 10:30!?!? I overslept! (Why do I feel like i'm forgetting something REALLY important?) Oh please Maya forgive me.”
 
 
 
 
 
Burger shop - June 10th | 12:28PM
 
 Phoenix shouts
"Why didn't you tell me you were going to be an hour late! I wouldn't have had to get here in such a rush and get soaking wet in the rain if you had warned me."
 
 Maya appears and playfully responds with  
"Ooh, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Whats got you all hot and bothered?"
 
 Phoenix politely but sternly
"I don't want to talk about it. (How do I explain the fact that I don't remember anything after 9PM yesterday to her without worrying her?) Anyway you said you had some work related information for me?"
 
“Oh right about that."
 Maya begins uneasily
"Turns out his 'super important' case she needs you for is to take her neighbors to court about noise complaints from them, ... sorry."
 Maya finishes sadly
 
"It’s not your fault."
 Phoenix says to make her feel better
"Plus anything to pay the bills, right?"
 
"You mean you're going to do it!?!"
 Shouts Maya just a little too loud
 
"We'll see, I'll have a chat with this potential client anyway. Hey look the weather is starting to ease up with the rain."
 
 Maya ignores Phoenix's last statement and awefully says
"Wow, what a beautiful rainbow."
 
"R-R-Rain-Bow?"
Phoenix stutters
 
"Aww, I never knew you had such a soft side Phoenix."
 Maya toyfully says.
 
 Taken aback Phoenix asks
"Wha-what do you mean?"
 
"Don't try to act all macho Phoenix, I saw that tear."
 Maya said while laughing
 
"I'm not crying! (Why do I feel so sad, Its just a stupid rainbow. But still everything has been really weird since I woke up). Um Maya, when you saw me last night, was there anything about me that seemed… weird?"
 
"Well..."
 Maya began
"Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, although there was... No I'm sure it’s nothing."
 
"No please tell me, anything could be important."
 Phoenix says sternly
 
"It's just that when I went over to the office last night, the door was slightly ajar but you weren't there."
 Maya says nervously
 
"AH! w-what time was it when you went to the office!"
 
 Maya shakily says
"8:30PM, why? Is it important?"
 
"Uh, nevermind. You're right, i-its nothing(Argh thats no good, I went out at around that time to grab a coffee)."
 Phoenix says dejectedly
"Let’s go back to the office Maya and have a chat with this client, what was her name anyway?"
 
 Maya cheerily says
"Twilight Muzaki.... Boy you really are being a blubber pants today Phoenix."
 
"Ah, don't worry about me, just got something in my eye."
 Phoenix says dismissively
(Why does that name make me feel so ashamed of myself?) "Come on, let’s go."
 
 
 
 
(Monologue by Phoenix over a black screen)
 
"The client T-T-Twi- Miss Muzaki stormed out of my office after I had to ask her to repeat something for the twelth time.
 
I could see she was contemplating hiring another lawyer to sue me for wasting her time!
 
 It took a long time but now I can finally look at a rainbow in the sky without feeling too disappointed with myself. I was never able to figure out what it was exactly making me get so emotional over something as silly as a beam of colours.
 
Recently the weather has been pretty awful and I can't seem to shake the idea of how I wish something could just... move the clouds to one side.
 
Things have pretty much gone back to normal, however the Judge can't help but mention some REALLY weird things whenever I get a chance to chat with him outside of work, one word he always says to me is 'Equestria'...."
 
 
 
Equestria - Outside court room - June 11th | 10:43AM
 
 Derpy angrily shouts at Twilight
"What did you do that for? I have an urgent package from the princess for that nice man you just zapped! Where is he?"
 
 Twilight (who is very confused) asks
"H-Hey Derpy, what does the princess want with Phoenix anyway?"
 
 Derpy responds in a hostile tone
"Ugh, why make my job so much harder by vaporising clients!?! You know what, you take the letter and give it to him when you see him. I'm going before you make fun of me some more you big meanie."
 
"Ah, w-wait! Der-.. Dit-… sorry! (She’s gone... I don't have time to deal with her, I need to find out what the princess wants with Phoenix, this letter should hopefully shed some light on the subject)."
 
 
 
Dear Mr.Wright,
 
If you are reading this letter then I would like to Congratulate you on achieving what was thought to be impossible and clearing Rainbow Dash's name.
 
I would love for you to come meet me at Canterlot for me to properly Congratulate you on your success, I'm sure Twilight would be happy to escort you here.
 
I wish I was there to be able to see how you managed to clear her name however I unfortunately still have official duties to attend to. I can't wait to see you and Twilight.
 
 
 
“Is this some sort of sick joke by the princess!?!? No wait, not even Trixie could be so cruel as to send something like this (I would hope)) This must be a mess up by the pony express (One guess at who’s fault that would be…), I guess I’ll just visit Celestia myself and tell her the bad news.”
 
 
 
 
(Monologue by Twilight over a black screen)
 
“I went to see Rainbow Dash one last time, Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie Pie were there too but Fluttershy was nowhere to be seen, I wondered where she might be although after what Rainbow Dash said I can understand why she wouldn’t want to see her again.
 
I tried to speak with Rainbow Dash but the guards wouldn’t even let us in the same room as her, we got to see her through a glass window at least, we tried to wave and cheer her up best we could but she acted like she couldn’t see us.
 
It was horrible knowing that I would never get to see her again but what was worse was the fact that I knew it was inadvertently my fault, If Trixie didn’t hate me so much then her vengeance wouldn’t have caused her to blindly portray Rainbow Dash as guilty, I know Trixie herself knows Rainbow Dash would never kill anypony but still she said it herself It was never about Rainbow Dash to her.
 
 
I’m sorry Rainbow Dash…
 
 
…for everything…
 
 
…Good...
 
 
 
 
…goodbye.”
 
 
*sob*
 
 
 
 
Canterlot Castle - June 11th | 11:27AM
 
“And that’s when I got this letter from Der-, one of the mail mares.”
 Twilight informed Celestia
 
“I see, so Phoenix will never know....”
 Celestia sighed
 
“Oh yes I made sure he wouldn’t remember.”
 Twilight said just a little too happily
“I wiped his mind of the events so he would never have to bear the weight of what transpired here.”
 
“I wasn’t talking about that.”
 Said Celestia with just a hint of anger in her voice
 
“P-Princess, Wh-what did you mean then?”
 
“Well there is no way I could banish one of the elements of harmony to the sun. She will be kept under close supervision by the High council, however they have forbidden her to make contact with anypony, even I must request permission to see her and they will only grant me that luxury when she is needed to fulfill her role as the element of loyalty.”
 Celestia tearfully explained
 
“But that’s hardly a life at all, especially for somepony that loves to fly as much as Rainbow Dash!”
 Twilight angrily explained her tone rising
 
 Celestia sighed
“I know that Twilight, and believe me this isn’t the end of it, I will keep trying with all my strength to find a way to let Rainbow Dash live freely, not just because she has become a friend of my star pupil either, but because I know she is innocent, and no innocent citizen who lives under my rule should have to live in isolation!”
 
“But princess, I don’t get it. Why did you need Phoenix to know that? I mean isn’t it better that he can’t remember anything about Equestria, for our sake as well as his own?”
 Twilight asked, fearing the answer
 
“Twilight, no one ever fully forgets, even with your magic, shards will remain, lying dormant in his subconscious, eating away at him. And all the while he’ll have no idea why.”
 
 Twilight simply sits there silently
”...”
 
“I wanted to tell him this so at least he knew that what he had done wasn’t in vain, he gave me enough time to convince the High council to spare Rainbow Dash’s life, if I can do that with just 36 hours, imagine what I can do with 30 years…”
Twilight just awkwardly laughs
“Haha (Oh Phoenix words can’t describe how sorry I am for acting so rashly) AHH! Well why don’t I just bring him back and undo my magic, then you can set his mind at ease right?”
 
 Celestia expected this question but still couldn’t hide both her joy at her pupil’s optimism and the sadness within the  answer she was about to deliver
“If only it were that simple, it was difficult enough to track him down the first time, but we didn’t need to worry too much about when we grabbed him, this time however we could cause a time paradox if we plucked him up at the wrong time and I could never risk the potential consequences of what could happen to our world just to put one man at ease.”
 
 (At this time Celestia notices Twilight becoming painfully remorseful)
 
“Don’t worry my child, there was no way you knew things would turn out this way. You did what you thought was best at the time not just for yourself but also for your new friend Phoenix.”
 Celestia soothingly said
 
“I-I know princess.”
Twilight finally said unconvincingly
 
“Now not to kick you out Twilight but I plan to start my work to help Rainbow Dash immediately, if you don’t mind...”
 
“I understand.”
 Twilight responded with a tear in her eye and leaves the room
 
 (After Twilight leaves)
“Oh Twilight...”
 Celestia empathetically sighed
 
 
 
 
 
(Monologue by Twilight over a black screen)
 
“That day, June 11th, will always be remembered as one of the blackest days in Equestria’s history. The clouds wept for poor Rainbow Dash even though we weren’t scheduled for rain, it’s the only day in recorded history that the weather teams couldn’t control the weather.
 
I spent the rest of that day chasing my friends all over town to try and cheer them up, to tell them Celestia saved Rainbow dash’s life. Pinkie Pie was optimistic about the news but Applejack and Rarity weren’t convinced, and Fluttershy, well I couldn’t even talk to her for days, she locked herself in her cottage, still ransacked by the Police investigation force, and confined herself to the company of her animals until one day she finally allowed us, her friends, to see her and finally talk to her about what happened on that awful day.
 
She perked up when I told her that Celestia had saved Rainbow Dash’s life however she would never be the same unless she could be forgiven by Rainbow Dash, and while I’m sure Rainbow Dash never meant to hurt Fluttershy so much and that she forgave Fluttershy, she felt she needed to hear that straight from the ponies mouth however.
 
It plagues my mind to this day the coldness that Trixie’s heart contained, I tried numerous times to make contact with her and try to understand her motives but she would never talk with me seriously. The last time I talked to her the black locks had disappeared, I took that as my que to leave her be.
 
Every now and again I catch myself thinking of Phoenix Wright, I try my best to remember the good times, as few of them as there were, and while I’ve come to terms with what I did to you  I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.
 
After I sent him away I tried to follow in his footsteps and investigate the case myself, but with only a book that pre-dates even Celestia I didn’t get very far. Even now I hope that our paths can cross again Phoenix Wright, you were a good lawyer, but an even better friend.
 
Life in Equestria quickly settled down for most ponies, and eventually even for those of us close to Rainbow Dash. At first I received weekly updates from Celestia’s investigation and we all met up together and shared stories about our close friend, however these updates and meetings soon became less and less frequent, and then they just, stopped.
 
Only Celestia truly knows why but my best guess and worst fear is that she has come to a stand still in freeing Rainbow Dash.
 
The only thing to remember her by is that every other month on the 11th day, the weather team schedule a Rainbow to appear over the town hall.
 
As a memorial for the thought to be deceased Rainbow Dash.”
