Title: Celestia vs. Anons Parents by Equinox Author: Anonymous Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/YK1AdFiT First Edit: Sunday 28th of February 2016 06:36:40 PM CDT Last Edit: Sunday 28th of February 2016 06:36:40 PM CDT >”This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, folks! For the first time in human history…” >Your dad turned the TV’s volume down and took a sip of his drink, as the news camera panned to show the portal coming online. “Amazing.” >”Hmph.” your father scoffed. “Amazing is right. It’s amazing that our taxpayer dollars were used to fund this fucking thing.” >”Honey!” your mom cut in. “Language!” >He rolled his eyes. “A fictional world from a little girl’s cartoon turns out to be real, and we drop EVERYTHING to establish contact with them? Embarrassing.” >”I agree that Mayor Emanuel should focus on more important issues, but the prospect of alien life is really exciting!” she responded. “What do you think, dear?” “It’s certainly something out of the ordinary. I’ll have to get out there and see what this Equestria place is really like.” >”You’re not stepping foot anywhere near that portal while you’re still living under my roof!” your dad shouted. “I don’t want you dragging any of those alien horses back to my house!” >”John, maybe you should give them a chance?” >”They aren’t like us, Mary. They aren’t human. They don’t deserve a chance.” >Your mother stood up and began shouting at your father, prompting another argument. >That was the fourth time that week they had fought. >You grabbed your jacket off of the coat rack and walked out the front door, slamming it behind you. The sounds of their shouting followed you to the sidewalk.   >It’s been six months since that night >Five months since you packed your things and moved out into an apartment down the street from the portal >Four since you first went through it >Three since you first met her >Two since you began dating >And one until you have to confront them with her by your side >A cool breeze from the summer night quietly blows in through the window of your quarters. >You shudder at the thought of hearing them fight again. These last few months have been so peaceful, and you want this bliss to last. >But you know they’ll go at each other as soon as they lay eyes on her. >You bring your arms back under the warmth of the blankets and turn to face the love of your life. >She’s fast asleep, and a small smirk is on her lips. She loves these warm nights almost as much as she loves you. >You sigh as you wrap your arms around her body, the softness of her fur helps to calm your nerves. >”Honey?” she says groggily. “Is everything okay?” “Yeah,” you groan as you nuzzle against her. “I’m fine. Go back to sleep.” >You hear a light humming sound. >A sudden tug yanks you from your comfortable spot, and you find yourself face to face with her. “You know I hate it when you do that.” >”I’m well aware,” she giggles. “Now, what’s troubling you, my dear?” “I can’t stop thinking about my folks, Celly,” you say, placing your hand on her cheek. “Are you sure you want to meet them?” >She kisses the tip of your nose. >”Absolutely.” “Even though you know damn well my dad is going to flip out?” >”Anonymous, I have to meet them eventually.” she says, draping a wing over your body. “Please, don’t worry about it now. We’ll deal with them when the time is right.” >You sigh and close your eyes. “I hope you know what you’re getting yourself into.” >The smell of smog smacks you across the face as you step through the portal. >Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea to stay in Equestria for four months straight; you got way too used to constant, crisp fresh air. >Cameras begin flashing as Celestia and two royal guards step through and stand by your side >At least it’s a warm welcome. >She nuzzles your neck and places a kiss on your cheek as the two of you begin walking towards an awaiting limousine. >You had some of Celestia’s advisors make the preparations for you, so the trip should go with relative ease. “How does it feel to be back on Earth, Celly?” >She smiles. “It’s nice to be somewhere else for a change. Equestria is a lovely place, but my royal duties have a tendency to get rather dull after a while.” “Don’t worry. You won’t have to meet with any politicians this time.” >”Thank goodness.” >The limousine’s driver opens the door for the four of you to step in, and you promptly do so. >”Where to, sir?” he asks. >You pull a slip of paper (with your parents’ address written on it) and hand it to him. >Camera flashes continue to pursue you as the limo begins to drive away. >The ride to your folk’s house is going to be a while, but you’re already starting to get nervous. >You sigh as Celestia drapes her soft wing over your back. >”Anonymous?” she asks. “Is everything okay?” “I’m sorry, Celly. I’m just really nervous about this.” >”There’s nothing to worry about, honey. We’ll be fine.” “I told you about that night six months ago, Celly. If my dad reacted to first contact like that, who knows what he’ll think about me dating the ruler of another world?” >She nuzzles her cheek against your own >”Whatever happens, Anon,” she says, “We’ll have each other.” >Your parents don’t live far from downtown Chicago, so it shouldn’t be that long of a ride. >But you know damn well it’s gonna feel like an eternity. >The butterflies are already in formation, buzzing around in your stomach like crazy. >This isn’t gonna go well. This is NOT gonna go well… >Even though the wing draped over your back is helping to keep you calm, your body begins to shake and your breathing quickens. >No. Not now. Not in front of her. >She’s never seen you have an attack, and she doesn’t need to. >Get a hold of yourself, man! She can’t see you like this! >Deep breaths, Anon. Deep breaths. >Celestia pulls you closer to her and places her head on your shoulder. >”Don’t think about it now, Anonymous.” she says. “Worry about it when we get there.” “Celly, I don’t think you understand how dreadful this is going to be.” >”You don’t know that, sweetie,” she replies. “You haven’t seen your father in quite some time. He may have had a change of heart.” “I doubt it. My dad doesn’t exactly change his mind a whole lot.” >”Well, maybe today will be the exception.” “I really hope you’re right.” >You wrap an arm around her body as a single tear rolls down your cheek “I really do.” >The two of you sit in silence, listening to the gentle purr of the engine as the limo drives along. >The limo pulls up to a small but welcoming two story home. >Your mother’s Subaru is the only car in the driveway. Dad must still be at work. >Okay, that’s good news. Mom should be much easier to talk with. >You let out a sigh of relief. >The butterflies begin to calm down as the limo pulls into the driveway and comes to a halt. “Celly? We’re here.” >She lifts her head from your shoulder and looks out the window towards your house. >”Oh, such a nice little home!” she says. “You must have had quite the pleasant youth, Anon.” >You smile, reminiscing over memories from your childhood. “It was very nice, but nowhere near as lovely as my time with you.” >She blushes and places a kiss on your cheek. “Alright, so my mom is the only one home right now. It should be easy to get you inside and adjusted without my dad here.” >The limo driver opens the door, and you step out onto the driveway. “Wait here. I’ll bring my mom over to meet you in a minute.” >Here goes nothing. >You walk up the brick pathway to the porch and ring the doorbell. >It’s peaceful dinging is loud enough to be heard from the outside >”Coming!” you hear your mom shout. >You take a deep breath. There’s no turning back now. >The front door opens to reveal your mother’s smiling face. >”Anonymous!” she exclaims, throwing her arms around you. “It’s so good to see you!” “Hi, Mom,” you say, returning the embrace. “Good to see you, too.” >”Come on inside!” she says. “I just finished making some coffee and-” “Mom.” >Her eyes widen with concern. >You sigh. Time to get this over with. “Mom, there’s someone I want you to meet.” >”Someone you want me to meet?” she asks. “Did you finally get yourself a girlfriend? “Well, yes, but-” >”Oh, this is a glorious day!” she shouts. “I’m so happy for you! Where is she? Is she waiting in that limo?” “Mom, I think I should tell you-” >Faster than you thought humanly possible, your mother sprints off of the porch and darts towards the driveway. “Mom, WAIT!” >She comes to a dead halt “Mom, she’s not…” >You sigh as you hop to the ground. This is it. This is where it all comes crashing down. “...she’s not a human.” >You walk towards your mother, who now has a blank expression on her face. “Please, don’t be mad. I went through the portal a few months ago. I went to Equestria, I met her, and-” >”Anonymous.” your mother sternly interrupts. >Gulp. This is it. >”Anonymous, if you honestly think I’m going to be mad at you for finding a loving, caring woman, you’re out of your mind.” >Wait… >WHAT?! >You feel your heart skip several beats as you try to comprehend what she just said. “W-wh-w… what?” >”I don’t care if she’s human or from that world on the other side of the portal. What’s important to me is that you’re happy.” >She wraps her arms around you and squeezes you tightly. >”As long as you’re happy, I’ll support you no matter what.” >You feel a huge weight come off of your shoulders, and you return the embrace. “T-thank you, Mom. Thank y-you.” >”Now, come on,” she says, breaking the hug. “Are you gonna take me to meet her or not?” “O-of course! J-just follow me.” >The limo driver opens the back door, and Celestia almost immediately steps out. >She walks towards your mother, followed by her royal guards, and politely bows her head. >Your mom’s jaw drops to the asphalt. >”You must be Anonymous’s mother!” Celestia says with a smile. “It’s a pleasure to meet you!” >”Y-y-you’re Princess Celestia!” your mother shouts. “I saw you on the news when you were in Washington meeting with the President!” >Celestia giggles. “Ah, yes. Just after the portal first opened! Mr. Obama was quite hospitable! I do hope I made a decent impression.” >”You certainly did! Most of the country was absolutely in love with you!” >One of the few exceptions being your father, of course. >With a huge smile on her face, you mother bows to Celestia. >”My name is Mary,” your mother says. “It’s an honor to meet you, Princess.” >Celestia bows her head. “It’s a honor to meet you as well, Mary.” >The butterflies in your stomach finally subside, and you let out a giant sigh of relief. >”Please, come inside!” your mother says, gesturing towards the front door. “I just made a pot of coffee! There’s more than enough for all of us!” >”After you, dear.” Celestia says, placing a kiss on your cheek. >With an arm wrapped gingerly around Celestia’s neck, the three of you walk into the house. >This is going so much better than you thought it would. >”So, tell me, Princess,” your mother says, pouring Celestia a cup of coffee. “How did you feel when first contact was established?” >”I was absolutely elated!” Celly replies. “The concept of meeting sentient beings from another world so similar to our own was thrilling enough, but for it to actually happen was…” >She shivers with excitement as a huge smile works its way onto her face. >”Oh, it was unbelievable!” >Your mother chuckles. “I can only imagine how exciting it must have been.” >You can’t help but smile as you take a sip of your coffee. It seems Celestia and your mother have already formed quite a friendly relationship. >”Would you like cream and sugar, Princess?” mom asks. >”Yes, please.” >”Princess, I hope you don’t mind me asking,” your mom continues, pouring cream into Celestia’s cup. “But what was it about Anonymous that caught your attention?” >Your eyes widen. This could get interesting. >”Well, for starters,” Celestia begins. “Anonymous was one of the few who greeted me with a bow, and a very gracious one, at that.” >Celestia drapes a wing over your body. >”Most greeted me with either polite small talk or a just a friendly hello,” she continues. “Both perfectly acceptable forms of greeting, but it was nice to see proper etiquette.” >”That’s my boy,” your mom says. “Always so well mannered.” >You can’t help but blush. >”Fortunately, very few people came through the portal that day,” she says. “So Anonymous and I were able to have a very nice conversation, with minimal interruptions.” >You lift your arm and begin lightly scratching the underside of her chin. >”I was intrigued by his genuine curiosity and desire to know more about Equestria, so I offered him a personal tour of our capital city, Canterlot.” >She giggles as you continue scratching her. >”Before I knew it,” Celly continues. “I had shown Anonymous the entire city. He was even introduced to several of my top advisors, including my sister, Princess Luna.” >”A dual monarchy?” your mom asks. >”Yes, indeed!” Celestia answers. “I handle political duties during the day, and Luna takes care of them at night.” >Your mother’s eyes grow large with curiosity. >”Most of my nights are spent recollecting events of the day gone by,” she continues. “But ever since Anonymous moved into the castle, they’ve become much less stressful, and I cannot thank him enough.” “You’re welcome, sweetie.” >She blushes and places a kiss on your cheek. >Your sweet moment of bliss is interrupted by the faint sound of something being closed shut. >”Hm?” your mom says, walking towards the front door. “Is Jonathan home already?” >You freeze as a tremendous feeling of weight falls onto your shoulders and your body begins shaking. >Why the hell is he here so soon?! >Fuck. >Fuck. FUCK. FUCK! “No. This isn’t happening. This isn’t happening.” >Your breathing intensifies and your heart starts beating rapidly. >”Anonymous?’ your mother asks. “Is everything okay?” >You get up from your chair and turn towards your mother. “Ask me that again, and look into my eyes.” >Your mother stops dead in her tracks and turns around. >”Oh.” she says, her voice cracking slightly. “That’s right. Your father-” “Mom, don’t tell me what I already know.” >You search the room for any possible places for Celestia to hide, but there’s nowhere she can be... >Unless… “Celestia, go behind the corner that leads to the hallway, and don’t step back in here until I tell you. I’ll stall him long enough to explain what’s going on.” >Celestia nods her head and quickly trots to the other side of the corner, out of sight. >”Anonymous,” your mom says. “I can tell him to run a quick errand so you’ll have more time to-” ”No, Mom. He’s going to find out sooner or later. There’s no point in delaying the inevitable.” >”Are you sure?” she asks. >You sigh, and take a deep breath in. >Here goes nothing. “Absolutely.” >Your mother opens the door to reveal your father carrying two large grocery bags. >”Honey, I’m hom- hey, Anonymous!” he says, setting the bags onto the floor. “What are you doing here?” “H-hey Dad.” >”What’s the matter, sonny?” he asks, wrapping his large arms around you. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost or something!” “Well, uh… it-it’s a long story, but…” >”Hang on, hang on!” he interrupts, releasing you from his embrace. “Don’t tell me! You… won a couple bucks off a scratch ticket?” “No. Dad, please-” >”Hey, lemme finish!” he continues. “You… finally got off your ass and found a decent paying job?” “Dad, let me explain-” >”Wait, wait! One more!” he goes on. “You… started dating a pretty lady?” “Um… uh… y-yes?” >”HA! I knew I’d get it eventually!” He says, picking you up off your feet. >He squeezes you in a hug so tight you lose all the oxygen in your lungs. “Dad… I c-can’t b-breathe!” >He laughs and sets you back down on the ground. >”Sorry, son, I’m just so happy for you!” he exclaims. “My little man has finally grown up!” >Ugh. >”So,” he continues. “Where is the lucky lady? Did you bring her here? Was she the reason you rented that limo outside?” “Well, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about, dad. It’s… complicated.” >Gulp. This is it. “There’s no point in trying to hide her from you. Celestia, will you come here, please? >The second you finish your sentence, Celestia reveals herself from her hiding spot around the corner. >She walks to your side, a blank expression on her face. You can’t tell if it’s a look of determination or fear. >Your dad’s pupils dilate in surprise, but his expression is otherwise just as blank as hers. >The two are engaged in a staredown, and you can’t tell who’s winning. >”You must be Anonymous’s father.” Celestia says with no emotion in her voice. >”I am.” your father answers, also without emotion. “You must be his girlfriend.” >”I am.” she replies. >Silence. >A lump of nervousness forms in your throat. This isn’t going to end well, is it? >”You’re the Princess, correct?” he continues. “Celestial, right? The one my wife and I saw on the news?” >Here we go again. >”It’s Celestia, but yes, indeed I am.” Celestia answers. >”Hm.” your father sighs. >To your surprise, he actually bows, albeit ever so slightly. >”Well, I must admit, I wasn’t expecting royalty,” he says. >The fuck was that? Was that supposed to be a quip? Some sort of joke? >If it was, it’s not helping. Hell, it just made things a lot more awkward. >”But I also wasn’t expecting to see something from the other side of that portal.” he says. >You feel your heart constrict itself. “Dad, I can explain-” >”You don’t need to.” he interrupts. >Oh, fuck. Here it comes. >”Celestia,” he says with a sigh. “Given your presence in my home and your status as royalty, I’ll refrain from saying anything about this now.” >Your father walks towards you and places his hand on your shoulder. >”Anonymous, I want you to meet me here tomorrow at five. We need to discuss this privately.” “I’m here now, dad. Just say it.” >”No. Saying what I want to say would be rude given the presence of your regal companion.” >Celestia’s face reddens with anger. >”Here. Tomorrow. Five o’clock. Come alone,” he says, taking his hand off your shoulder. “Now, get out.” “Dad-” “You. The horse and her guards. Get. Out.” >He walks past you into the kitchen and opens a cabinet, retrieving a bottle of bourbon. >You wrap your arm around Celestia and rush out the door, slamming it behind you. >You can hear your mother start shouting at him as you high-tail it towards the limo. >The limo driver opens the back door for you as fast as he can, and you step inside. >Celestia and her guards quickly follow suit, >”Shall I drive you to your apartment, sir?” the driver asks. “No. Get us to the portal. Now.” >The limo is silent. >Absolutely and eerily silent >The humming of the engine and Celestia’s deep breathing are the only two things you can hear. >She’s distraught, and rightfully so. A few tears are rolling down her cheeks. >Even her guards seem a little shaken up. >You knew it wasn’t going to end well, but you didn’t expect for it to end that badly. >”A-Anonymous,” Celestia sniffles. “I am so sorry-” >You throw your arms around her and hug her tightly. “Celly, you don’t have to be sorry for anything. This isn’t your fault.” >She wraps her arms around your torso, places her head on your shoulder, and begins to bawl. “Shhh, shhh. It’s okay, Celly. I’m here.” >A few tears begin falling out of your eyes as well. “I’m… I’m here… it’s gonna be okay.” >Your head begins to throb and your ears start to ring. Great. A migraine is just what you needed. >”Are you…” Celestia says, struggling to speak. “Are you going to go back tomorrow?” >You feel your heart sink into the deepest crevasses of your chest. “No. I’m never going back there.” >”But… he’s your father…” “No buts, Celly. As long as he feels so abhorred by our relationship, I’m never setting foot near him.” >Celestia’s body begins to shake, but her breathing slows down. “I’m a grown man. I make my own decisions. I love you too much to let him get in the way.” >You hold her tighter and begin stroking her back. “I love you, Celestia, and no one is going to change that.” >”D-do… don’t…” she stutters. “What? Don’t what?” >She sighs as she wraps her wings around your body. >”D-don’t… don’t leave me.” she says, her voice trailing off into the silence of the limo. >You break your embrace and put your hands on her cheeks, placing a kiss on the tip of her snout. “I won’t.” >Celestia continues to sniffle as the both of you walk through the portal. >Night has fallen in Equestria. >The chill of the air pecks at your exposed skin, making you shiver. “My own father…” >You sigh. You should have known things were going to be ugly. >Celestia stops and takes a deep breath as more tears fall from her eyes. >”Come, Anonymous,” she says, ascending the staircase leading to the castle’s entrance. “I think it’s time for us to retire for the night.” “After the day we’ve had, I couldn’t agree more.” >You follow closely behind her, slowly working your way up the long series of marble steps. >”Princess?” a masculine voice says from behind you. >The two of you turn to see her guards standing at attention at the bottom of the staircase. >Celestia sighs. “My apologies, guards. You’re dismissed.” >The guards salute in unison and trot off into the city. >You turn back towards her. She’s still gazing off at the guards. “Celly?” >”Hm?” “I don’t think we should waste our time walking…” >You lift your arm and poke the tip of her horn. >She smiles and kisses the tip of your nose. “I like the way you think.” >Her horn begins to glow, and in the blink of an eye, you’re zapped to her quarters. >You rip off most of your clothes, excluding your underwear, and plop down onto Celestia’s bed. >”Uuuuugghhh…” >Every bone in your body aches and your muscles are limp. What a great day you’ve had. >Celestia lies down next to you and places her head under your chin. “Mind the horn, Celly.” >”Sorry.” >Her fur feels exceptionally soft against your bare skin >You scratch behind her ear as she uses her magic to lift up the blankets and cover both of your bodies. >The two of you say nothing as you lie in the sweet embrace of darkness. >Just a few hours ago, you were hoping, no, praying that everything would be okay, but now… >Now, you never want to see his face again. >A soft breeze flows in from the balcony, shaking the curtains that adorn the windows. >”Anonymous?” Celestia asks. ”Yes, honey?” >She wraps a foreleg around your body and pulls herself up onto your chest. >”Can you promise me something?” “Of course. Anything for you.” >She sighs. >”Promise me… promise me you’ll try to make amends with your father.” “Why would I do that? You saw him. You heard what he said about you.” >”Yes, I did.” “Then why do you want me to make up with him?” >”Because I know how you truly feel. I’ve seen it in your eyes. You’re conflicted. You don’t want to lose me, but you also don’t want to lose your father.” “Celes-” >”Anonymous,” she interrupts. “If you truly, truly love me, you will go through the portal tomorrow and try to repair the damage that has been done to your relationship with him.” >You sigh. >”That’s all I ask. I just want you to try.” she says. >A tear rolls down her cheek. >“Will you do that for me?” >You answer by thrusting your head forward and plunging Celestia into a deep kiss. >Her tongue begins to dance and interlock with your own, sending you into a lustful trance. >She tastes so delightful, like the sweetest of honeys. >You moan, bewitched by the touch of her silky fur and the movement of her lips. >She pulls away from the kiss and gazes deep into your eyes. “Yes.” >A small but noticeable smile appears on her lips. “I will.” >You wrap your arms around her neck and fall back into a state of delirium as the kiss resumes. >It will be hard to face your father again, but you have to… >...for her.   Fin...
