"'Strip penalty shootout?'" "Jesus Christ Rainbow, how do you even come up with this stuff?" > "So... You're chicken. Hah, I knew it." "Oh, you're on." > You know exactly what you've gotten yourself into, as there is literally no chance of you beating the CHS soccer champion. > Still, you'd rather put up a struggle rather than just walk away. > "Ha, good luck!" Rainbow says with a giant smirk. "I'm going first." > "Go right ahead, it's your funeral." > You both walk over to one of the soccer nets. > You position the ball at one of the penalty lines, and Rainbow heads over to the net. > It's getting a bit late out, and thus a bit chilly. > You gulp, and take a few steps back in preparation for your first shot. "You ready?" you nervously ask. > "Hit me." > You run towards the ball at full speed. > You aren't the fastest runner around, but definitely not the slowest either. > As you are just a few steps away from the ball, you prepare to go in for a kick. > You aim for the center, but you accidentally miss, and hit the ball on the side. > Preparing yourself for the worst, your heart sinks. > If you can't even hit the ball right, how can you possibly even stand a chance? > The ball begins to fly way off to the side, but to your surprise, it begins to curve... > Rainbow sees this, and dives to where she thinks the ball will be. > However, the shot was just too perfect. > As Rainbow jumps towards the incoming ball, her hands just barely miss, and the ball flies straight into one of the corners of the net. > You stand there, your mouth wide open. > You... Actually landed a shot... > Maybe you do have a chance? > Your shock quickly turns into excitement. "Ha, take THAT!" > "What?! Lucky shot." "You bet your ass it was. Now take your jacket off." > "No way, creep." "Hey, it was your idea to play this." > Rainbow's face turns bright red from anger. > "Fine." She says, grinding her teeth. > She takes her blue jacket off, and throws it to the side. > "Go," she says, as she picks up the ball. > You exchange places with her, and she puts the ball down on the penalty line. > You prepare yourself, as she walks back a good ten steps. "I'm rea-" > Rainbow doesn't wait for you to finish, and immediately breaks into a sprint. > In a flash, she kicks the ball with all her rage. > You duck. > The ball flies at a supersonic speed, and whizzes right past you, hitting the exact center of the net. > You were lucky that you ducked, or else it would've hit you right in the face. > "Now THATS a shot." "Calm down Rainbow, you nearly killed me." > Rainbow doesn't seem angry anymore, but now she's standing proudly, as if she'd just won the game. > "Aaanyways, off with your shirt." "Rules are rules..." You mumble. > You take off your shirt, revealing your lightly-toned chest. > You aren't very muscular, and you're a bit embarrassed to have Rainbow see you like this. > However, she doesn't really seem to care. > "Your turn," she says. > You both swap places once again. > You take a few steps back, and lean on one leg. > You take a few deep breaths in preparation for your next shot. "Focus, Anon." "You can do this." > "Just shoot already!" You hear Rainbow shout. "Ready?" > "Just go!" > You run at the ball and kick, this time, aiming for side of the ball rather than the center. > You feel a good shot coming. > This is gonna be good... > You hit the ball, and your heart sinks once again. > Maybe it was your ego, or maybe you simply suck, but you just barely graze the ball with a reckless amount of energy. > The ball flies way off into the side, and you see it disappear into some shrubs and bushes. > "AHAHA! Haha! ha!" > Rainbow is lying on the ground, bawling with laughter. > "And I thought for a minute you were good!" "Whatever. I'll get the ball," you say in a disappointed tone. > Walking off the field, you shiver a bit from the cold. > You also notice how it's getting darker by the minute. > You arrive at where you last saw the ball go; a few shrubs near the edge of a wooded trail. > It's a bit hard to see anything through the darkness, but you manage to catch a glimpse of the ball. > It's nested deep in one of the bushes. > You try to reach for it, parting the bush with one hand, and reaching in with the other. "Shit!" > You jolt your arm back, now stained with a decent amount of blood. "Fucking thorns!" > The back of your right palm was cut, trailing a few inches down the back of your arm. > "Hey, what's taking so long?" You hear Rainbow exclaim in the distance. "Nothing, almost got it!" You shout back. > "Don't make me come over there!" "I won't, just lemme get it." > You think of other possible ways to get the ball. > You feel your right arm throb a tiny bit, and this gives you an idea. > You head back up to the field. > "Got it?" > Ignoring her, you pick up the shirt you dropped, and you wrap it around your bleeding arm. > You go back to the bush, and attempt to get the ball out once more. > This time, your arm is insulated with your t-shirt, so you won't get cut again. > You reach in as far as you can, and your fingers just gently graze the ball. "God..." > You reach in harder "Fucking..." > You hear the sound of the thorns tearing at your shirt. > You feel the ball, and grab it. "Damn it!" > You pull your arm out, with such force that you stumble to the ground. > The ball now lies beside you, and have a look at your arm. > Your shirt still covers it, but you can now see holes all over it. > It's also absorbed a bit of blood, which looks very noticeable as a dark red stain on the light gray shirt. > "Whoa..." > You turn around, to see a stunned Rainbow standing there. > "Are you ok?" She gently asks. "Yeah, just a few thorns." "I'm fine." > "You sure?" "Yeah. I got the ball, let's go." > You both walk back onto the field, and it's getting very hard to see. "Wait here, I'll get the lights." > At the corners of the field stand four huge lamps, overgrown with vines and greenery. > "Power's there," Rainbow tells you, as she points to one of the lamps. "Thanks." > You walk over to the lamp, and sure enough, a power box is attached to it. > You open it up, and see two buttons; labelled POWER, and RESTART. > You press the button labeled POWER, and one by one, the lamps light up. > The field is now illuminated, and you can see perfectly. "Got it," you say as you walk over to the net. > "Yeah, I know, I'm not blind." > Point taken. > "Ready?" "Go." > Rainbow walks a few steps back, and rushes at the ball once again. > She hits it, but it doesn't go nearly as fast as it did her first shot. > You can see it flying through the air. > It's going left. > You jump, extending your hands out to where the ball is headed. > You feel something hit them. > Landing on the ground from your dive, you see the ball bounce a few times, before coming to a gentle halt. > You stopped the ball. > "What?" Rainbow says, bewildered. > You chuckle. > Rainbow comes to her senses. > "No way! No one stops my shots!" "Your turn." > "This isn't over," Rainbow mumbles. > You swap places with her once more, and position yourself for yet another shot. > You don't take too much time to prepare, as that didn't turn out too well for you last time. "Ready?" > "You don't have to ask every time, sheesh." "Fine, I won't." > You run towards the ball, aiming for the side again. > As you are about to kick, you close your eyes. > You hear your foot hit the ball. > Then, you hear the ball bounce. > You open your eyes, and look at the scene. > You smile. > The ball is lying smack in the middle of the net, with Rainbow lying right next to it. "That's how it's DONE!" > No response. > You have a closer look, and you see that Rainbow is holding her face. "Shit..." > You run over to the net, realizing that you've hit her with that shot. "Oh my God," you say as you approach her. "I'm so sorry..." > "Fuck you." > "Hitting me is one thing, but BEING HAPPY about it?" "What? Rainbow, I didn't see I hit you, I closed my eyes when I took the shot." > "Yeah right." "No, I swear!" "I'd never do that on purpose." > "I'm done playing," she says as she gets up. > She walks over to her jacket, and puts it on. > She then heads over to the bleachers, and sits down right next to where she left her backpack. > You put your torn up shirt on, and walk over to her. > You sit down right next to her. “I told you, I’m sorry that I hit you.” > “Yeah, I know.” “I didn’t mean to laugh at it either, I didn’t see what happened.” > “Yep.” > You sit in silence for a bit. > Rainbow eventually opens up her backpack, and pulls out a can of beer. “You carry alcohol to school?” > “Mhm,” she says as she opens the can. > She takes a sip. > “Want some?” She asks as she offers you the can. “Sure.” > You take a mouthful, and give it back to her. “You know you didn’t really tell me why you challenged me at this.” > “Yep.” “You wanna maybe tell me now?” > She sighs, and takes another sip. > “To be honest, well, I kinda wanted to… Show off.” > “I thought you looked pretty bad at the game, so I thought you were an easy target.” “In other words, you were picking on me?” > “Well, kinda...” > You move your hand towards her, motioning for her to pass you the beer. > She gives you the can, and you take another sip. > You sit in silence together, taking turns sipping from the can. > "By the way, is your arm fine?" Rainbow eventually says. "Yeah, it stopped bleeding a while ago." > Rainbow lightly tosses the can to the side. > "It's empty." > "Got the time?" > You take your phone out from your pocket, and turn the screen on. "8:42. It's getting pretty late, huh." > You put your phone back into your pocket. > "Yeah... You have a car, right?" > You're honestly quite surprised that Rainbow considers that pile of trash a car. "Sure, it's in the parking lot." > "Well... Could you drive me home?" "Yeah, of course." > You get off the bleachers, and motion Rainbow to follow you. > It's a short walk, and in no time you are standing in front of your car. > It's an old Honda, and a lot of the once-black paint has been eaten away by a fine coating of rust. "Yeah, I know, it's shit." > "Hey, at least you have a car." "True." > You hop in the driver seat, and Rainbow walks over to the front door on the other side of the car. > She tries to open it, but it doesn't budge. "It's broken, lemme get if for you." > From the inside of the car, you lean over to the door, and open it. "Only opens from the inside." > "Uh-uh..." > She sits down, and you start the car up. "Where to?" > "312 Sunset Drive." > It's not far from where you live, and you recognize the street name. > You pull out of the parking lot, and drive off. > You drive in silence, trying to focus on the road. > "Can I turn on some music?" "I'd rather not, I hate that stuff on the radio." > "Alright." > Rainbow gently leans her head on the window, and closes her eyes. > The rest of the ride takes about ten minutes, and you watch the road as Rainbow rests. > Eventually, you pull over right next to her house. "You awake?" You ask. > You don't get a response. > You gently nudge Rainbow's shoulder, and she lifts her head up off the window. > "Huh...?" "We're here." > "Oh, alright..." > She opens the door, and begins to get out of the car. > "Hey, Anon," she says as she turns her head towards you. > "Thanks for the ride." > "And for tonight," she adds. > You don't really know how to respond, so you just smile. "My pleasure," you eventually say. > "See ya in class?" "See ya." > She gets out, and shuts the door. > As she walks off, you start up your car again. > You sigh. > You're all alone again. > You drive over to your house, just a few blocks away. > You park your car in the driveway, and walk up to your house. > You unlock the door, and walk right in. > Your house is moderate-sized, with two, small floors. > The first floor has a living room, a washroom, and a kitchen, while the second floor has another washroom, and a bedroom. > After taking off your shoes, you head over to the living room. > You throw yourself down on the couch, and turn on the TV. > You check the time. > 9:16. > You have a few hours to kill, and so you decide to watch a movie. > Flipping through the various genres on Netflix, you settle on the first comedy that you find. > You turn it on, get a bit more comfortable, and relax. > You chuckle a bit here and there, but the movie doesn't turn out to be much good. > It doesn't really seem to have much of a plot, and most of the characters are just there for comical effect. > About thirty minutes into the movie, your mind begins to drift off. > You start to think about what happened today. > Rainbow was quite popular at your school, and you were mostly just a loner. > Still, you both seemed to have a pretty good time together. > It dawns upon you that you're excited to see her tomorrow. > A bit nervous, but excited nonetheless. > Your stomach grumbles. > You haven't really eaten anything today, have you? > You put the movie on pause, and head over to the kitchen. > As you open your fridge, you are disappointed to see how empty it is. "Half-eaten taco, syrup, rotten banana..." You list to yourself. > You search around some more, and find some leftovers in a takeout box. > There's a bit of rice left, as well as some noodles. > You put the food on a plate, and heat it up in your microwave. > While you wait, you find yourself a mostly-full water bottle to drink. > The microwave sounds. > You take your food out, grab a fork, and sit down at the dinner table, right next to your water bottle. > You put a forkful of noodles in your mouth, only to spit it out. "Shit!" > The food is steaming hot, and you've just burnt your tongue. > You leave your food to cool down, and return to the couch to finish the movie. > It still sucks. > A few minutes later, you put it on pause again and head off to the dinner table. > You taste a small bit of food to check if it's still hot. > It's perfect, not too hot, and not too cold. > You finish up the rest of the food, and drink some of the water. > You put the dirty plate in the sink, and go back to finish off your movie. > You find it quite boring, and the couch quite comfortable. > Before you know it, it's getting hard to keep your eyes open. > The movie eventually ends, and the only sound left in your house is the gentle buzz coming from your heater. > Closing your eyes, you remember how calm Rainbow looked when she was asleep in your car. > You wish she were here, with you... > You fall asleep.   End of Day 1   > Your phone's alarm rings. "Ughhh..." You moan. > You reach for your phone, still in the pocket of your pants. > You pull it out, and turn on the screen. > You turn off the alarm, and lie back down on the couch. > About five minutes pass, and you decide to get up. > You stretch, and begin your morning routine. > First off, you head upstairs, into your room. > You grab a set of clean clothes, and head off into the washroom. > You brush your teeth first, then quickly undress, and walk into the shower. > While showering, you rub some of the warm water into your eyes, and this helps wake you up. > After you're done washing yourself, you dry yourself off, and put on the new set of clothes. > The set consists of some old jeans, and a black shirt, which looks a bit big on you. > You head back downstairs. > Breakfast time. > Scavenging the kitchen, you find a bit of milk and some old cereal. > You grab yourself a bowl, and combine the two. > There isn't much milk, and thus most of the cereal remains dry. > After finishing your meal, you grab your backpack, put on some shoes, and head off outside. > It's still partially dark out, and also a bit chilly. > Maybe you should've put on a hoodie. > Nonetheless, you head off to the bus stop. > You decide to take a shortcut, through a forest trail. > The trail begins just a block away, and ends almost directly at the bus stop. > Soon enough, you arrive at the trail, and step onto the narrow dirt road. > It's mid-spring, and you can't help but notice how beautiful the trail is this time of year. > The trees are bright green, and the smell of blooming flowers fills the air. > You admire the greenery, and in no time, you are at the end of the trail. > You walk back on to the sidewalk, and turn left towards the bus stop. > You walk for a bit, and before you know it, you're at the stop. > There are already a few other students here; the DJ girl, and the freshman trio that always follow each other around. > You walk over to the back of the bus stop, and find a comfortable place to stand as you wait. > A bit of time goes by, and a few more people come to the stop. > There's that eco kid who's about twice your size, and that crazy friend of Rainbow's. > As the last of the students arrive, you catch a glimpse of the bus in the distance. "Took it long enough," you mutter. > You walk to the front of the stop. > The bus approaches, and the rest of the students clump up behind you. > It comes to a screeching halt, and the doors open right in front of you. > You walk on, searching for an empty seat. > You find one right in the middle of the bus, and sit down. > You move over to the window seat, and you place your backpack in the empty spot. > You glance outside, and wait for everyone else to have a seat. > "Anon, right?" > You turn your head. > It's that friend of Rainbows, the one who throws parties all the time. "Yeah." > "Seat taken?" She asks as she points to your backpack. "No, go right ahead." > You move your backpack to your lap, and she sits down. > "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, but most people just call me Pinkie." "Nice to meet you." > The bus starts moving. > "You know, you look different from what I thought you'd look like." "What's that?" > "Well, Rainbow told me a bit about you yesterday." > Upon hearing this, your heartbeat rises. "What'd she say?" You ask, trying to keep your cool. > "Not much, she just mentioned that you were really good at soccer." "That's all?" > "Yeah, pretty much." > You relax. "Oh." > "Yeah, I just thought you'd look a bit more athletic or something." "Alright." > "You know, you can't be such a loner." "I'm sorry?" > You just met this girl, and now she's telling you what you can and can't do. > "Like you always sit alone at lunch and stuff..." "Yeah, that's my choice." > "You just look pretty lonely." "I don't mind it." > You've been alone for as long as you can remember, and you've grown quite used to it. > You find it rather nice, you don't have to deal with other people, and other people don't have to deal with you. > "Well, anyways, I'm throwing a party this weekend, you should totally come!" > You think about it, and you have nothing else planned for the weekend. "I'll think about it." "When is it?" > "Here, I'll text you the time so you don't forget." > "What's your number?" She asks as she gives you her contact list on her phone. > You create a new contact, and type in your number. "There," you say as you finish. "Thanks for the invitation," you add. > "No problem!" She says with a huge smile. > She opens up her backpack, digs around a bit, and pulls out a... cupcake? > "Cupcake?" She offers. "No thanks," you respond. > "Okey doke!" > You proceed to stare out the window as Pinkie eats her food. > Every day you pass by the same homes, the same roads, yet each time you see them, you notice something oddly new. > One day you found that House 87 got a new set of lamps. > Another day you noticed someone put a birdhouse up near a public park. > It's these little things that makes time on the bus fly by. > Before you know it, the bus reaches it's final stop. > Canterlot High. > The bus doors open, and everyone clusters up to get off. > Pinkie stands up, and puts on her backpack. > You do the same. > You see a brief opening in the cluster, which is immediately closed by some kid shoving his way through. > Eventually, you both manage to get off the bus, despite all the pushing that took place. > As you step onto the sidewalk, you take a good look at your school. > It looks as grand as ever. > It's one giant building, with towering walls, and one main entrance. > It resembles a castle more than a school. > "I gotta go that way, so cya Anon!" She says, pointing to the right. "Bye Pinkie." > "Oh, don't forget about the party!" She adds in an excited tone. "I won't." > You walk towards the school, and feel your phone vibrate. > You pull it out, to see that Pinkie has sent you a text. > You unlock your phone, and read it. > [ 9 PM Saturday, 200 Maple Lane :) ] [ I'll be there. ] > You check the time, and put your phone away. > It's 7:58, and class starts at 8:05. > Having nothing better to do, you decide to go and wait in your classroom. > You walk into the school, and turn left into one of the many tall, arched hallways. > You walk to the near-end of the hallway, and turn towards a door. > It's labelled "PHYSICS", in tiny white letters. > Welcome to period 1. > You try at the handle, only to find that the door is locked. > You take your phone out, and check the time again. > 8 o'clock. > You lean on the wall, and decide to play some random game on your phone. > A few minutes pass, and the bell rings. > "Good morning CHS," your principal says over the PA. > "Here are your morning announcements for today..." > You keep playing your game, as your classmates begin to group up near the door one by one. > A few try the door, still locked. > A few more minutes pass, and your entire classroom is waiting outside of the door. > Bored with your game, you put your phone away and simply wait for your professor. > As you do so, you catch a glimpse of him calmly walking towards your classroom. > His name is Professor Discord, but most people just call him Sir. > He's about fifty, and he's wearing a slightly worn-out brown suit. > His most noticeable features, however, are his crazy hair, and his long, white beard. > "How good to see you, everyone!" he says sarcastically, pushing his way through the class to unlock the door. > He pulls out a key, and unlocks it. > He opens it, and dramatically holds out his hand, signalling the class to get in. > You walk inside, and sit down at your desk, near the back of the classroom. > The desks are paired into twos, and you sit beside the 'muffin girl,' Derpy. > The rest of the class, including Derpy, walk in and sit down. > Discord closes the door, and walks to the blackboard at the very front. > "What a quiet morning," he exclaims. > "Why, you all look dead! Where's the fun in that?" > You hear the class moan. > "Ooh, I know what will cheer you all up," he says with a huge grin on his face. > You don't like where this is going. > "Homework check!" > You hear the class moan yet again, louder this time. "Shit..." you mutter. > You spent most of yesterday with Rainbow, and you haven't done any of your homework. "Hey, Derpy, can I copy you real quick?" You ask quietly. > "Sure Anon!" She says, passing you two sheets of lined paper. > You quickly take out your own paper, and begin to copy. > Knowing Derpy, you figure that most of the answers are incorrect, but it's better than having nothing. > "Alright, let's go around, shall we?" You hear Discord say. > He walks up to the front of the classroom, and begins to work his way to the back. > You write as fast as you can, and you're almost done copying half of the first page. > "Uh-uh..." > "Very good, Maud!" > He's getting closer to you. > You're almost done a page. > "Not done, Vinyl?" > "See me after class." > You finish the first page, and give it back to Derpy. "Thanks, by the way." > "No problem, Anon!" She joyfully responds. > You go back to copying down the answers. > You're almost done. > Just a few more left, five... four... > Unfortunately, you're too focused to see the professor approach you. > "Anon." > You look up in shock, only to see Discord standing right in front of you. > Busted. > This isn't the first time you haven't done your work. > He chuckles a bit. > "Did you REALLY think I wouldn't notice?" > You don't know what to say. > You just stare at your paper. > "No answer? No excuse?" "No Sir." > "Then I do expect to see both you and your little friend here after class." > Great, now you got Derpy into trouble. > "Understood?" "Yeah." > "And you, Derpy?" > "Yeah..." She replies. > She sounds a bit sad. > She's one of the good kids in your class, and even though she doesn't have the highest grades, she still tries her best. > "Very well," Discord says before walking back to the blackboard. "Sorry, Derpy." > "Aw, it's not your fault Anon." > "You would've done the same for me." > You can't help but crack a gentle smile. > "Now, let's resume our lesson," Discord says. > "Open up your textbooks to page 341." > Discord spends the rest of the class talking about magnetic fields. > After what happened, you try your best to listen, but find it very hard to do so. > You stare at your textbook, and zone out... > You think about your other classes. > Period 2 you have Calculus, followed by lunch. > Period 3 is Law, and then your last class of the day is English. > You then think about Rainbow. > You have only one class with her, and that's period 4. > "Psst! Hey Anon!" Derpy whispers to you as she taps your shoulder. "Huh?" You ask, dazed. > "The bell rung!" > You were zoned out for so long that you didn't even hear it. "Oh, right." > You start to pack up your bag, as almost everyone leaves the room. > "Anon, Derpy, and Miss Scratch," you hear Discord say, just as you finish zipping up your backpack. > Ah, crap. > You entirely forgot about earlier. > You look around, and see that you three are the only ones left in the room. > "Vinyl, and Derpy, you're free to go - with a warning." > "As for you, Anon, I have something much more... delightful planned." > You lie back in your chair, and sigh. > "Good luck Anon," Derpy whispers to you. > Vinyl walks out the class, and Derpy follows. > "Ah! Just you and I," Discord says as he closes the door after Derpy. > He dramatically paces across the classroom, stopping as he reaches one of the windows. "Sir, I kinda have class starting soon..." > "Why of course! I'll make it quick." > "Now, one of the cafeteria ladies is away for vacation." > "For whatever reason, I was supposed to give up my precious lunch time to fill in, but I have a much better idea." > "Seeing as you rarely do your work, I only feel that it is necessary for me to punish you." > "Either you work in the cafeteria in my stead for the rest of the week, or you will spend all of tomorrow in the office." "You're kidding." > "Oh, I do assure you that I am not." > "Just picture it - Anon, the star lunch lady." > "Why, you'd be like a superhero!" > Discord can't help but laugh at the thought of this. > Your teacher is an asshole, but there isn't much that you can do about it. > There's no point in arguing with him, and you decide that you'd rather give up your lunch a couple of times than spend a whole day doing nothing in the office. "Fine," you say. > "Excellent! Come see me in the teacher's lounge as soon as lunch starts." > "You may go now," he says as he walks off towards his desk. > You grab your backpack, and head towards the door. > "Goodbye Anon!" "Bye Sir..." you mumble. > You walk into the hall, and begin making your way to your second period class. > Calculus with Mr. Cranky. > You walk hastily, trying to make it to class on time. > You're not sure how long you have until you're late, but judging by the near-empty halls, the bell will ring soon. > Luckily, you keep all of your books in your bag, so you don't have to waste any time going to your locker. > The math hall is also quite close to your physics classroom. > You start walking a bit faster. > You weave your way through the maze of hallways, and arrive at your class just as the bell rings. > You open up the door, and walk inside. > Almost everyone is already here, and a few people turn their heads towards you as you enter. > Your teacher doesn't seem to notice, however. > Instead, he just scribbles some math problems on the blackboard. > You go to your desk, and sit down. > Unlike in Discord's class, the desks here are by themselves, spaced out evenly. > Your desk is close to the front, right next to a window. > "Alright..." Cranky says as finishes writing down the last problem. > "Let's begin." > "Today, we're gonna continue yesterday's lesson on derivatives..." > "Who can answer question 1 here?" > The class remains silent. > You stare at the blackboard, and your stomach rumbles. > A bowl of cereal isn't exactly the most filling food. > Too bad you're missing lunch thanks to Discord. > "No one? How about you, Maud?" Cranky eventually says, breaking the silence. > "Sure," she replies, in a monotone voice. > She goes up to the board, and begins to write down the answer. > She takes her sweet time, showing all the steps to her work. > Bored, you turn around and look through the window. > It's gotten brighter outside, and there isn't a cloud in sight. > Too bad you're stuck here. > After taking up those questions, Cranky shows the class a powerpoint prepared with today's lesson. > You try your best to listen, but just end up starting out the window. > The presentation ends quickly, and Cranky goes on to assign some homework. > You spent the rest of class time trying to finish it. > There are a few questions that you don't get, so you just skip them. > As you're working on the the last few questions, the bell rings. > "Class dismissed." Cranky says. > You pack your bag, and walk into the hallway. > It's lunchtime, and the halls are crowded with people walking towards the caf. > Pushing your way through, you head back to physics to see Discord. > You take a different path from what you took earlier, just because you feel like it. > After a bit of walking, you arrive at the classroom, and knock on the door. > You hear a bit of rustling inside, followed by the sound of footsteps coming towards you. > "Ah, Anon!" Discord exclaims as he opens the door. > "Seven minutes late! I was getting rather worried..."
