Imagine you're taken from your home, starting at age 5 or earlier, 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, put in a room full of people who are initially total strangers, and told what to think, what to say, what to read, what to write, who to interact with and how to interact with them by strange grown-ups who say they're not actually individuals. Any recalcitrance defines you as "troubled," "delayed," "delinquent" and "special." The cure for your recalcitrance is, obviously, more indoctrination. Any attempt to escape will get you labeled a criminal and bring more psychological treatment and indoctrination and, eventually, permanent imprisonment. Understandable reactions to bullying will bring punishment on you while the bully goes unpunished. And if you point out all this and how bad it is, the pillars of the community will call you a conspiracy theorist and deluded. Homeschool. Your. Kids.
