"disney" By robblu (https://pastebin.com/u/robblu) URL: https://pastebin.com/ZHAr7PLV Created on: Tuesday 13th of October 2020 03:48:10 PM CDT Retrieved on: Saturday 31 of October 2020 02:59:24 AM UTC I think of the Disney business model compared to a restaurant's model. Imagine I make the best burgers in Miami, and when you come to my restaurant, for one of my burgers... When you get your order, it's fake meat, and low quality vegetables, and you don't like my food. So what I do? I call you a racist/sexist for not liking my burger, and I tell you to leave and never come back. This is not how you run any business. To carry on the analogy. You see a successful burger store next to you and buy it at ten times market value, then close it down. Then you drive those customers to your competitors. You then decide to buy the rights to make the signature burger of a different company, then decide that it should be a vegan burger and get rid of the meat, the cheese and the mayonnaise. When that is done, you decide to make a children's playground based on that, now, vegan burger. Then you decide the way to save your restaurant is to create an online order service which has to compete with 10 other online order services which have better, original and more up to date products.
