Anger one, and that darkness they've absorbed may just come crashing down on you. Physical Description[edit] A twilit is a strange being. at one point they were human, but that form is long gone. Twili have bright turquoise skin, with patches of black. On the black patches there are glowing characters they themselves cannot read. They are tall, thin, with flat noses and glowing eyes. Their hair, if any, is always a shade of orange. Occasionally, a twilit can be a small imp. This is caused by a curse that only a powerful sorcerer can undo. in this imp form, it is possible that they are even more dangerous, as they gain a third appendage from their hair. History[edit] The first twili were created many years ago, when a war ravaged a far away land, the two main forces of the war consistently could not reach anything but a standstill. Then, a group of one of the sides made a discovery! They found an artifact of dark magic so powerful that it helped them turn the tides! They became cocky, and eventually lost control. the other side used the magic of seven sages to banish these dark interlopers to a realm called the Twilight Realm. The realm, once peaceful, absorbed the dark energy, and became locked in between light and dark. Twilight. The war was won, and the winning side foolishly banished all criminals to this realm, where they became what they are today. They are often fighters or barbarians. Society[edit] The twili are dominated by a princess, whom is in possesion of potent dark magic. The twili yearn to leave their realm, but only the princess has the power to send people out of it. the realm is quite depressing, full of lost souls. Twili Names[edit] The Twili have strange names to humans, because of the difference between their language and ours. Male: Zant, Kwaalou, Daken Female: Midna, Wectö, Sheoul Twili Traits[edit] Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom increases by 2 and your Intelligence increases by 1. Age. A Twili has unknown boundaries of age. the darkness keeps them alive. Alignment. Twili are nearly always Chaotic. Size. 6'5"–7'5" Your size is medium. Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Dark Magic. You know the eldritch blast cantrip. At 3rd level, you can cast the misty step spell once per day. At 7th level you can cast dimension door once per day. Your spellcasting ability is Wisdom. Heal Shriek. From 5th level onwards, you may use an action to emit a shriek with resuscitating powers. One creature of your choice within 30 feet of you that died no longer than 1 minute ago may make a death saving throw. On a success, the creature gains 1 hit point. You can use this feature again after a long rest. Damned. You have vulnerability to radiant damage. Darkvision.. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey. Languages. You can speak, read and write Common. Variant: Twili Imp[edit] The twili imp is a set of variant traits for the twili. Ability Score Increase. Your Strength increases by 1 instead of your Intelligence. Cursed Form. Your size is small. Your height range is 2' to 3'. Instead of walking, you float 3 ft off the ground, but no higher. At level 5 you can fly. You have a flight speed equivalent to double your base speed. Damned Twice. You are vulnerable to Radiant damage and Magic attacks. Smaller Has Benefits. You may teleport one other being with you when teleporting without a portal. Also able to go in shadows. Smaller Has Disadvantages. Your arms can only handle light simple weapons. HOWEVER, you have a third arm from your hair that can handle any 1 handed or 2 handed melee weapons. Shadow Helmet.
