Snow Elf
There live tiny beings in the North. They supposedly spend their days away in workshops making toys for the children of the world. Other tales say they aren't quite so tiny, and don't whittle away their lives in workshops, but rather live and look like the people of frost.

Physical Description
Snow Elves, whether tall or squat, have paler skin than most. The humanoid ones usually have pale hair color, while the short ones have been seen to have darker tones.

History
Snow Elves are thought to be traditionally short humans capable of innate magic and affinity for the cold. New theories surrounding taller forms surmise that snow elves are the offspring of a high elf and a Coldskin.

Society
Humanoid Snow Elves are organized in small villages sheltered in the snowy artics. They live in close-knit tribes and thrive off the meager boons of nature in the frigid terrain.

Santa's Helpers, or the Squat Snow Elf, organize in unions. They live and work in isolated workshops in the north under some chairman in a red suit.

Snow Elf Names
Snow Elves can typically use any names from other Elven origins.

Snow Elf Traits
Those little elves that made toys for Christmas are real. Or was that just your imagination?
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution increases by 2, and one other ability score of your choice increases by 1.
Age. Snow Elves can live up to 470 years.
Alignment. Snow Elves tend toward chaotic and neutral alignments.
Size. The size of a Snow Elf depends largely on its subrace.
Speed. A Snow Elf's speed can go from 25-30, depending on the subrace.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Cold Heritage. You have resistance to cold damage.
Natural Snowshoes. You do not consider any snowy or arctic terrain as a difficult terrain.
Snowcoat. When in snowy or arctic terrain, you are proficient in stealth checks.
Languages. You speak and write Common and Elvish
Subrace. Choose from the following subraces of Humanoid or Santa's Helper
Humanoid
Ability Score Increase Your Intelligence increases by 1.

Size The average Humanoid Snow Elf is about 5 to 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed Humanoid Snow Elves have a movement speed of 30 feet.

Magical Ancestry Descended from Elves with an affinity for magic, you know the ray of frost cantrip.

Hunters of the Cold Humanoid Snow Elves are proficient in Spears, Longswords, Shortswords, Longbows, and one other weapon of your choice

Santa's Helper/Squat Snow Elf
Ability Score Increase Your Charisma increases by 1.

Size These little elves aren't called squat for no reason. They're often only about 2 to 3 feet tall. Your size is Small.

Speed Santa's Helpers have a speed of 25 feet.

Trickster of the Holidays You have your way around a good parlor trick or two. You know the prestidigitation cantrip.

Wit Santa's Helpers have an upbeat attitude that makes them generally very agreeable. You are proficient in Persuasion checks
