For swordsmen Basically all swordsman moves are shit. Thrust is decent for 1 point but nothing more for spamming pierce if you've got nothing else. Bash is shit except for leading into punish if you're a doppel, gung ho, concentrate, pain barrier, and restrain all range from eeeh to bad. Double slash is not worth 3c of swordsman. Pelt's rim blow is eh, guardian isn't really worth it unless you're going for an evasion build, high guard is absolute garbage, and shield lob is extraordinarily underwhelming. Highlander's wagon wheel is fairly weak and its points are better spent on highlander's godly c2 and c3 skills. Hoplite's synchro thrust is worthless. Barbarian's stomping kick is too slow and weak compared to the rest of its skills, helm chopper, seism, and cleave are too good to ignore. Corsair's unlock chest seems convenient, but the rest of its skills are just so much better. Centurion's tercio is just a shitty testuto and phalanx is just a shitty schiltron Those are the bad skills in the swordsman tree. Archer --Full draw is weak and the linking together enemies with it rarely works. --Twin Arrows is fairly weak and has a lengthy CD --This is personal preference here, but oblique and heavy shot really shouldn't be levelled up past 1, you get all their bonuses but you quickly more than double the sp cost for very, very spammable skills without gaining much attack, thus keeping them at 1 seems ideal. Wonderful 1 point skills though. Always put 1pt in them. Quarrel Shooter -Stone shot, while on paper it looks good, it relies on a secondary skill to be used, has a massive sp cost for a spammable skill, and stones weigh a fuckton. -Caltrops are surprisingly weak, they seem like they should be strong like zaibas, but they ain't. -Rapid Fire, a weaker version of multishot with a higher CD. not really worth it. -Running shot, move at full speed while attacking with xbow, not worth going c3 QS for. Especially when swift step already alleviates it somewhat. Ranger -Steady aim, you lose damage because of it. -Crit shot should only get 1pt, it's good with 1pt, you just rack up sp cost with more. -Time bomb arrow, weak and takes 5s to explode, not worth it. I haven't played or seen much about hunter but Hounding looks fairly useless. Sapper I don't know if they've changed this or not, but if not -Detonate traps will make you laugh and your allies hate you. You can blow up shit allies place like ice walls or magic circles. They will hate you. cont. -Conceal is more a pvp skill as far as I can tell, and 1pt should be plenty. Not terrible and not a waste of a point, but not worth pumping. Wugushi -Detoxify and Bewitch are situational and just weaker than your other skills. Scout -Flu flu and Flare shot are weak, have long CDs, and unimpressive effects. -Scan seems worthless -Split arrow is pretty nice, but you're basically giving up 3 ranks of classes that are more effective. Camo, cloaking, and undistance all seem very good in their own ways, but don't make a class. Scout is just kinda bad in that it doesn't really have a niche other than if you want to go cloaking->backstab rogue. Though camo might be hella OP if you can literally just tank 25 physical attacks. with it. Rogue -If you aren't pumping sneak hit, vendetta, backstab, and a 1-2 points in lachrymator and capture you're doing it all wrong. Those skills are insanely fucking good, the rest just suck in comparison. Max vendetta and backstab always. They are fucking amazing. Fletcher -Singjijeon and Broadhead aren't terrible, but the other fletcher skills are just too fucking good in comparison. Falconer -All its skills kinda suck right now because of their ridiculously high CDs, wouldn't go falconer right now. Wizard -All its skills before C3 are various flavors of bad to eh. Quick cast is fucking amazing and magic missile is good, but not worth losing 2 additional ranks on. Pyro -Flare has a long CD, bad attack values, and a fairly lengthy CD. put 1pt if you want, but no more. Used to be good but got nerfed to hell. -Enchant fire put 1pt for the ability to debuff enemy fire res, no more. The skill sucks ass in every other respect. -Hell's Breath, strong but devours your sp (6%/s) and it's not really worth going C3 pyro for. Cryo -Ice blast has the same problems as flare Linker -Spiritual Chain seems like it could be neat, but only sharing with 1 person is fairly underwhelming, especially since you are one of the people and wiz don't exactly have great solo buffs. -Life line I do not know how this works, so buyer beware. Linker does great with 1C, not sure you really need more than that, it is fucking amazing with that 1C though. Psycho -Its got some really cool abilities and synergies but is really hampered by its long CDs, needs some buffs. That being said psychic pressure is godly and its skills have massive potential for shenanigans. Honestly I think it'd be great if they just slashed most of its CDs in half. Elementalist -Meteor has a sweet spot. Level it too much and you get fucked by the cast time, sure you could release early but then you're just wasting points. Level it too little and you get a poor AoE. I don't know what the sweet spot is. cont But it definitely has one where you get a good enough AoE but you don't have to stand around charging all day. Chronomancer -Need info on how reincarnate works and what it works on, seems questionable right now. -Haste is good for 1pt, barely gains anything from more. -Stop is also a 1pt wonder. if you max it people will not like you for having to wait around forever. Sorceror -Summon familiar only hits 1 enemy with the explosion, so yeah. Necro -Gather corpse is good for 1pt as a finisher since it is fairly weak and only gets corpses on kills, but oheat and 10s CD makes it a fairly decent finisher to get back corpses spent. More points in it are just wasted. -No clue about dirty pole or corpse tower. But really if you aren't getting flesh cannon and raise dead then you should be ashamed of yourself. Alchemist -Briquetting is praying on the RNG to not fuck up your item. The odds of that potential being spent NOT being a waste in comparison to doing basically anything else with it are not good. -Dig and Combustion suffer from competing with gem roasting, tincturing, awakening, and magnum opus, all of which are god tier. Cleric -Do not go past C1. Priest -Monstrance does not increase the bonus dex and it's something fairly paltry like 10, not very good. Scaling doesn't increase and is just not that good. -Blessing may last a shitload of time but it just isn't that strong unless you max out its attribute, which is not happening, and even then it is a solid alright. It gets points for not being sacrament -Sacrament is just a slightly stronger (but still weak as piss) version of enchant fire, but without a useful attribute. -Exorcise is only better than steady aim, 2nd worst skill in the game. The rest of priest is real good though, though remember that block = 0 if you don't have a shield so stone skin is situational. Krivis -Aukuras is awful. Regen skills are awful. The rest of krivis is amazing. Bokor -Haven't played or seen much about it, cannot say. Sadhu -Vashita Siddhi and Transfer Prana are fairly underwhelming the rest of Sadhu is great. Diev -Carve owl is kind of underwhelming compared to the rest of its skills. Diev kind of suffers from being so immobile with its buffs, can be a problem sometimes when grinding. Still solid though. Pally -Restoration is shit -Turn Undead and Conversion have bad rates and are bad. Pardoner -Simony is iffy right now due to lackluster spell selection. Not terrible but not great. Druid -Telepath is just worse than every other option, because the rest are great skills. Just fucking 10/10 because of effects and/or attributes. cont
