"Weathervane & Co's adventure *raw* logs" By White_light (https://pastebin.com/u/White_light) URL: https://pastebin.com/NHhSg5sU Created on: Monday 30th of November 2015 05:53:42 PM CDT Retrieved on: Monday 26 of October 2020 09:58:30 AM UTC Are both of you ready? I'll try to speed up things from now on, so I encourage you to post in shorter messages: as long as they express what you are doing and feel, they are good to go I'll try my best. [ready] It was slightly past noon when the bandits attacked. Weathervane hadn't yet had time for lunch, and Eternity just plain hadn't eaten since early in the morning. By the time the truck stops moving, both mares are hungry, tired and uncertain of what'll happen... From inside the back of the truck is possible to see what's left behind and what's to the sides of the road through some apertures on th e cover. The desert horizon, a few pony-made channels that don't figure in the maps and some mountains in the distance is all that they can entertain their eyes with, though, and studying the bandits results far more entertaining. The mares are sitting next to each other, with the stocky exmilitary pony close to her, and three mercenaries joking and talking to each other in the extreme closer to the cabin... The sun has fallen down considerably once they are allowed down the truck, and just judging by how orange the sky has turned it's easy to tell it's around 6 or 7 PM. -*- Eternity sits a bit uncomfortably next to Weather, opting for lyra-style. She'd remained quiet the entire time. The shadow of a high and peaky mountain looms over to the East, while to the West several channels get lost into the horizon, giving life to whatever ranch or small town is on that direction. The one they are in is little more than a bunch of houses huddled together around a well. -*- Weathervane felt the smallest she had ever felt in some time, but she had since calmed down knowing that the band at the very least wanted to keep them alive. She nonetheless kept to herself, not wanting to stare too long at their company and instead opting to keep her eyes on the floor. <-> Breeze is now known as Breeze[mobile] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vu7UBLspZz8 The white walls and plain roofs of the houses make the village look vivid despite the fact there's barely more than 20 or so inhabitants living there, all gathered around the truck, all eeying the foreign mares... The bandit leader has come down the truck as well, at his side a pale blue pegasus mare with a pinkish mane. He makes space so the 'visitors' can have a better view of their audience, and the other way around. "Romina, dile a tu..." However, he gets to talk with a fat mare and trots into the town, away, busy. The mare takes charge of the situation from there on. Unlike the other mercenaries, she only wears a military cap, a bag that probably contains ammo and a canteen and has a long rifle slung at her side. "Welcome to Pozo Rojo, Miss Weathervane." "What's your friend's name?" Her voice is energetical, full of life and joy even when she's clearly older than them. A bullseye cutie mark decorates her flanks. As the talk in english goes on, most of the inhabitants of Pozo Rojo lose interest on the novelty and go on with their lives. -*- Eternity raises an eyebrow. "Wow, looks like your acting career's already taken off if you've got fans." "Hahaha! Only for me and Chispa de Chocolate over there. We like Brico movies, but we didn't really expect him to be filming at Pueblo Seco." -*- Weathervane catches a glimpse of the houses outside, but quickly turns her attention back to the bandit leader and his companion with a shy smile. Not wanting to speak out of turn but still striving to be polite, she nods to the mare with a courteous bow of her head. "Hello," she says. "Thank you for the welcome despite the... uh, odd circumstance of us being here." She -*- Weathervane directs her attention to the bat pony at her side. "This is Eternity, an acquaintance from years ago! She was just passing through when all this happened." "Wow I was joking when I said you had fans I thought for sure we were gonna be taken hostage." She pauses. "I guess technically that's still on the table." Only a handful of soldiers remain watching the situation. Chispa, the mare with freckles, being one of them. Somepony turns the truck off and takes his leave with the keys on his mouth, humming a song. "Eternidad... What a big name. I'm Captain M. Segura. Just Segura for you two..." "Heh" Her laugh sounded a bit more despective that time. "I'm not sure this is a laughing matter, Eternity. Me and my ponies weren't exactly taking a stroll at random back at the ruins. Care to follow me into Dorado's house? His wife must have a meal ready for all of us." -*- Weathervane shrugs, chuckling to herself at the comment about him filming. "Brico's a bit of a kook like that, no offense to the guy. But I'm glad he has at least a little attention... I imagine he'd be happy to know that he has at least a couple of faithful out here." She nods more solemnly to Segura. "But yeah... food sounds good right about now..." -*- Eternity shrugs. "What can I say? I like to keep things light hearted." The old pegasus gives both a small smile and then turns to face one of the small houses, cantering slowly towards it. As she moves, Nity and Weather can notice a long scar that runs from the right side of Segura's neck to the base her belly. "I already like you two! Eternity, mind if we have a word in private before we go in?" -*- Eternity smiles her same fangy grin. "Sure." Cantering over to the house takes no longer than a couple of awkward silent seconds after that request. the small plaza already covered in the time. "Great!" Segura pushes the door of the small house open, and with a small bow gestures Weather to go in. "I'll borrow Eternidad for just a while. Get acquainted with Dorado meanwhile, I'm sure he's got some words for you." "The way you say my name sounds like I could be a really spicy chili. I like it, it fits my personality." -*- Weathervane steadily steps down from the truck and follows Segura to the small home, offering her a polite curtsy as she opens the door before making her way inside. "Thanks! You got it." She gives the two the time to step aside for their small discussion, in the meantime stepping more into the small home herself with slow steps. The veteran takes Eternity towards the well at the middle of the plaza. A couple of carts and some chickens pecking the ground are all around it at this time of the day. "Shilli huh? Yeah you sound really fun and straightforward... so better get this out of the way soon." The mare rests her forelegs on the edge of the well, looking down to it. "Pozo Rojo is really small, so it's hard to go anywhere without someone seeing you or at least knowing where you are... I know who Weathervane is, I know who Brico is and I know we attacked them by mistake." "Someone gave us fake information, that's why I needed her here, so I can have her as proof for my superior." Her eyes seem to be lost on the bottom of the well as she speaks, her tone concise and firm, giving no space for interruptions outside her pauses. "But you are a foreigner trotting alone in Pueblo Seco with a rifle and an armor." "You are not a mercenary, you are not a soldier from Colina Verde." "So excuse me if I'm doing this, but as we speak, Chispa is aiming at you with a rifle from somewhere you can't see, at least until I know what the fuck you are doing here... I'm not trying to intimidate you. If you don't want to tell me, it's alright." "But if you don't tell me, and you start acting funny..." She glances over to the batpony with a bemused expression. "I don't think you are dangerous, but I ain't taking my chances with foreigners as of late. That fine with you?" "Well first off, I'm slightly hurt you don't think I could be a mercenary. Secondly, it's pretty rude to have a sniper trained on me." "But I also respect your cautiousness." Segura's lips curl up into a small smile. "It's just a measure, until you decide to tell me what you are doing over here or if you want to cause trouble... Hey, if you need someplace to stay I could hire you for a couple of days." Meanwhile, inside the house... Weathervane trots into lobby that also acts as living room and dining room. Sitting at the table, the 'bandit leader' is eating some bread while his daughter reads him a newspaper. The filly is sitting on his lap, but it's the mercenary's wife who catches her attention with a high pitched welcome. "OH AQUI ESTA! Bienvenida a mi hogar. Dorado, recibe a tu visita!" The stallion ruffles the mane of his baby mare and sends her away, the filly grabbing the newspaper on her own TK as she runs to her room. "Miss Weathervane... Please come over, take a seat. Dinner is ready." "We are just waiting for your friends and someone else." your friend* Eternity: [you can keep talking with Segura, btw] "Well I could always use the money, but sadly I'm in a bit of a time crunch. Frankly that ride you gave me put me just ahead of schedule instead of woefully behind like I was. It was that damn wrong turn at Ablequerqe." -*- Weathervane gives a cheerful smile at the warm welcome, not fully comprehending the language but understanding the tone as her face brightens. She sees the pony and recognizes how quaint and cute his family is, nodding to him and taking the guest's seat at his urging. "Good evening! Thank you for the hospitality... been a long time since breakfast," she says. "Gosh... -*- Weathervane there's so many things I wanna ask, but I don't think they'd be appropriate now, heh." Eternity obtains a chuckle out of Segura, followed by a small hit on her shoulder. "Humans are always with their references only they get. It's like talking with a minotaur... You are on your way to Haypass, aren't you? Not many remarkable places outside it on the path you were taking." "If you were honest with me, I'd love to have you as friend, but my father taught me better about strangers who don't wanna share their story.." As they talk, another truck enters the small plaza... "Miss Weathervane, no please. Sit down, I'm sorry for all of today's afternoon." The pink mare is promptly served a plate with tomatoe soup, orange juice and a piece of bread. The soup smells of strong spices, so she knows well that the bread is to neutralize the flavor may it be too hot for her. "We.. we were on a mistake." "Yeah, turns out the desert kind of sucks. Doubly so because it's hard as hell to fly over it." She shrugs. "Maybe I just need to brush up on my endurance flying." She clears her throat. "That's fine, I'm leaving as soon as Weather does and then I'll be splitting for Haypass. I don't ask for your trust, or even your friendship." She gives Segura a stern look. "The only thing I can promise is the death of you all should you try anything to hurt Weathervane." Her face lightens back up. "Buuuut I'm sure we won't have a problem there." "And it was you, miss Weathervane, who saved us all from making it worse." "I have to ask, my curiosity is killing me... Were you acting back there? It was so real, your face, your words. They broke my heart, and I knew I couldn't bring my friends to do something as horrible as what we had planned... Miss Weathervane you are a santa." [...] [holy shit] [you piece of shit i had soda in my mouth] [you are welcome] Segura sighs and shrugs, eyes over the truck now. "Eternidad, I'm not going to menace you. I don't do that, I just either take measures like right now or outright do what I must... You are-- I don't know, I don't want to call you an enemy, I know you aren't, but I don't know what you want. And Weathervane is probably a good friend of Dorado by now, he's got a soft heart even if he's as fierce [w-wait what happened to Weather being in my group D:] "I don't want anything." She blinks. "Well, I guess I just want this to end as... peacefully as Weather made it start out. Sorry if I can't exactly relax, what with that greeting and all." -*- Weathervane bows her head to her host as she remembers her manners, far from being above the humble, but still cozy meal as she partakes in the soup. "Thank you for the meal... I wish we could have met in a better way, but I'm glad I could at least end it peacefully." She dips a piece of bread into the soup after breaking it off, letting it soak until saturated before -*- Weathervane taking a bite. "As for what I did? Well... a little both, I guess? I dunno, I was just really stressed, but I felt very in-the-moment... almost like I really was in a take." She pauses for the laugh. "Brico's all about blurring the lines of cinema and reality like that... guess that's why he took a liking to me in the first place." and deadly as a rattlesnake." From the new truck's cabin descend a couple of ponies. One is a mare with latte coat and long brown mane, wearing no clothes, no weapons, just saddlebags and a hat to cover her visage from the sun. The other pony; however, is a mare that Eternity knows of from documents, newspapers and of course because her job demands her to. "Oh... here she is." "I'm sure of that, Eternidad. I already told you I like you two already, she probably will too." The latte color mare rests against the truck, pulling out a cigarette from her bags and lighting it after sitting down. The mare that Eternity recognizes approaches the well, her uniform identifying her as a low rank officer at most, but the scar on her left cheek, soft purple coat and short mane match too well with the ones of the general of Haypass' army. "General Bal, good to see you received the message quickly!" Segura gives her a small military salute, out of courtesy, uncaring and unmoving. "And I'm glad to see you've kept things quiet despite everything. Who is she?" General Bal Tica, the mare that spat on Celestia's hooves and was a key element on so many battles for Haypass looks over Eternity with a cocked eyebrow. -*- Eternity smiles, doing a simple, polite bowing of her head. "I see..." Replies Dorado to Weathervane, looking impressed and taking his time to reply. "I'm a... a not too wise pony. Excuse me if I don't know what a Brick moovee is. Your boss told me, actually, what it is, but I was more concerned about what we needed to do with you and him..." Dorado's wife brings him a bottle with what looks like tequila, a few shots and one more piece of bread for him. After that, she turns on a small radio at a low volume. "Radio Alborada, para el caballo-ero de hoy." Mutters a smooth voice from the device. After that, a song plays without interrupting the conversation. "You've got a powerful spirit then, miss Weathervane. To make soldiers turn down the weapons like that, hahahah." The sound of a truck outside makes him look towards a window and nod. "Here she comes. Miss, you'll be asked a few things and then we'll be done." Outside, Bal Tica and Segura trade shrugs and canter toward the house. "Let's go, Eternidad! We've got something to talk about and I'm sure you want to be there." "Pffth... a ella? Como digas... Quiero ver a la otra, la rosada. Si tienes razon y nos dieron informacion falsa..." !roll 1d20-2 Eternity rolled 1d20: 15 [damn you kek just gimme a 20 :c] -*- Weathervane continues, slightly more serious than before. "For a few seconds, I really was afraid for my life, though. I thought, 'This is it. I'm not going to leave this alive, and I'll never see my family again.'" She takes in a deep breath, warming her lungs with a breathful of the aromatic soup to ease her breaths. "When you're that hysterical, you don't remember -*- Weathervane everything you say or do. I could probably never capture that magic again even with all the training in the world. Just a pure moment of emotion that... well, I'm glad you could empathize with. That's what it's all about, right?" She thinks back only to chuckle to herself, taking another spoonful. She lifts and eyebrow to Dorado's statement. "Hmm? Oh, sure! -*- Weathervane I'll be ready by then." -*- Eternity follows along. "No mentiria, no sobre esto." Segura pushes the door open for Bal, who enters with a smile to the house. Eternity understood: 'pffth? her? Whatever. The other, the pink. You are right and fake info got to us...' Segura and Eternity go in after the general of Haypass. Greeting everypony with a small and a kiss on the cheek (outside Weathervane who gets a gentle hoofshake and a nod), the scarred mare lets out a sigh and sits down opposite to Dorado. "Gracias por recibirnos Dorado... Now, I'm not supposed to be here, as we all here know... well, everybody except our 'guests." Segura just looks from afar, leaning against a wall. Eternity is invited to sit between Weather and Bal. "Yes, and I'm pretty sure you'd want to hear this." -*- Weathervane lifts an eyebrow curiously to the mare, but nonetheless accepts her hoofshake and bows her head as she listens intently. "Miss Weathervane, please, tell to her what you and your team were doing at the ruins..." -*- Eternity takes her seat wordlessly, more than a little curious. Bal looks to Weathervane at all times, not showing much expression on her face outside slight interest. Dorado and Segura glance between both mares, and give an ocassional glance to Eternity as well. "Como caramelo... me hacen llegar al cielo, me hacen hablar con Dios... Tus besos son, lo que me dan alegria..." Sings Segura under her breath, following the lyrics of the song in the radio... -*- Weathervane nods and turns her attention to Bal Tica. "Ah! Well, we were simply filming on-location. Just a small crew -- no more than twenty. Our director Bricolage insisted that we film there for several scenes. We told him it would be too ambitious, but that's exactly what he wanted... And now, we're here." "And now you are here... I see.." !roll 1d20+6 Curiosity rolled 1d20: 17 The mare sighs and taps her hooves on the table. "I can do two things for you, your friend and your team. But first... Dorado, put one for everybody. Segura come grab a shot too! I think it's a good time to celebrate we averted another battle for once!" The unicorn smiles, showing his ugly teeth like always. The gesture now looks surprisiginly humble and sincere to Weather now that she's got to know him, even if his teeth are still disgusting to look at. "All thanks to miss Vane." He says while serving 'tequila' on the shots. "Is that so? And what about she?" Bal looks over Eternity with more curiosity than she did at the well. "By what I was told over the telegraph, she's a drifter?" "I prefer the term 'Wandering Vagabond'." -*- Eternity chuckles a bit to herself. "A drifter from another country, with a rifle produced at Germaneigh..." "Vagabond or not. You aren't tricking anybody here, amigo." -*- Eternity shrugs, "So I do a lot of drifting for work." Bal reaches for her shot, and even Segura has grabbed one. "She's trustworthy though..." "Sure. Look, in other situation I wouldn't give two shits about it. But things have changed a lot after I showed Celestia what I think about her suggestions of submission." "I'm not allowed to go screwing around anymore. The mare outside? She's my 'supervisor'... huh" "A general with a supervisor." "But you know something? It's alright, I can still give myself the freedom to welcome a stranger at our country whenever I damn please, even if she's poorly hiding her weird crap." "Psssh, Celestia won't do anything. S'long as you're not openly attacking 'her little ponies' she'll just make little shows such as that to reassure everyone." "She's just an old hag with too much free time, that's what she is." "Well I mean I'd imagine running a country as nitpicky as she does takes up a lot of her time, but I get where you're coming from." The general hits the shot on the table and then brings it to her mouth, downing it in a single gulp. Dorado and Segura do the same. There's no lemons or salt; these ponies are used to drinking it dry. "Aaaahhh mierda! This is good! Where you got it from?" Dorado and Segura get on talking about the drink while the stallion serves another round. Bal continues talking with Nity, uncaring of her despective tone whenever she mentions the Equestrian rulers. "Nitpicky? Negro porfavor. She's been letting others do her job since before we arrived." "Anyway, I'm told it's improper for a pony 'in my rank' to talk like this. So time for serious talk between you and me." -*- Eternity leaves her drink unattended. "Good, never been a fan of political talk anyhow." Weathervane listens to this while her drink wait, probably still more focused on her meal than the alcohol. "Hey Segura, what was her name?" "Oh? Eternity.."The older mare returns to talk with the stallion. "Eternity... cute name. Where are you from?" "Well originally Florida, but I doubt thats what you're asking." She blinks. "FourCannon." -*- Weathervane throws back a shot to distract herself from the talk over Celestia, coughing from the straight tequila as she's clearly not used to it. Still, she wanted to be polite amidst her company, her face contorting as she shakes off the hit before tuning back into the conversation. "That's a bit far... I've never been there. And you, Vane the actress... Where do you come from?" "For that matter, where did your movie team come from too? I'm just baffled we almost got a massacre on our hooves." -*- Weathervane grins. "Same place, actually! Uh, Four Cannon that is. We're acquaintances from way back when." She smiles knowingly to Eternity before turning back to Bal. "Now, though, I take residency in Friendship City... Brico's studio is based in Prance, but it kinda travels to wherever he wants his next set to be." A new round of shots is served for everybody. Dorado's wife joins the fun as well, turning up the volume, sitting at the side of her husband and greeting Segura with a kiss on the cheek. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwtcyXl5y9c Meanwhile, Bal rises her shot, hits the table with it and downs it into her mouth again, grunting after swallowing it hastily. "Hrrmmm.... I- Isee..." "You two are a lucky pair. Too lucky if you ask me, but that's how a pony like me got where she is today... Okay, down that and I'll tell you the first thing we'll do about your situation." The rest of the locals have already finished their shots as well... Roll a VITsave !roll 1d20+1 Curiosity rolled 1d20: 18 -*- Eternity has been declining her drinks. -*- Weathervane lifts her shot glass to Bal cheerfully. "Cheers, then! To luck," she says playfully before downing the glass. !roll 1d20+3 Weathervane rolled 1d20: 14 -*- Weathervane Yep. Still tastes like liquid burning. Weathervane is taking the alcohol well. Eternity obtains a frown from Bal. "What's the matter?2 matter"* "Hmm? Sorry, I don't drink." "Today you do." "I appreciate the gesture, though." "Allow me to insist. Today you drink, at least one." -*- Eternity shakes her head. "Sorry, been 14 years, not breaking that now." -*- Eternity pulls a small, weathered wooden disk out of her chest pocket. The general groans and shrugs. "Suit yourself." With a swift movement she snatches the shot and downs it herself. Dorado is soon serving another round... -*- Eternity Weather would recognize it as an alcoholics anonymous chip, or at least a crude representation of one. -*- Eternity It's got 14 tally marks etched into one side of it. She quickly stows it back in her chestpiece. -*- Weathervane nods knowingly to Eternity, chuckling to herself knowing that she already broke her temperance. "Moving on, then?" "No idea... what that is, but I respect it if it means what I think... Anyway, Vane, Nity. You two are a lucky pair." She licks her lips and smiles to the pink mare. "I'll have some soldiers protect Brico's movie set until he's done filming. It's the least I can do... Segura's ponies are on my payroll, but lately things are really..." "Messy' so to say. Some local groups are trying to return to the 'warlords and chiefs' system and I'm not in good terms with them yet." "Better be safe than sorry about it, right? Now, about tonight. You two will have to stay here, but tomorrow's morning Dorado can take you to Haypass or really wherever you want as far as Shore or M.C." "Well on the list of things that are messy I'd rank that up there with a toilet after bean burrito night." "How's that sound? Don't think I'm trying to say 'sorry' with this, I'm just helping with what I can..." She smiles awkwardly, while Dorado chuckles. Segura just downs a third shot... "I'd welcome a chance to sleep in a building for once, at the very least." "Oh, I want you to promise me something before I go." -*- Weathervane frowns mentally curses Brico for not doing more research on the location as she takes her third shot, hissing though not as harshly as before. "Well, we appreciate the extra help, all the same. Hopefully we can get a lot done in the few days..." She perks her ears up to Bal's statement. Roll a VITsave, weather !roll 1d20+3 Weathervane rolled 1d20: 1 Oh boy [oh god] -*- Weathervane feels her head swim as that last shot hit her especially hard. "Ohkay, fffnnuck..." das it mane, this one did it. Weather drank too fast and her body isn't that used to strong drinks like this one. Suddenly, she feels a tad dizzy and warmth, her cheeks flushed with red. [Have to go to bed but don't wanna.jpeg] [just] "You two Eternity. I need you two to promise me this." "Well I need to hear what it is first." Dorado keeps filling the empty shots. Bal and Weather getting a new one soon after they have finished their fourth and third one respectively. The chatter of the rest of the ponies at the table goes on vividly. "It's nothing tough or that'll make your lives harder... I want you two to trust ponies like these if you ever find them." -*- Weathervane knows she's at her limit as it rams into her like a truck, but she still keeps her attention turned to Bal to the best of her ability. "Right..." She knows she can't take another as she refrains for the time being, not wanting to go too overboard. She tilts her head towards Segura and Dorado. "You stumble upon troubles with mercenaries inside Tri--alliance territory? You tell them this 'I'm getting shot for saying hello'" "If your troubles end after saying that, then it's because you've stumbled with ponies that are sincere and smart, like my friends here. Ponies that want something good for everybody... life can be tough and that's why we all look rougher than what ponies at the central lands do..." "You are from the North anyway, I know things over there were pretty fucked up for a while... Alright. The promise is that you'll try to solve things peacefully as long as possible while you are on my territory, got it?" -*- Eternity smiles. "That... was actually pretty touching. And it's a reasonable enough request. I'll admit I probably... heh... jumped the gun a bit when you all showed up." "'Rougher'? Naaaw, if anything, we're comin' in here overdressed!" she says, a wry grin crossing her flushed face at her own joke. "But I getcha... thank you, for all you're doing. We'll do all we can to keep things civil on our end!" Bal gives both mares a genuine smile and downs her fifth shot! Her friends follow suit, and after burping subtly she chuckles and nods. "I can't blame you forreaction like you did. Dorado and Segura ain't screwing around with all the desert scum we've gotten lately... Someone reported the movie set to us as an enemy base camp for spionage..." "What the hell do they want to spy from us? That's stupid, that's ... look, whatever, I know some ponies really like to play this 'wargame' like if just keeping to ourselves like we do at Haypass is a declaration of war..." "I've seen that shit, many times. We've all here seen it thanks to ponies who justthink withtheir pockets, with their ambition... heartless horses. You two are..." Bal sounds drunker than normal, although she moves quite smoothly and her face isn't showing signs of an excess of alcohol. "You two are just two ponies that saved us from going to war again. Imagine it... massacre at Mexicolt: Prance beaks ties with the tri-alliance." "Next shit I know is they want to take over an island or get paid in tributes... Prancians are dicks. They've always..." "Bahaha... Looks like it's better if we cut it short here." -*- Eternity opts to remain quiet about how /she/ thinks the shootout would've gone. Although Segura is now standing still by Bal's side, waiting for her to get up, the general is plain staring at Nity and Vane, waiting for one to finish her last shot and the other to say something. "Well, in any case... I'm glad all of this worked out in the end, and I'm glad I got to meet you, General. You can rest assured knowing I'll uphold your request." "Oh, gosh... and all over an small art film..." She scrunches her nose, trying her best not to laugh knowing the potential gravity of what could have happened. But it's behind them now, rubbing her arm as the light-headedness sinks in more. The shot is still right in front of her, but she didn't think she should... Wouldn't want to overdo it if she were to go on-set the next day. "It's best for everybody..." The general gets up, gives the ponies a careless salute and trots for the exit. "If you are lucky and do well, you probably won't have to see me again. Good bye!" -*- Weathervane chirps cheerfully and gives Bal a wave. "Take care! Well do our best." Segura accompanies her outside, while Dorado's wife gets to clean the table calmly... The stallion glances from one of the guests to the other. "She doesn't quite look like a regular military mare, but she's managed to join the armies of many regions and survived to keep them like that." --> Raindrop (webchat@184.53.32.98) has joined #Roads "Well... when will you want me to get you to tomorrow? " so what did I miss "And where... I think morning is the best time to travel." [Everything] [we made equestria explode] [shhh White, theres things afoot here :D] [*Rain] [dam my need for money and food] -*- Weathervane nods, smiling. "Oh, I can believe it! There's a tenacity to her which demands respect... very impressive." [lurk mode engaged on phone, also happy Turkey day] "If I could get a ride to Haypass it'd save me a hell of a lot of walking." "Sounds good. What about you Miss Vane? I'm pretty sure your boss will be at Haypass too by tomorrow's night at most. He mentioned how he'll need to re-organize some 'ideas and edit others' before filming again." "Good chance to talk with him about Bal's offer. If you want we can catch up to him on the road that goes from Pueblo Seco to Haypass too, but I don't know at which time it'll happen." "Issat so?" This was news to her and the mare looked legitimately surprised, but it made sense that it was the case -- there's no point in going right back to filming after all that. "Well, shoot, sounds like a plan, then! We'll worry about the specifics when we get there." "Guess we're all heading to Haypass." "Perfect!" "It's the plan..." The stallion gets up slowly, and his wife gives him a quick kiss before trotting off to the room. "Nights at this town can be very cold, so we prepared a single room for both...w-we don't have more in any case, hah!" "Lots of covers, and I'll leave the bottle there if you need extra warm, hahah!" -*- Eternity smiles. "Oh don't worry us Cannonites are used to the cold." He moves over to a wooden door near the kitchen's entrance and opens it. A light bubl flickers a couple of times, then lightens the place definitively. There's a couch in the middle of the small room, with several sheets, covers and pillows over it. Around it, unused furniture can be seen. Dorado leaves the bottle over a nightstand and trots out of the room. "Sleep well, I'll wake you up tomorrow before breakfast." -*- Eternity relaxes a bit as she goes inside. She's gonna sleep with one eye open. -*- Eternity Its funny because she only has one eye haha -*- Weathervane nods gratefully. "Thank you so much! Yeah, a cold night shouldn't be too hard. 'Specially not after today." She lets out a small 'oof' as she lifts out of her seat, her head still swimming slightly as she follow him to the guest room. She wastes little time grabbing her blanket and settling onto the couch far too tired and still a little drunk as she waves -*- Weathervane to Dorado. "Good night!" "Buenas noches." He says to them, and goes to his own room after turning off the lights of the house... [if you want, you can RP a bit more between yourselves and such, but that's all for today. I hope you had fun!] -*- Eternity nestles herself with her back leaning against the couch as she sits on the floor, getting comfortable. [it was p gud. i need to sleep for realsies tho i got work tomorrow] [Yay Cury ! hi hi should I eat pure pie or wait? how you I'm comfy right now" yes, eat all pies -*- Weathervane is too tired IRL and IC, so I'll just say that she sleeps totally platonically with Eternity all night and me so sleepy, lel -*- Curiosity is 3tired >totally platonically nudge nudge wink wink
