>You open your eyes and see nothing but blue
>Upon standing, you locate yourself in Cloudsdale, somehow not falling to your death
>There is a huge cloud house in front of you and no ponies can be seen anywhere
>You decide the best course of action is to enter the house to see if any pony is there
>When you walk up the stairs and try the door, it is unlocked and you walk inside
>It is a vast mansion on the inside and you would have never known from just walking by
>It is empty though, no furniture and no ponies in sight
Hello? Is anyone here?
>A wheeze noise comes from down the hall
>You approach carefully, not knowing if this is a trap or not
>When you get down the hallway the wheeze is heard again, followed by a cough
>It directs you to the door on your left
>You open it and see Rainbow Dash lying there
>She coughs violently and looks up at you
>”What do you want?”
>She asks in a raspy voice
What happened here?
>You ask as you kneel down to her
>”N-Nothing! I'm fine!”
>She stands up and then curls down and goes into a coughing fit
>You wrap your arms around her and she cries into your shirt
There there...it's okay Rainbow. Want to tell me what happened?
>She sniffs and then wipes the tears from her eyes
>”N-No...”
>She pushes off you and flies up the stairs
>You run after her
>When you reach the room she slams shut, the world fades away to whiteness
>Then it rebuilds itself and you are standing at the racetrack in Cloudsdale
>Twilight told you about this place but you've never seen it in person
>You look to the vast bleachers made entirely out of clouds
>Then a voice attracts your attention to the beginning of the track
>Rainbow and some pegasus with a teal body and orange hair
>They stretch their backs out and a gunshot is heard
>Then they take off flying
>This is the most intense thing you have ever seen
>Rainbow flies through three hoops and curls up around a cloud while the other pegasus follows after her leaving a trail of orange lightning
>They soar into the sky then look at each other and nod for good luck
>Then they zoom down at crazy speeds and go past the stadium
>You look over the edge of the clouds and see the lightning pegasus gaining speed more rapidly then Rainbow
>Suddenly there is a teal and orange explosion of electricity that wraps the sky and sends Rainbow off course
>You then realize this was the other mare and your jaw drops as she swoops over and saves Rainbow from falling to her death
>Then she comes straight up the side holding Rainbow and orange lightning streaks behind her as she lands her safely on the cloud
>Then when Rainbow is good they shake hooves and the lightning mare takes off
>Rainbow looks at her hoof and tears begin to run down her face
>”I...I l-lost?”
>You begin to approach her to comfort her when the world fades to white once again, stopping you
>Then the mansion comes back and you are standing in front of the door Rainbow shut on you
Rainbow?
>You open it and see her hanging from a rope attached to the ceiling
>Quickly, you grab her and tear her off it
>Check her pulse and realize she's gone
>Your mouth opens and tears stream down your face
She didn't have to kill herself...
>After a moment of silence, you carry her down the stairs and place her on the floor of the mansion
>Scooping up some cloud in your hand, you mold it to the shape of a cross and place it between her hooves as she lays there staring into nothing
>After closing her eyes, you stand there, close your own eyes, and bow your head to pay your respects to her
>A gurgle noise is heard, making you open your eyes
>The cloud cross is gone and Rainbow's insides are moving around as if something is inside of her
>You walk over to see what it is when her mouth and eyes open
>Her eyes are black and seeping smoke and a rainbow colored snake slithers out of her mouth
>Then her body is brought to life by the snake and she stands there staring at you
>The snake wraps around her head and speaks
>”Come here ssssssssweetie...”
>It shoots some green stuff out of it's mouth and you dodge it barely
>Look over to where it landed and see that it has eaten through the cloud instantly
>The snake leaves Rainbow's head and snaps at your leg, catching you in it's grasp
>You scream out in pain as the snake wraps around your body with a vice grip and pulls you in to Rainbow
>The snake grips you harder and brings you over to her face
>The smoke from her eyes shoots out at your face and the snake grips hard, forcing you to try to suck in air
>The smoke enters your lungs and you try to cough it all out but can't
>You're choking on the smoke and you look to Rainbow as your vision fades
Why...are you doing this?
>The last thing you see is the snake moving around you so that it's face is in front of you
>”Failure isssss not an option...”
