"Card Games Are Hard When Your Opponent Grows (Moondancer)" By SizeShifter (https://pastebin.com/u/SizeShifter) URL: https://pastebin.com/k2cdEQkS Created on: Wednesday 23rd of September 2020 12:31:42 PM CDT Retrieved on: Saturday 31 of October 2020 06:22:36 AM UTC You shuffled your deck while trying very hard to look like you weren’t mana weaving. Because you weren’t! But what if it looked like you were? You’d already won two matches in this Hocus Pocus ???? Tournament and didn’t want to blow it now. These sweaty nerds all were looking for any sign of weakness, staring down at your deck, peering over their neckbeards ready to pounce. Your nervous shuffling almost was undone when you nearly dropped your deck at the sight of you opponent. A g-g-g-g-girl gamer!? She had red hair with a purple streak in it pulled up into a... not a ponytail, what the hell do you call that thing? And her glasses looked so cute on her. They were so big and dorky and- oh, she’s getting herself set up. Quick, say something cool! “Nice playmat. Cool design.” She looked down at her neutral black playmat and back up to you. “You good to go?” “Sure,” you forced out. That was rough, but at least you stopped yourself from saying something like, ‘You must be playing a blue deck because you just interrupted my heart beat’ or something else so dumb it would probably count as harassment just for how awkward and desperate it would sound. You both did the dice roll and drew. Going first you put down a land and a happy little goblin. You took your time with it though. She was cute and you needed to keep your mind clear so as not to think about females too much. She wore a very comfy looking black sweater and from what you could tell didn’t have much of a figure underneath it. There was nothing to distract you then! You were good! She plopped down a land and ended her turn. You both went back and forth a couple times like this, with you finding yourself doing your best not to look down her shirt when she leaned over to reach the middle of the table to play her cards. You swear you were normally better than this, but when you’d been exposed all day to wall to wall guys with bad hygiene it was nice to finally see a girl with hygiene that was at least passable. By turn six she finally was able to drop some extra resources. Seemed she was going for a mana ramping strategy and she was getting herself ahead of the curve compared to your progress so far. When she leaned forward this time you were quite surprised to see cleavage down there. You were sure that there hadn’t been much of note before, but now, wow, that was actually some bust on her. Not that it could be seen much through her sweater, from her slouching it could just be the way the sweater was falling on her, but there was definitely something different. You tried to ignore it and focus on the game. Throwing out some Lightning Bolts always made you feel better. Then it was her turn again and boom, a few more lands. Those were some risky combos she was pulling off, combos you’d certainly be bitching about online later, but her chancing things paid off and she was able to put down more lands. She hadn’t drawn into much to damage you too badly yet, so you’d have to end this quick before she got what she needed. When she went to attack this time, however, you realized she was no longer hopping out of her chair to reach the middle of the table. She just leaned forward and her long arms had little difficulty tapping and untapping her cards, though now her forearms were half exposed as her sleeves rode up. She stayed in that forward lean and looked at you. “You alright? You seem distracted.” You forced yourself to keep looking at those big eyes behind her glasses and not look at the heavier things now weighing down in front of her, pulling against the heavy weave of her sweater. You managed a thumbs up and she relented, slouching back in her chair, but even with her awful posture you now found yourself tilting your head upwards when you very much had to look down when she first showed up. Just focus on your cards and end your turn. Shit, how did you forget to play a land!? Stopping your mind from thinking about girls was harder than you thought. Your opponent drew a card and smirked. She tapped several lands and dropped down a big, beefy girl- you mean dinosaur, it was a dinosaur card. Strong enough to run over what you had out, but not enough to beat you this turn without more damage. She tapped one more land and threw a card down. “Now I play Giant Growth on my Big-O-Saurus.” She slid the card forward next to her dinosaur. As you looked at her hand you thought it was odd how small the card looked. Then you looked up to find she was no longer leaning right over the table, but really only had to move half what she had to before with all the size she had suddenly acquired. There was a metal groan as she scooted her chair back. “Sorry, it’s just kinda hard to see over these things now.” She hefted a breast that was now very obvious within her dark sweater. It had been pulled up from her growth enough to see her trim stomach. She tapped another land. “And I play another Giant Growth on the same card.” You hardly saw the change happen in her, but there was suddenly more of her than before. This time she wasn’t leaning forward to reach, but bending over because the table had become so far down for her. You could see her knees now as she bent her legs before pushing the chair farther back until it bumped the other player at the table behind her who paid her no mind. The sweater pushed up and out with its hem hanging forward, there being so much breast to contain that it would not rest against her body. She peered down at the board then tapped one more land. “Another Giant Growth.” Again, as if nothing happened she expanded outward, the sweater becoming more like an straining crop top with the undersides of her breasts showing. Her legs had run out of room and her knees now came to your eye level, her sweatpants pulled back to her calves, the elastic at the bottom looking like it would snap against the width it stretched around. When she leaned in to put the card down she couldn’t get her arm all the way to the table. Her chest pressed up against her legs and she couldn’t go farther so she opted to just toss the card onto the table. It seemed close enough to satisfy her and she took a look at the board situation again. You were pretty screwed. It took you much longer to process than it should, but you refocused enough to know that one more point of damage on her end would end this. As long as she didn’t have another Giant Growth. She leaned over, stretching her arm out, struggling to tap another land. You scooped up your cards before she could announce her card. You were going to lose and your brain couldn’t handle what might come were she to get even larger than now. “That’s it? You forfeit?” You nodded. “I forfeit.” As you put your cards together you looked back up and there was the normal, petite nerd you’d seen at the start. Whatever it was was completely gone. How did that happen? Was this all some weird trick to get you hot and bothered and throw the match? As she set down her hand and gathered the cards from the board you realized something. There was no fourth Giant Growth. You were so focused on her that you didn’t realized the chance of her having all four in hand at once was stupidly low and acted rashly. She moved to tap a card and your brain was too busy with a giant girl to think that it could be anything other than a game ending Giant Growth. You’d been played. That’s it, next time you’re playing Po-Ne-Oh.
