"Smash Moveset for Lizalfos" By NudeBeach (https://pastebin.com/u/NudeBeach) URL: https://pastebin.com/BYchXWnc Created on: Saturday 19th of October 2019 12:04:19 AM CDT Retrieved on: Saturday 31 of October 2020 03:53:29 PM UTC Up+B - Aerial Ally: Lizalfos crouches down low while the button is held and an Aeralfos flies toward him from above and behind at a decent pace, vanishing if the button is released early. If the button is held long enough for the Aeralfos to make contact, Lizalfos will grab onto his feet, and the pair will enter a controllable flight state for a few seconds. The Aeralfos ignores enemies, attacks, and surfaces for the entire duration of the move. If the flight time runs out, Lizalfos drops off the Aeralfos and enters helplessness. The flight can be ended early by touching the ground, which has next to no ending lag. Neutral B - Hot and Cold Breath: Lizalfos breathes a large stream of fire forwards for several seconds, which causes several flinching hits of low damage throughout, and ends with a hit of solid damage and knockback. The next time Lizalfos uses this move, he will instead spit 1-3 head-sized globules of ice in a weak arc up and forward, which deal good damage and freeze the enemy on contact. This propels enemies upwards slightly, like all freezing effects. The number of globules is determined by how much time passed after he last used the fire breath, with more time yielding more ice. Multiple globules are shot one at a time in progessively stronger arcs. After using ice breath, the next use of this move will yield the fire variant again. Fire breath goes through enemies, but not surfaces; ice breath does the opposite. Both variants destroy and go through enemy projectiles. Side+B - Lizal Boomerang: Lizalfos throws a lizal tri-boomerang forward, and it swiftly travels through the air before returning to his initial location in a high arc, or a low arc if down is held while the throw is performed. The boomerang moves quickly, goes through enemies, and does good damage and okay knockback both on the away and return trips, but will vanish if it hits a surface. While the boomerang is away, some of Lizalfos' normals change and become weaker and shorter-ranged. If the boomerang vanishes, or leaves the level entirely, Lizalfos produces another one in a small puff of smoke. Down+B - Thunderhorn: Lizalfos stands upright, arms hanging limply at his side, and he makes a distinctive, rumbling cry for several moments, before tensing up, and emitting a large field of electricity in a circle around themselves for the same amount of time. The electric field does modest damage to any enemy it hits, stuns them, and ignores surfaces. It has more endlag on a miss than on a hit, and the start-up animation can be canceled early by pressing shield or jump to return to a standing or falling (if used in the air) pose. Actually shielding, jumping, or doing anything else takes another input and another fraction of a second. Final Smash: The Scaled Tribe - Lizalfos jumps forward in a long, low arc. If he hits any enemies, he grabs them, and at the end of the jump, as the camera zooms in, a Geru wielding a mace will run in from the front, and strike them with it, which knocks them from Lizalfos' grip, and causes the action to shit to the interior of a Zelda dungeon. Inside the dungeon, Aquamentus and several Zazaks breathe a large wave of fire onto the enemy, dealing severe damage, and returning them to the level, where they suffer severe knockback. If two or more enemies are hit by this, Aquamentus is replaced by the two-headed Gleeok. Notes: Lizalfos uses his boomerang for some normals, and a lizal spear for others (including his dair). Naturally, these both go right through walls. His grab involves using his long tongue to snag the enemy, and also acts as a zair and a tether recovery. Lizalfos is an odd duck who can harass his opponent no matter the situation, but has to make bold, risky plays to seal victory. He has specials with large hitboxes, good reach on many normals, and several moves that have surprising amounts of power behind them. However, most of his specials take several seconds to come out, lots of endlag, or otherwise leave him vulnerable. He has a fast dash, but otherwise low speed, and average weight. He can cling to walls and swim for a long time. He has alternate costumes based on dynalfos (which replaces his spear with a large sword) and daira (which replaces his boomerang with a hand axe). LIZALFOS IS GONNA DO SOMETHING REALLY COLD-BLOODED!
