You seem a bit… off tonight.” >You give Applejack a confused look. >Her emerald eyes glisten in the moonlight. >They show genuine worry. >”Is it… is it about Pinkie?” >The sound of her name sends your thoughts askew. >You fear losing Pinkie as a friend. >Worse off, you fear something happening between her and Maud. >You hope that Pinkie will understand. >You don’t know what you’ll do if she doesn’t. >Applejack rubs your back a bit harder. >”Sugarcube?” >You shake your head furiously. >You need to focus. >You need to not worry. >As hard as it is not to. >You pat Applejack on the head. >Her eyes continue to show worry. “I’m… fine. Just a lot on my mind.” >Applejack wraps a hoof around you. >”If ya’ll need to talk about anythin’, Ah’m here for ya. Promise.” >You return the affection. >”Ah worry about ya sometimes, sugarcube.” >You hear a large ding coming from inside Applejack’s home. >Sounds like a grandfather clock dinging on the hour. >You gulp. >Midnight. >You get up and stretch. >Applejack shakily gets up. >”Thanks for drinking a bit with me, Anon.” >She yawns and stretches. >”Ah believe it is time for bed.” >You wish you could sleep instead of deal with this. >”The barn is open for ya…. Pinkie should be in there.” >Applejack gives you a hug. >”Be careful, Anon. Goodnight.” >You give her a nod. >She gives you weak smile before turning around and heading inside for the night. >You get up and begin to walk to the large barn overlooking the orchard. ~ >The barn door is slightly open. >You take a deep breath and exhale. >It’s now or never. >You push the door all the way open and walk inside. “P-Pinkie? Its me, Anon….” >You see no Pinkie. >But the inside of the barn is incredible. >Rose petals cover the floor. >There are scented candles lit all over. >The smell in the air is of… mmmm…. >Fresh apples. >Above, the roof was open, allowing the moonlight to pour in. >The atmosphere is… euphoric. >In the middle of the barn was a table a couple of plates and glasses. >A large bottle of what looks like wine is being chilled in ice next to the table. >Wow. >Pinkie tried her hardest tonight to impress you. >You don’t know if you can go through with this. >You walk towards the table. >You see a collection of ornate chocolates lining the table. >In the middle is a large heart made of chocolate. >You look around the barn. >No sign of the pink one. “Pinkie? Hello?” >You begin to worry that she may have taken extra measures to make you fall for her. >At this point, you don’t doubt it. >You decide to take a seat at the table. >Might as well play along. >After a few seconds, you hear hoofsteps from behind. >You turn around expecting to see Pinkie. >To your surprise, it isn’t. >A gray mare stands before you. >She is dressed in a long, slate gown. >The simple gown is sprinkled with glitter that shimmers beautifully in the moonlight. >Her mane was braided in the back, complete with a tie that features a large diamond. >Her beauty far surpasses everything that you could have ever imagined. “M-Maud!?” >She trots over to you, her hips swaying in that seductive manner. >The one that drives you wild. >The gray beauty gives you a small smile. >”Hello, Anon.” >You leap out of your seat, rubbing your eyes to make sure you aren’t imagining things. >You definitely aren’t. >Your gorgeous Maud is really here. >Maud walks up to you and presses her head into your waist. >She nuzzles you lovingly. “What are you doing here? Pinkie is supposed to be-“ >Maud places a hoof on your lips. >She shushes you. >”You do not need to worry about Pinkie.” >Maud pushes herself into your waist again. >Her loving nuzzles scaring you more than making you happy. >This is all seems quite odd. >And definitely unexpected. >Maud looks up into your eyes. >Her smile soon fades, as she sees your face. >You see her eyes redden slightly. >A tear forms, gliding down her cheek. >You kneel down and hold one of her forehooves. “Maud, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” >She sniffles, trying to hide her tears from you. >You gently rub her cheek, bringing her face back to you. “Don’t hide your beautiful face from me….” >Her eyes continue redden as more tears form. >You’ve never seen her like this. >Her tears are different this time. “What is happening? Tell me. Please.” >Maud closes her eyes, causing all of her tears to fall. >You wipe her face, pulling her closer to you. “Please talk to me. What is wrong, Maud? >Her crying begins to worsen. >The only thing she can do is throw herself into your arms. >You soon feel your chest become wet. >You hold onto Maud tightly, rubbing her back and caressing her mane. >Her tears are all you hear. >You comfort her as best you can. >You aren’t sure what else to do. >After long time, Maud begins to ease her crying. >You continue to hold onto her. >”Anon… I… I am so sorry….” >You pull Maud away and shake your head. “Maud, you don’t have to-“ >You are silenced by Maud’s lips pressing into your own. >She pulls away, leaving a trail of saliva between your lips and hers. >Maud’s red eyes stare into yours. >”I… I am sorry. For everything. I am leaving Ponyville tonight.” >You stare at Maud. “What do you mean ‘leaving’?” >Maud closes her eyes, suppressing more tears. >”I… I am going back to the Rock Farm tomorrow….” >She wipes her flushed face. >You don’t know what to say. >You gently push Maud away and get up. >She reluctantly lets go of you. >You cover your face and sigh deeply. >You don’t want her to see you crying. >She looks up at you with worried eyes. >She outstretches a hoof to you. >You turn around. >“I convinced Pinkie to not show up tonight. I wanted… just one last night with you.” >You try to walk further away, suppressing the tears that wish to escape your eyes. >Maud’s gentle voice rings in your ears, though it is causing you much pain. >She can’t be serious…. >How can Maud just leave? >”Anon.... I cannot be here anymore. I am… just causing too many issues.” >The tears flow harder. >”After what happened today with Twilight… I… I just cannot keep causing these problems, Anon.” >She trots up to you, putting her head into your thigh. >”It’s hurting me… and, worse off, it’s hurting you.” >You try to push her away, but she holds on to you. >Her strength is a force to be reckoned with. >”My sister wants to have you. She can just have you. I do not want you to be hurt anymore, Anon.” >You hear Maud sniffle again. >A breeze passes through the barn. >A few candles burn out. >”I just want you to know… that I… I lo-…” >She is overtaken by her tears. >More candles burn out, dimming the room. >”I… I love….” >Maud tries to speak, but her tears fight her. >You finally turn to Maud. >Your own tears mask your face. >More candles burn out. >Rose petals are strewn across the floor by the breeze. >Maud’s face is red, her eyes begging for your heart. >She slowly walks up to you. >Her body shaking slightly. “I’ll… I’ll go with you. If you really want to leave.” >Maud shakes her head and gives you a confused look. “I don’t have anything here. I can go with you!” >”Anon, please…. What about your friends and-“ “I would rather spend my time with you! I mean it!” >A tear falls down Maud’s cheek. >Her flushed face becoming redder. >She shakes her head. >”I do not want you to do that….” >You fall to your knees, staring at Maud. >She places her hooves around your neck. >You feel her heart beating. >It is slow, but heavy. “Maud, I… I can’t imagine my life without you.” >You feel her heart beat faster. >She sniffles once, nuzzling your neck. >She gives you a light kiss. “I’ll do anything, Maud. I swear. Just let me go with you….” >You latch onto the gray mare. >Your feel own heart beating rapidly against your chest. >”I can get all of my stuff and-“ >Maud continues to shakes her head. >”No, Anon. Stop. You will… only get hurt around me. My sister will keep following you, no matter what happens. She’ll never understand.” “I don’t care. I don’t care! I’ll go with you! Let me leave with-“ >”Anon… I… do not make me….” “Please, just-“ >”Anon!” >Maud cries and shakes her head. >”You can’t come with-“ >You kiss Maud on her lips. >You feel her heart beat as fast as yours. >Your kiss stops the tears, if only for a moment. >Clouds begin to move over the moon. >The moon slowly is covered, leaving the candles as the only light source. >Maud pulls away from your lips. >Her stare is warm, though worried. >Her eyes shimmer in the moonlight. >”Anon, I can not make you stay.” >She nuzzles your face. >Her warmth feels so nice. >”If you will leave with me, then so be it.” >You kiss her cheek once more. “I will go with you, Maud.” >You pull her closer to you. >Your mouth near her ear. >You whisper gently into her ear: “I love you, Maud.” >A few more candles burn out. >Maud presses her body hard against yours. >You fall backwards with Maud in your arms. >She kisses you more passionately than ever before. >Her lips and tongue meeting yours in a loving dance. >You pull Maud into your body. >She moans as you continue to make out. >You feel your heart slow down. >Everything around you slows down. >You hear the clouds above release a thunderous roar. >Maud pulls away from your lips. >Only for a moment. >Rain falls down, splashing onto the barn. >The gentle noise of the rain creates a gentle rhythm against the wood. >Maud leans her head by yours. >Your eyes closed, you feel her breath in your ears. >”I love you so much, Anon.” >You open your eyes slowly. >In the doorway you see a figure. >You open your eyes wider. >Your heart feels as if it drops out of your chest and through the ground. >Pinkie Pie stands in the doorway. >Her mane flat and wet from the rain. >The color gone seemingly gone from her fur. >She stands watching the two of you embracing in the middle of the barn. >”Anon, what is it?” >You stare at Pinkie. >Her face exuding a sorrow that you’ve never seen. >”Anon?” >Maud turns around. >The sight of her sister causes her to dismount you. >You get up slowly. >You hear another thunderous roar from above. >Pinkie slowly steps into the barn, soaked from the rain. >The closer she gets, the clearer you see her face. >If you could stop time, you would leave now. >But it’s no use. >You’ve been caught. “Pinkie….” >You quickly walk over to Pinkie. “Pinkie, wait… l-let me explain....” >Ignoring your presence, she continues to walk past you. >You turn around. >Maud stares at Pinkie. >Her face showing no emotion. >The rain begins to pour harder outside. >Pinkie stands a few feet from her sister. >Maud attempts to walk backward. >”Maud…. W-w-why?” >Pinkie’s voice shatters your eardrums. >Maud looks at the ground and shakes her head. >”Pinkie. You don’t understand.” >There is no way you are going to let Maud deal with this. >This is your fault. >Your problem. >You move in between the two sisters. >Pinkie’s eyes move past you, still locked onto her sister. “Pinkie. Please. It’s not Maud’s fault.” >Pinkie’s eyes slowly lock onto yours. >The cold chill of her stare sends shivers down your spine. “It’s my fault.” >Pinkie begins to cry as the rain pours even more ferociously outside. >She falls to the ground, covering her face with her hooves. >You try to get closer to Pinkie, but she swipes her hooves at you. >”Get away, Anon! Don’t get near me!” >You sigh. “Pinkie, I am so sorry you had to find out this way…. But you have to know the truth.” >Pinkie’s sobs louden. >A few more candles burn out. >Only a few more candles light the barn. >Maud steps to your side. >Her face still down in shame. “I never had a crush on you, Pinkie…. I’m so sorry. It was a lie I had to tell Mr. Cake.” >Pinkie sobs louder. >”You…. Y-y-you LIED TO ME?” >Your heart shatters bit by bit. >You are going to lose a friend tonight. >You just feel it. “I didn’t… I didn’t lie to you directly! You were never supposed to overhear me tell Mr. Cake that.” >Pinkie’s sobbing worsens. >”Why… w-w-w-why would you do that to me!? I… I-I thought you….” >She yells out in sadness. >”WHYYYYY!? WHY ANON!?” >Her tears hitting the ground seem louder than the rain outside. >Your heart can’t stay together much longer. >Maud trots up to her sister. >Pinkie ignores her. >”Pinkie….” >She pushes Maud away. >You take a deep breath and exhale. >This is far worse than you imagine. >How could you make her understand? “I was trying to… find out where Maud was. The truth is… I had a crush on her. I started feeling this way when you threw me that party the over night.” >Pinkie’s crying begins to subside. >Pinkie looks up at you. >She looks absolutely heartbroken. >You rub your face vigorously. “I’m so sorry, Pinkie. I mean it. I feel awful about this whole situation.” >The rain outside sounds as if it begins to lighten up. >Pinkie sniffles. >She sits up a little bit. >”Anon….” >Pinkie rubs her face. “I just didn’t get a chance to tell you. I tried, I really did. But I didn’t want to hurt you….” >Another instance of thunder makes your heart jump. >Pinkie sniffles a bit more. “It’s no excuse. It really isn’t. But I just want you to know that I didn’t mean for this to happen this way.” >Another candle burns out. >Pinkie lifts herself up. >She rubs her snout, sniffling lightly. >The rain slowly begins to subside. >You walk over closer to Pinkie. >Her eyes begin to return to their normal color. >”Anon… I really thought you liked me….” >You kneel down, placing a hand on Pinkie’s back. >She is apprehensive at first, but soon relaxes. “I promise, Pinkie, I like you. You are great. I just… I just fell for Maud.” >Maud walks up next to you. >She rubs a hoof along Pinkie’s face. >”Pinkie, I promise that I would never try to hurt my own sister like this. Anon is telling the truth.” >Pinkie sniffles once more, her eyes shifting between yours and Maud’s. “I’m sorry, Pinkie. I hope you can forgive me. Really. Please, just don’t take it out on Maud. It’s not her fault at all. You can put all the blame on me.” >The rain stops. >Pinkie rubs her face, still heaving lightly. >”Anon… You are so nice to my sister. Maud really cares about you.” >She looks over to Maud, giving her a weak smile. >”Even though I’m hurt, it makes me happy to see Maud happy.” >Your heart is about to fall to pieces. >Maud hugs her sister tightly. >The clouds above begin to slow dissipate, revealing Luna’s moon once more. >Maud gives her sister a kiss on her forehead. >”I am sorry that you are hurt, Pinkie. I hope that you will forgive Anon. And myself.” >Pinkie smiles, hugging her sister even more tightly. >”As long as Anon will promise to take care of you and make you happy….” >Moonlight begins to sprinkle inside, illuminating the darkened barn. >”… then I’ll be happy.” >The two sisters hold each other lovingly. >Your heart begins to reform. >You give the two mares a weak smile. >Pinkie pulls away from her sister and trots towards you. >”Promise me?” >You hold an invisible cupcake in your hand and pretend to shove it into your eye. >Pinkie giggles and gives you a tight hug. >Her color returns, and her hair poofs out. >The old Pinkie is back. >And she seems happy. >You hug Pinkie back, as tight as you can. ~ >Maud’s supposed surprise party was a success. >Ponies were everywhere. >Merry times were had. >Spike drank too much punch again. >The cake was great. >Everything was fantastic. >Best of all, you had Maud close to your heart. >You finish off a slice of cake. >You watch the party slowly die down. >A few ponies were saying their goodbyes and leaving. >Though Pinkie was break dancing all over. >Maud was sitting next to you. >Her head resting on your shoulder. >You offer her a piece of cake. >She shakes her head. >You could tell that Maud was enjoying the party. >But… maybe you could try and slow it down for her. >You signal over to the white unicorn with electric blue hair running the music. >She nods and pumps her hoof at you. “Maud, would you care to dance?” >Maud shakes her head again. >”I am ok, love. This song is too fast for me.” >She nuzzles you gently. >”You can go dance with my sister if you’d like.” >You stand up and stretch. >Your new glorious pinstripe suit fits excellently. >Thanks to Rarity and Twilight…. >The DJ proceeded to change up the song >And, subsequently, the mood. >Maud looks up at you. >Her ear twitches. >You extend a hand. >”…Fine….” >She slowly takes your hand. >You pull her to the dance floor as the lights above dim.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBiuQlW9tR4
>Maud practically falls into your arms as your reach the middle of the dance floor. >The slow song begins to play gently through the DJ’s speakers. >Not too loud, not too soft. >Just right. >You hold Maud close as you lead the dance. >She lays her head into your chest. >Though she is awkwardly standing on her hind legs, she manages to follow your lead. >The song gently rings though your eardrums. >It gives you the strength to take Maud on an emotional journey. >You twist and turn eloquently, your body connected to Maud’s. >And she happily follows. >Her eyes are shut, and she is breathing slowly. >She gives you a kiss on your chest. >You her a few ponies behind you “woo” mockingly. >You don’t even care. >You haven’t felt happier >Maud looks up at you and licks your cheek. >Your hands move lower on her back. >Dangerously close to her supple rear. >But just so. >Maud gives you a sly look. >”Save it for later.” >She sways her hips more intently. >You blush. >You nibble on Maud’s ear a bit, whispering sweet nothings as the song progresses. >Maud’s body becomes more relaxed. >You even managed to get a giggle out of her. >Your gorgeous mare is loving every second with you. >And you are doing the same. >She nibbles your ear back. >Her warm breath turning you on slightly. >”Move your hands… a little lower for me. >You follow her command without question. >You find both of your hands on her plump rear within seconds. >She moans gently as you cup each cheek. >She tightens her grip around your neck. >You give her a kiss on the forehead. >Maud responds by pulling you into a passionate kiss. >Her lips pressing against yours, the song comes to a close. >Maud pulls away, though she keeps her eyes closed. >”You and I are going to have some fun later.” >You nod, kissing her forehead again. >She shakes her rear. >”Just don’t forget how much I love you, Anon.” >She sucks on your bottom lip. >”Don’t ever forget that.” >You smile at her, your cheeks blushing furiously. “I won’t… as long as you know that no one is ever gonna love you more than I do.” >Maud seals the promise with another kiss to your lips. >”I love you, Anon.” >And with that, the song ends. >Though your life with Maud has just begun. ~
