Every time you make a fanfic a poni reads and shares to all equestria -------------------- The mirror was fogged over. It wasn't that humid inside and yet the bathroom mirror was totally opaque. He went to wipe it away when there was a light thud on the other side. Colorful shapes danced over the glass. One in particular became more defined, casting a shadow like it was less of a mirror than a window into the room. The toothbrush in his hand plummeted to the ground as he jumped backwards and watched in shock and dazed bewilderment. The shape against the glass moved, swiping across the glass. It wiped away the condensation, revealing an equine face with a rosey red mane and emerald green eyes. It glanced at him, looked right into his eyes and smiled before wiping away the rest of the fog. The image was perfectly clear. He tried to stammer a question but all he got was a gurgled "What. How?" "Anon, I wanted to say something," the pony said. "How?" the human repeated. Roseluck shakes her head. "I don't have much time." She clears her throat. "I enjoyed your work." Another couple of figures moved into view. "We all did," Daisy said while Lily nodded. "It wasn't much but we appreciate it. Your stories put a big smile on our faces," Rose continued. "And it totally makes us blush. You know, those stories," Lily grinned. "Keep up the good work." "Hope it didn't take up too much of your time," Daisy said, "but you know we wanted to say thank you." "From the bottom of our hearts," Roseluck finished. "Thank you for everything you've made, anon!" all three said in unison. Lily nudged Rose, looking at something off to the side. "We gotta go," "Yeah," Roseluck mumbled while Daisy groaned. "Bye, Anon. Don't let life get you down out there," Daisy smiled reassuringly as they started to back away from their side of the glass. Lily perked up, looking between him and Roseluck. "Rose, aren't you going to say it?" "Y-you're right." Rose took a deep breath as the glass started to cloud over again. She became frantic as it quickened. She jumped forward, hooves pressing against the ever darkening glass. The color vanished in a tightening spiral drawing in around her face. "Anon, I-I-I love you! You're a very special person; don't let anyone tell you you're not!" Then it was gone. They were all gone. Out of his life like it was never happened. He wiped at the glass but he could never bring them back. Later, he never told anyone what had happened. Over time he thought he had gone insane and hallucinated it. Whatever madness he thought he had gone through in that particular moment, he flung himself back into his work. He could never throw off that tiny whisper from the back of his mind that asked himself, "What if it really did happen?"
