>Repeating the date over and over in your head
>Like turning a coin in the palm of your hand, your mind loops in on itself
>Had 6 months really came and gone that quickly ?

>The first day jags in your mind like broken glass
>The first time seeing those imposing gates
>Like stalwart guardians they towered over the facilities
>Promising swift and brutal justice for wrong-doers
>But now the gate offers a different perspective
>Now it is the small gap between here and the rest of your life
>Standing in this courtyard, waiting on those gates to open
>This was your purgatory
>Waiting for those gates to swing open
>Whether for better or for worse
>You take one last look at the logo on the gate
