The first of the Divinist religions, its recent split with Gray Divinism has led to multiple religious wars and, recently, an inquisition. Priests are often no different from common preachers, though Bishops of the Faith do possess Divine magic. Primarily of the Knowledge, Light, and Order domains, the Cult of Divine Plenty are well-esteemed for their consistent pressure for civic works and charity to the peasantry by the nobility. Its power has waned since the destruction of Old Villakoz, though it is exceedingly wealthy and still possesses fangs. It is no stranger to controversy, with many of its tenants being ignored on occasion by its Ecclesiarcy. It is currectly helped by Pope Gentle the 7th at its seat in Viccarum. Gray Divinism: Established due to a disillusionment with Papal corruption, Gray Divinism touts itself as the true interpretation of the Divine Will. Established in Villakoz first, it was driven out through multiple religious wars and came to be held largely by Counts and Princes wishing to shake the yoke of Divine Plenty's control. Calling upon the Life, Grave, and Protection domains, Gray Divinism preaches less in the absolute good of the Divine Source and its Heralds, and instead in the free will and benefits of goodness. While much poorer than the Cult of Divine Plenty, it gives much more and ironically is far more militant. It's current power base is in the Kingdom of Altovar, as the Kingdom has the stability needed for their current survival. Despite this, their influence in what remains of Villakoz is still strong. They have managed to adapt to the persecution from the Cult of Divine Plenty and preach in secret to undermine what they see as a corrupt church. Bar Uruh Paganism: carried mostly by the Orcs, Gnolls, and savage Men, Bar Uruh Paganism is a shamanic polytheistic religion. Worshipping the Wolf Lord, the Mother Bear, the Spirit of Frost, and many more minor deities, this decentralized religion sees little in the way of religious wars (though is a great target for them) or conversions. What it lacks in virulence it more than makes up for with savagery and empowering rites. Rituals call for prosperous harvests and bountiful raids. Sacrifices of blood or livestock ensure the gods hear the wishes of their worshipers, who are likewise granted power and strength. Its domains are primarily Nature and War, though Druidic magic is largely indistinguishable. Cult of Seven Saints: The remaining seven domains each have a cult of a saint that personifies that domain. Their creeds are as varied as their paths, and each touts their saint as having communed with the Divine Source directly.
