As you begin to hone in on your destination, you begin to see "them" moving about to and fro. It's just one here and there at first, but as you draw nearer to the destination Cassandra pointed out, it soon becomes impossible to maneuver your giant ship without hitting any of "them."

When you touch down, not only do you come across HORDES of "Them", you also can see a couple of Team Aether goons mucking around with a tablet near the Earth. "They" seem to be circling the earth, waiting on any poor Dreamscaper to emerge before viciously attacking it, ripping both it and the passenger aboard to shreds. Few seem to be able to escape this thick crowd.
