Trigger: Your Pokemon is targeted by a move. Effect: Your Pokemon immediately shifts in such a way that it would avoid the incoming move, if its movement capabilities would permit. If it’s unable to shift out of the way, it takes no damage from the move. Only additional effects with the “Spirit Surge” keyword may activate, should the result of the accuracy roll permit. (Possibly consider this feature as capable of being used as a free action if “Give It Your All” is as well?) What Happens if this feature were to be used against “Give It Your All?” – Possible Ideas 1) One of the features always takes priority over the other (to be determined which). If they clash, only the feature which is decided to take priority will be used up. The other feature, while it still takes up the Trainer’s action for that round, will remain unused. 2) The users of the competing features roll competing 1d20 checks. The feature whose user scores a higher roll takes priority over the other, and both features’ uses are spent. 3) In the event that the “Give It Your All” move is an “Area of Effect” move (Spray, Burst, Blast, Column, Beam, etc.), the feature is successfully used, and damages all other legal targets. The Pokemon who uses this feature dodges the move. Both features are used. [12:22:43] Oh, right. Remembered something. [12:22:47] Timing on declaration... [12:25:00] It'd probably have be decided in a similar manner to however it's decided for Protect or Detect or the like, if anything's been established for that...
