"Space Battleship Rules" By Botherer (https://pastebin.com/u/Botherer) URL: https://pastebin.com/y4p38GmW Created on: Thursday 19th of July 2012 02:02:27 PM CDT Retrieved on: Sunday 1 of November 2020 03:07:06 PM UTC Space Battleship Rules * The match is a 4v4 Battle, to be played with the challenger’s choice of whether or not there will be Interference permitted (Trainers can perform not-legal Features, engage in combat, and make use of their Equipment); it can be participated in as a Singles or Doubles match; you may have up to two teams of four participating. * We will agree on a number of “rounds” of Battleship to be played between each round of combat. (Botherer recommends 5 shots between rounds so that we don’t end up accidentally into-ing, like, thirty rounds of combat in the event of us being mutually terrible at Battleship.) * Everyone, Trainers inclusive, starts aboard one of the ships. Both players are aware of who is aboard which ship. If a ship takes enough damage to be sunk, all Pokémon and Trainers aboard the ship drop down to ground level (Your team can drop down anywhere between Columns A and F, and they between O and T), and can be targeted by foes who are also on ground level. * If the match is Interference Legal and a ship the Trainer is aboard is sunk, they may fight until they are reduced to 1 HP. When this happens, they are eliminated, and may only make use of League Legal features. If the match is not Interference Legal and the ship a Trainer’s aboard is sunk, they may only use Static features to assist their Pokémon. * Pokémon who are still aboard their ships may only target themselves or Allies that are also aboard a ship with their Moves. If the Move is Melee-ranged, the range is restricted to Allies on the same ship as them. * If all five of a player’s ships are sunken, the special effect “Sink or Swim” activates: At the end of each round after their last ship is sunk, each of their remaining participants’ HP is reduced by one fourth of its maximum until reduced to 0.
