[18:06] <Damia> On the road back to the oasis city, there isn't too much to do. Once out of the titanic graveyard that is Red Claw's base...well, a long walk is ahead. Damia attempts to walk with a dancing Cherrim on her head (as a sort of reward), but nothing else is of particular note. Walkin, walkin.
[18:06] <Damia> <HELLFIRE MINI GO, LET'S SEE IF THIS GETS ANYWHERE>
06[18:08] * Clark remembers something important, then dashes off in another direction entirely.
06[18:10] * Iris Walks calmly by Damia with a soft smile. She was feeling good with having conquered Red claw and walked away with so much, heck she was still fiddling with the bastards head that had been cleaned out by Valerie
06[18:10] * Corey ambles back on the road to Phenac, once again with his Braviary perched atop his shoulders in an otherwise unrealistic manner. As he watches the Luxio(?) dash off, he can't help but wonder to himself out loud, "Where do you think he's running off to?"
[18:11] <Iris> "Probably to get to the Arena and get a good site to mock us when the tournament starts over"

[18:12] <Damia> A sudden change of pace. Did the kitty snap out of whatever was causing it to talk or something? It's impossible to know, but Damia's surely bored enough to follow along. "Heh. ...I hope it does start over. I'll admit luck was the only reason I was going to pull through the first time, but now..." If this were 100% anime style, there would be fire in her eyes, and that would be bad.
[18:12] <Damia> "...but I don't think it's going there. We're on our way there, and it went off in another direction entirely. ...Kind of want to follow it."
[18:13] <Iris> "Oh yes, especially after what happened to Fang. I can feel his ball quivering. Something big happened during the Fight"

06[18:13] * Brusier_Mao is totally here, just lagging a bit behind from fighting
[18:14] <~GMW> Clark is rushing off to the eastern forest at lightning speed, and Damia is having some trouble keeping up.  The underbrush is getting thicker as they go, and every so often you can see eyes glaring at you from the underbrush.
06[18:14] * Damia naturally does. It's going pretty fast. Come on, a burst of speed...
[18:15] <~GMW> Damia picks up the pace, keeping up with the electric feline, if only barely.
06[18:15] * Brusier_Mao looks around and shrugs. "Where did Damia go!?"
[18:16] <Damia> ...Close enough. If she wants another speed boost, she might take it and trip. How would she follow then?
[18:17] <Iris> "Hmmm i dunno, maybe she was sick of the cats mouth and decided to catch it?"
06[18:17] * Brusier_Mao looks around. <Damia! Can you hear me!?>
[18:17] <~GMW> Mao must have been too busy looking after his wounded Pignite to see where Damia ran off to, unfortunately for him.  Though there are some fresh footprints left in the mud underfoot.
[18:18] <Damia> And thanks to that speed boost, she's probably out of range. But, those footprints are there for anyone that wants to follow the follower.
[18:20] <Damia> But someone manages anyway. They aren't exactly in words, but you'd probably guess that she's in hot pursuit of the cat due to the simple thing known as curiousity.
06[18:20] * Brusier_Mao tries to follow where he last... "Heard" the thoughts
[18:21] <~GMW> The thoughts, along with the footprints, allow Mao to roughly follow the path Clarn and Damia took to the eastern forest.
06[18:21] * Iris tilts her head and sighs following after Mao wondering what the hell everyone is going after
[18:21] <~GMW> (Clark* too)
06[18:21] * Brusier_Mao slows down so Iris could follow
[18:22] <~GMW> After advancing for a short while, the eyes glaring out from the surrounding foliage become a lot more common, and there almost feels like there's a static cling to the air.  To Clark, the reason is obvious, but the situation is far stranger for the humans following him.
06[18:23] * Brusier_Mao looks around a bit. Getting a little uncomfortable.
[18:23] <~GMW> A pair of eyes lock onto Mao and narrow themselves, looking over him curiously.
06[18:24] * Brusier_Mao looks at the eyes, slowing a bit
06[18:24] * Iris follows beside Mao and looks a bit uncomfortable, one hand resting on her belt and the other... Well her left hand was looking a little strange. Mainly due to her new 'glove', namely Red Claws skull
[18:25] <Damia> It begins to dawn on Damia that perhaps this Luxio is going somewhere it belongs, which is also somewhere she doesn't. Her pace quickly slows, and then reverses. Better worry about going to town instead.
06[18:25] * Iris decides to scare the shit out of Mao as 'red claw' pops up in his periphreal vision, snapping its jaws as she stage whispers as if he's talking "I got a baaad feeling human"
06[18:27] * Brusier_Mao responds by throwing Iris over his shoulder into a tree, getting in battle stance. "AH!"
06[18:27] * Iris thuds wincing but grins before standing up and shaking it out of her with a grin
[18:27] <Iris> "Don't like my new 'glove'?
[18:28] <Brusier_Mao> "... No." Mao looks a bit relieved to see it was just Iris
06[18:28] * Iris giggles and pouts as she finally pops off Red Claws skull from her hand, tilting her head as she considers it before putting it in one of her belt pouches. For now.
[18:33] <~GMW> The foliage clears slightly, making way for a heavily forested clearing.  The source of the glaring eyes are obvious now: Shinx and Luxios are all around the area, watching Clark and the humans at every moment.  Whatever is going on here, they seem tense.
06[18:33] * Brusier_Mao walks forward and keeps his distance
[18:34] <~GMW> One of the Luxios eventually approach Clark, a frown on its face.
[18:34] <~GMW> <Luxio> "Clark, what are you doing here?  Aren't you supposed to be with your followers to the north?"
06[18:34] * Damia totally decided to just turn around a bit ago...but now that everyone seems together, perhaps it would be a good time to 'oops'...or at least, just keep the distance. Let's just keep the distance.
[18:35] <~GMW> The words... are in straight-up English?  They don't come from inside your mind at least.  Incredibly odd.
[18:35] <Brusier_Mao> <Talking Cats!> Mao projects his thoughts to the group. He still doesn't have that downt too well
[18:36] <Damia> It's like there's really a pack of these things. That's a good large amount that might be doing the same...but it doesn't concern her at all. Had she realized that earlier, she wouldn't have followed. Oops.
[18:36] <Iris> "Seriously is it common for Pokemon to talk out here?.... then again if sly could Talk, I'd prolly get in a LOT more trouble"
06[18:36] * Iris tilts her head considering that
[18:37] <~GMW> The Luxio turns its gaze from Clark and looks back at the distanced humans.  "And humans?  HUMANS?!  Clark, what are you doing here?"
06[18:37] * Brusier_Mao 's Kabul catches up. He was oof doing something. Something
[18:37] <Brusier_Mao> <Yo Mao I don't think we supposed to be here.> Kabul nods. Mao shrugs. "Shush"
06[18:45] * Clark casts a panicked look behind him, then returns to the Luxio, with a slightly concerned face. "I had no idea they followed me. I was merely checking on your status after Red Claw had invaded."
[18:49] <Damia> "If you didn't want us to be here, you PROBABLY should have said something. Just a thought."
[18:50] <Brusier_Mao> <Damia: You did kinda follow him!>

[19:03] <~TheBMW> <Luxio> "The pack?  You mean the Shinx that left with-"  The Luxio is cut off as a terribly loud roar resonates through the forested clearing from somewhere deeper inside.  "...I think Khan heard us."

[19:04] <Clark> "...Please don't tell me he's had a bad day."
06[19:04] * Iris raised her brow at the roar as she finally reached Damia with Mao, looking at the assembled electric types curiously
[19:05] <~TheBMW> <Luxio> "We were getting attacked by bugs all day, of COURSE he's had a bad day.  We all have.  You might want to get out of here before he rushes out here."
06[19:05] * Brusier_Mao hides behind a bush
[19:06] <~TheBMW> <Luxio> "And get those humans out of here, they're only making this harder on us!"
[19:06] <Brusier_Mao> <Damia: I don't like this place.>
[19:06] <Damia> <And I'd beat the crap out of it. Takes a little more than that thing to kill me. Maybe whatever made that roar might have done something, though. Try not to stay in one place with your hiding, and just listen to...that other Luxio and get out of here.>
06[19:07] * Clark turns around and snaps a panicked "Run! Leave if you hold your lives dear!"
06[19:07] * Brusier_Mao looks up confused. "Eh?"
[19:07] <~TheBMW> Upon Clark's outcry, another roar blasts forth from the inner clearing.  This time, it's much louder and much closer.
06[19:07] * Damia gets out of here. Khan is just a terrifying name, and they had no reason to be here in the first place. "I like my life. That thing might not be able to kill me, but hell if I'm about to find out."
[19:08] <Brusier_Mao> <You herd dat Mao, it's time to go.> Kabul Pulls Mao away, Mao struggling. "Hey Kabul stop that!"
06[19:08] * Clark cowers for a second, but mans up and turns around.
06[19:08] * Iris shrugs and turns walking off. She's not going to haul ass for any pokemon, outside maybe Gyrados, but she is getting out of sightline 
[19:10] <~TheBMW> Suddenly, a massive black and blue form dashes into the clearing from further inside, and lets out an ear-splitting roar that sounds all too familiar to the two earlier one.  As the creature stops mere feet from Clark, it becomes clear that whatever it is, it's old and powerful.
[19:10] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "I smell... HUMANS!  WHERE ARE THEY?!"
[19:10] <~TheBMW> The other Shinx and Luxios merely cower down, unable to reply.
[19:11] <Clark> "Khan."
[19:11] <~TheBMW> A growl is let out as the massive Luxray looks down, focusing on the enlightened Luxio.
[19:12] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "Clark, I should have known... don't you have a dead rat to be caring about?"
06[19:12] * Brusier_Mao pushes Kabul away. "Hey I said let me GO!"
06[19:12] * Brusier_Mao stomps. "I can walk myself"
[19:13] <Clark> "...I was taking care of Red Claw, before anything else."
[19:13] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "Hrmph.  You're still here, so either you ran away like the coward you are... or you killed him.  Which one?"
[19:13] <Damia> So they might find out anyway. Mmmm. Given that she's probably in the sight of the Luxray, not much else to do but keep quiet. That's a good idea. That thing probably doesn't want to be pissed off anymore than it is, and they just got done taking care of Red Claw. Rather not deal with this too...well maybe after a break this would be possible, but not now.
[19:14] <~TheBMW> The Luxray begins to circle Clark, grinning ever so slightly with a demented twist.
06[19:14] * Brusier_Mao is currently looking at Kabul, tapping his foot. "You always treat me like a kid!"
06[19:15] * Iris sneaks up behind mao and lightly slugs him in the back "Your pokemon just loves you, cheer up" she coos quietly
[19:15] <Clark> "Killed, as one would only expect of one from such a diverse lion such as you."
[19:15] <Brusier_Mao> Kabul shrugs cooly, not showing a response. "You stay out of this."
[19:16] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "Impressive, squashing a bug that pretended to be as strong as steel.  You have my thanks, but it changes nothing.  You have a lot of nerve showing up here after threatening the pride!"
[19:17] <~TheBMW> The talking Luxio from earlier quietly scoots over to Damia with a massive frown.  "Human, you should get out of here before he gets even angrier..."
[19:17] <~TheBMW> Khan glares over at Damia and the Luxio upon the request, but quickly turns back to Clark.
06[19:18] * Clark clears his throat. "I have threatened none of our kind."
[19:18] <Brusier_Mao> "oh hell where's flower girl"
06[19:19] * Brusier_Mao runs back to where he can hear her.... Thinking
[19:19] <Damia> A nod, before she does just that. Respecting the obvious wishes of the Luxray, she quietly goes to make her way out...Cherrim still managing to be on her head. (The poor thing is terrified of the Luxray, too.)
[19:19] <Clark> "Indeed, your views merely stagnates our pride as a whole."
06[19:20] * Iris sticks close to Mao and joins him and Damia when she backs away. Mainly, she has the feeling if this comes to blows, they should not fight individually
[19:20] <~TheBMW> Khan stops circling, instead now practically pressing his massive, glaring face against Clark.
[19:20] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "You DARE question my rule little Luxio?"
[19:21] <Clark> "Not your rule, KHAN, your visions."
06[19:22] * Brusier_Mao whispers over to Iris. "Should we just leave the kitty?"
[19:22] <~TheBMW> The Luxray lets out another angry growl before bothering to reply.  "Everything I have done, I have done it for the pride!  Mingling with an electric rodent only muddles it!  If your father acted like you, you would not be the way you are now!"
06[19:22] * Iris whispers back "It's tempting, but Damia seems to mostly want to stick around. And we do kinda owe him for helping with Red Bug"
[19:23] <Brusier_Mao> "I don't know... She just left off."
06[19:23] * Brusier_Mao looks around
[19:23] <Damia> She's totally not sticking around. She's already gone.
06[19:24] * Clark presses back. "Everything YOU have done is nothing but isolating our relations with most-anything!"
[19:27] <~TheBMW> With a snarl, Khan backs up slightly, but keeps his glare.  "Relations with what?  Spineless bugs?  Electric rodents?  Mindless hounds?  We are the pinnacle of perfection in this forest, and to keep it that way we must keep the pride pure!"
[19:28] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "You are young little Clark, do not forget this.  In time, you will understand why I think the way I do.  But for now, you seem quite satisfied with letting petty feelings endanger yourself and the rest of us!"
06[19:28] * Iris wants to run but damn this is interesting
[19:29] <Clark> "What will you do when the 'spineless bugs', 'rodents' and 'mindless hounds' band together to rid you and this 'purity' form this forest, due to lack of resources? Surely, they must outnumber you by the tenths, if not hundreds!"
[19:30] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "If what you say is true, you and a few pitiful humans killed the supposed king of this forest!  That speaks numbers of our power, don't you think?"
[19:31] <~TheBMW> The red, glaring eyes focus away from Clark, turning to look straight at Mao and Iris.  "And of the humans you could have dragged along, you chose THESE pitiful specimens?"
[19:31] <Clark> "I had the help of humans from the city, paired with 'spineless bugs', 'mindless hounds' and 'rodents'."
[19:32] <Brusier_Mao> "HEY! TAKE THAT BACK!"
06[19:32] * Brusier_Mao accidently yells
06[19:32] * Iris raises a brow taking offense to that
[19:32] <Clark> "Those pitiful specimens are those who landed the killing blow."
[19:33] <~TheBMW> Khan only grins at Mao's outburst, but it immediately turns to an angry frown as he turns back to Clark.  "But you are the one who led them all, yes?  The one who did the most to it?  Or are you as weak as I take you for?"
[19:33] <Clark> "I didn't lead. I am no leader."
06[19:33] * Iris lets out a low whistle just to make sure she has attention as she leans back against the tree, idly flipping her new toy. Yes, to prove her pitifulness to poor Khan, she is idly playing with Red Claw's dismembered head. How sad and weak she must be
[19:34] <Clark> "They fought alongside me. I wouldn't have done it without them."
06[19:34] * Brusier_Mao just looks at Iris. "Those look cool I wanted one..."
06[19:34] * Brusier_Mao pouts
[19:34] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "Then it seems that I am still right about you little Clark.  You are a disgrace to the pride, and you should learn to stay away!"
[19:35] <~TheBMW> A random Shinx pipes up.  "H-Hey, Clark isn't a disgra-"  "SILENCE!"
[19:35] <~TheBMW> The Luxray then turns back to Mao and Iris, and resumes his demented grin.  "So casual in the midst of a god.  What are your names human, if you think yourselves so better than us?"
[19:36] <Iris> "I don't consider myself better then you, thats what fighting proves. But I don't consider myself pitiful or below you either. Names Iris"
[19:36] <Brusier_Mao> "I don't think I'm better than anyone! But I am Mao!"
06[19:36] * Brusier_Mao 's Kabul shakes his head
06[19:37] * Brusier_Mao whispers to Iris. "He's kinda scary"
[19:37] <~TheBMW> The Luxray starts to approach the human duo, dirty grin still painted on his face.  "Not below me?  So blind to the truth pitiful little human.  Perhaps you should return to your forest and hide behind its walls?"
[19:38] <~TheBMW> (city* even)
06[19:38] * Iris laughs and turns to mao, letting the luxray hear "He's damned scary, but We went up against Red Claw and the Gyrados. I'm not going to piss myself because he barks at me"
[19:39] <~TheBMW> Khan lunges forward, directly in front of Iris and Mao, then starts to roar with all his might.

06[19:40] * Brusier_Mao closes his eyes. "Eek!"
[19:40] <~TheBMW> GodDAMN, that is loud.  Mao can still hear fine afterwords, but Iris seems slightly deafened after a few moments.
06[19:41] * Iris blinks hard and begins trying to clean out her ears with a finger, eyes narrowed. She couldn't hear shit.... that... damn, that was scary
[19:41] <Iris> "Excuse me, did you say something?"\
[19:41] <~TheBMW> Khan then jumps backwards, looking over the two of them.  "Iris... and Mao... interesting names, but why should I remember them?  All you did was kill a bug."
06[19:41] * Iris obviously doesn't hear Khan, ow
06[19:41] * Brusier_Mao is shaking a tiny bit. He might be a little scared. Okay very scared. It's a giant lion... But but he's not gonna take that. "I'M GONNA BE THE BEST BRAWLER!"
06[19:41] * Brusier_Mao yells and stands his ground, shaking a bit
[19:42] <Clark> "All they did was kill a horde of bugs that you had to run from, Khan."
[19:42] <~TheBMW> Khan only laughs with his booming voice.  The Shinx and Luxios look around nervously at one another, then laught along slightly.
[19:43] <Brusier_Mao> "A-and one day I'm gonna defeat you!"
[19:43] <~TheBMW> <Khan> "Run?  I care less about the workings of bugs, they die when they LOOK upon me.  Red Claw could have done whatever he wished, it only served to amuse me."
06[19:43] * Brusier_Mao looks serious.. Okay a little scared. Okay very scared. Yes that proclamation was a filled with fear
[19:43] <~TheBMW> The laughter becomes even louder at Mao's second outburst.  "Defeat me?  DEFEAT ME?!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
[19:43] <~TheBMW> The Shinx and Luxios aren't laughing anymore, they only glance at one another in mild terror.
06[19:43] * Brusier_Mao sighs a bit, more relieved Khan isn't attacking him.
06[19:44] * Damia might even be able to hear the laughter, and is honestly glad to not be there either way.
[19:45] <Iris> "Well if it helps your perception of us, we didn't just throw pokemon at Red Claw. We actually beat the crap out of him with our fists. No point using pokemon to hide behind"
06[19:45] * Iris digs into her ear glad she can hear again

[19:46] <GMW> <Khan> "Is that so?  Is there any truth to that little Clark, or are they lying to try and intimidate me?"
[19:47] <Clark> "It is so. They rivalled even your ferocity."
[19:47] <GMW> Luckily for Damia, she doesn't hear all the commotion after putting some distance between her and Khan.
[19:47] <Brusier_Mao> "I-I punched him!"
[19:47] <GMW> <Khan> "Rivaled?  HAHAHA!  Now you have made me curious!"
[19:48] <GMW> With another roar, Khan leans down into a battle stance.  "Are you prepared to show yourself before the god of the forest?"

[19:48] <Iris> "Oi, you may be scary and powerful. But I'll have you know i took up pokemon training because People kept telling me it wasn't right to just kick the crap out of my opponents myself!"
[19:48] <Brusier_Mao> "I-I'm not ready to fight you!" Mao admits, quite terrified
[19:49] <GMW> <Khan> "Then you LIE to me Clark, once again you have disgusted me and the rest of the pride!"
06[19:49] * Iris moves to get into a fighting stance as her legs shake and she growls "Well hell, if im not going to die, i'm used to getting my ass kicked. Try not to kill me and i'll damn well try to see how strong you are"
06[19:49] * Brusier_Mao charges at Khan, kinda afraid, flaming fist ahead
06[19:50] * Clark walks over to the humans, and turns to Khan. "I haven't lied. A battle of that magnitude would make you winded."
[19:50] <GMW> With booming laughter, Khan simply leaps back, escaping Mao's frightened flaming fist.  Laughter turns to fury as he leaps up, electric fangs bared.
06[19:51] * Iris seeing her friend in trouble gets over her feat, and even as Khan sinks his fangs into Mao (or herself), Iris rears back and slams her fist into his nose.
[19:52] <Iris> over her fear*
06[19:53] * Brusier_Mao 's Kabul tries to sneak the Luxray
[19:54] <GMW> Mao can only stare in terror as the fangs latch into his shoulder, then send unimaginable electricity through his body.  He can only stand there, constantly twitching and trembling, before he finally collapses onto the ground unconscious.  Kabul could only move so fast, and is left staring at the mess.
[19:54] <GMW> Khan removes his fangs, only to get socked in the nose.  Only, uhh, he doesn't look injured.  At all.  His glare focuses on Iris.
06[19:55] * Brusier_Mao falls, in pain. Ouch ouch ouch... Fading fast ee.... Unconcious. Kabul quickly picks up Mao and stands in front of them
[19:55] <GMW> The Luxio that talked earlier sneaks over to Clark and speaks in a hushed tone.  "W-What do we do?  He's gone crazy!"
[19:55] <Brusier_Mao> <Yo dawg. I ain't gonna let you hurt these kids>
[19:56] <GMW> <Khan> "Pitiful.  Just as I had expected.  Leave this place human-follower, you don't belong here before the pride!"
06[19:56] * Iris steps back but doesn't run. Noticing Khan not following through, and Mao bleeding a storm, she does spray a potion on him to make sure he doesn't die.
06[19:56] * Clark stands speechless, but shakes his head. "What we have always done to frenzied members, I guess. He is one of us." mumbles Clark.
[19:56] <Brusier_Mao> <Fine then. I'm out yo. Come on chick, we don't need to be here.>
[19:57] <GMW> <Luxio> "Y... you mean...?  Clark, you're insane, he could butcher us, we need help!"

[19:58] <Clark> "And help is what I'll get. Just hold out."
[19:58] <GMW> <Luxio> "I... okay, okay, I will.  What should I tell the others?"
06[19:59] * Iris flits a look to the Kabul as she glares at Khan but finally slips out of her fighting stance. "Alright, fine, your too strong for me without my pokemon. Probably with them too. I can admit that"
[19:59] <Clark> "Make him believe that he's still in the right, supported by the masses."

[20:04] <GMW> The city looks to be some distance away, but Iris' well-timed Potions seems to have slowed the bleeding substantially, and it is still working into the wound.  He should be fine for the time being.  Or rather, keep his life.

[20:04] <GMW> The crackle of thunder is heard one last time as the sky to the south seems to begin to clear.  The storm is nearly over.

06[20:05] * Iris rushes to keep up ignoring as she bleeds a bit from the big wounds in her stomach from her fight with Sting

[20:09] <GMW> Phenac City, the capital of the Orre desert, will likely take a short while to reach once more.  The main group continues for a little while before seeing Arther, Corey, and Damia up ahead.  As long as they stray away from the lake, they shouldn't have any further trouble in this blasted forest.
[20:11] <GMW> Mao slowly opens his eyes while being hoisted away by Kabul.  His entire body aches from the prior electrocution, but he is at least stable and conscious.  You can't ask for much more than that.

[20:12] <Damia> And walking. She doesn't notice the others until Mao speaks up. "Oh hey." A glance at Mao. "Yeah, I thought sticking around was a bad idea." And more walking.

[21:52] <Damia> Corey's innocence is found completely amusing, and Damia manages to hold back another fit of laughter.
[21:53] <~TheBMW> The sky roars with thunder once more as a few vague forms fly back down into the forest from the fading stormy sky.  The south is starting to look nice and sunny at this point, and there's even a beautiful partial rainbow in the distance.
[21:55] <Damia> Cherrim acts like a hat, absorbing the water. It's no longer dancing, but it's certainly relaxing. Soon, they'll be at the RAINBOW--a small fit of laughter is completely under wraps.

[22:32] <~TheBMW> The group comes to a small clearing in the forest, and it's very obvious that it's not even slightly natural.  Every inch of ground is completely charred, as are the surrounding trees.  In the dead center of the burned mess is a small metal ball covered in strange, shiny plates and other small gizmos.  It's probably about the size of a soccor ball, very odd indeed.

[22:37] <~TheBMW> As Kabul tries to pick the object up, it gives him a light shock, and he drops it reflexively.  The metallic ball then begins to hum softly, staying on the ground.

[22:39] <~TheBMW> However, its new position on the ground reveals something else: a small port opening is now exposed, and a small card of some sort appears to be inside it.

[22:39] <~TheBMW> With some care, it may be able to be extracted without touching the orb itself.
[22:40] <~TheBMW> Iris has no difficulty in removing the card.

[22:41] <~TheBMW> It's a small computer card of some sort, colored dull black outside of the gold wiring on it.  It seems that this is also the source of the humming, as the sound is MUCH more audible to her as she holds it.

[22:41] <~TheBMW> There doesn't seem to be anything obvious to do with it.  Maybe you should hold onto it?
06[22:41] * Brusier_Mao wriggles a bit. <What happened?>

06[22:42] * Iris holds onto it, does something magical happen?..... no, prolly not. I guess it goes .... in her bag. After the sex talk, putting it in her pocket is just asking for comments
[22:43] <~TheBMW> The humming stops as the card is placed inside the bag, almost as if intentional.  Very odd indeed.
06[22:43] * Iris looks at the orb again to see if it gives any hints

[22:44] <~TheBMW> Iris discovers that it is a perfectly circular shape, except in the third dimension.  But... what are those called again?

[22:46] <~TheBMW> Nothing else seems to stick out about the strange orb, though Damia does figure out that the strange panels on it must be solar panels.  But the other gizmos... that's anyone's guess.
[22:47] <Damia> "Huh. If we could power it down, we'd be able to take it with us. It looks like those panels over there are solar panels, so if that's it's source, we could certainly leave it in the shade a while...but we don't really have time to waste, do we?"

01[22:49] <Corey> "Y'think maybe something could blow it into the shade or somethin' and we can pick it back later?"

[22:50] <~TheBMW> As the Castform starts to blow a stream of water at the ball, it once again sparks with electricity.  The currents surge through the water stream and straight into the floating raindrop.  Oww.

06[22:51] * Iris facepalms and pulls out a spare shirt, gives a shrug, and wraps it around the orb before trying to pick it up

[22:57] <~TheBMW> Now only mere minutes from the city, the party begins to take the home stretch.  Though the storm has passed, the sky is darkening as the sun is starting to set.  And though it may not be obvious yet, it's likely that tonight is going to be a long night.
