While the family's gone one day, armor pod falls and takes out half the apartment building along with most of her neighbors, to her, this is a chance to finally serve as part of an army, though she has to keep her family in mind all the while.

Her kids are kids.

They're stupidly excited their mom can play with them and is a armor pilot now (And that her legs are AWESOME robot legs). They want her to come to school with them or wonder if she has a "mount mode" so she can drive them to school in a hoverbike or something.

They'd probably explode with giddiness if they found out Caelan wants to keep her family safe by securing armors for each of them.

Melina is a 'funny child' (her sense of humor and timing's as good as a 9 year old's can be) and even being so young, she's already showing signs she'll be her mom's physical antithesis with her super girly physiqye and fondness for pink, MLP, Monster high, and her dad's old CCS DVDs.

Marcus is obsessed with suit users and is super excited to be around them all the time (since the family's likely moved to the Armor Corps New Zealand base) and practically humps the leg of any suit user/pilot he meets and wants to be a "maximum cool" too. Caelan warns that if anyone does give her son a suit before she can to make sure he does so under strict aesthetic guidelines because he keeps drawing black and red flaming knights with spikes everywhere.

Remember, these are fucking kids so of course their tastes are pleb tier.
