>>5517517 >>5518552 >>5518680 >>5519280 I'm sorry I've disappointed you all. You're right that I haven't created anything especially noteworthy here, though I'd like to think it's better than most stuff. I am a little ashamed, though I really shouldn't be. I didn't write this to gain any credit or notoriety. I just wanted something like this to exist. I love exploring the unexplored possibilities this scenario presents, but if Growth Spurts already did it right, then the only reason for me to do differently would be in order to try and claim ownership of the idea as mine alone, enabling me to reject the effort of CarcinoGeneticist in helping my own inspiration. I think that's a sad thing about a lot of creative work today; a generation of relentless attack on imitation has left us thinking that if we don't hide the effects others have had on our creation, then we've somehow wronged them. We work so hard for no other reason than to make sure nobody can tell what our creations came from, then we add notes at the bottom revealing where our creations came from. If I took this same story and instead had Apple Bloom turn into a boy from a misbrewed potion and Discord's sealed in stone, and so removed all references to CarcinioGeneticist's work, I just don't see how that would be a service to him instead of a disservice. You're right I should put a link in the description, though. I can't believe I forgot that. That would help keep people from being disappointed, especially with how verbose I write I'd hate to think I wasted anybody's time. Honestly I think most of the problem is I just take too long to get to the point that this story diverges from the original. How a story of three chapters turned into an introduction of 7 I still don't understand. On the subject of copy and paste, while I don't have any philosophical objections to people who do that as long as it's clear that they did, I did not, unfortunately, copy and paste anything. At all. Take what you will from that; I take it as evidence of my own insanity. I am using the same sort of plot line, though not exactly, and a lot of the events are similar, and really I'm flattered to be accused of copy and paste, but I did actually sit down and spend some hours carefully writing out this entire story in my own words. The only time I appear to have directly copied and pasted is a few specific and very lovely phrases, which I just ended up typing since they were only a few words long, and often used them in a different place than the original source entirely. Anyway, I hope both stories can exist, the original is faster paced, more aged up (yet still somehow inexperienced with estrus), more reliant on preestablished sexual slang (as I'm really leaning on the inexperienced angle), and describes a world where a stallion can ejaculate copious amounts, twice, in the span of minutes. Mine is more (obsessively) in depth, more world buildy, definite foalcon, more of a comedy, and describes a world where a stallion can ejaculate copious amounts uh, once in the ballpark of a day or so. I really do need to publish those chapters; poor Apple Bloom must be getting the blue balls from hell with them sitting off in the queue.
