Story of the Young Colt who stared into the Scarlet Eyes.

        Coat, the color of soft winter snow with the mark darker than the blackest night in the form of a lovely musical eighth note.

        Mane, a silky soft shimmering fusion of dark cyan and electric blue that brings to the mind the sweet scent of blueberries.

        Eyes, a glistening deep scarlet surrounding dark pupils that sparkle with a promise of a fun night. However, these are usually hidden by shiny glasses with purple lenses.

        When she starts to make music, you can feel it deep in your bones, and it vibrates your entire being with every drop of the bass and every blast of the beat. Her smile shines radiantly as she prepares to unleash a storm of electric beats and deep bass with an electrifying light show to boot. By the end, her entire body almost seems to shine due to the sweat that she accumulated through the night.

        The building's very foundation will tremble at the force of the bass and the music can be heard for miles around, a sure-fire sign that the infamous DJ "DJ Pon-3" is playing music that night.

        The members in the audience jump with joy and dance to the tune she plays all night and are crestfallen when it ends and they see her pack up to go home and prepare for the next day.

 

Alright, it will be a short story starring a young colt who is goaded by his friends to go to a night club because the infamous DJ Pon-3 will be playing that night. It will be told by the 2nd person POV.

 

 

 

Actual story:

        "Come on man!" says your old friend Skysweeper as he tries to push you out the door. "You never went to the clubs with us before and you need to get out more, at least once before you turn 22!"

        You push back with as much force as you can bring up but he proves too strong for you and you get shoved out the door of the house you two share before you can let out any words of protest.

        You turn around and say "Why do I need to come with you and the others? I was planning on sleeping today man. I also have work I need to do tomorrow. All I am going to be doing there is helping you pick up chicks."

He gives you a hard stare and says "Because that is all you do Cypher, you stay inside all the time and never go out except for you work, you need to let yourself relax some time and enjoy the night with friends! Besides, you aren't helping me pick up chicks, not when I have someone like Crystal."

        You roll your eyes as you remember Crystal, You don't like her very much and she never really liked you. You didn't like her because you always thought she was too materialistic about things and never really appreciated anything unless it shined like the sun and cost at least 100 bits. She didn't like you because you have made it clear you didn't like her by glaring at her whenever she walked into your house whenever she came by to visit Skysweeper.

        "Yeah, you have the absolute best of relationships with her." You say sarcastically.

        He puffs himself up and beams with pride as the sarcasm goes right over his head and says "Yes I do."

        You look to the sky and sigh as you realize arguing with him to try to stay home would be complete idiocy so you just look at him again and say "Alright, who is all going again?"

        He smiles a huge grin and says "Alright! I finally got you to go with me!" He stands and looks triumphantly at the heavens for a couple seconds before you clear your throat to try and see if he will notice and answer your question. When you do it he looks back at you and says "Oh yeah, it will be you, me, Crystal, Berry Punch, and the spa sisters."

        You groan as you realize that you were trapped with 3 ponies you didn't like very much for the rest of the night. You didn't like the spa sisters because they had a tendency to touch people without their permission and you have a policy about personal space. Just touching you can cause you hair to stand on end and put you on edge.

        You accept your fate for a possibly terrible evening and with a sigh say "Alright, let's go" before walking off in one direction.

        You get about five feet before your friend calls out to you "Dude, you are going to wrong way, the club is this way."

        You turn and see him pointing to a rather large building that has many flashing lights that is not that far away. You are rather curious how you never noticed it before though. Then again, you realize, you don't go out that much so it isn't that much of a surprise. You say "Right, I knew that" before you join your friend as you two walk over to the large building  and on your way there, you meet up with the others and  try to stay as far away as possible as you can from Crystal and the spa ponies, so you end up walking next to Berry, who you see already has a drink with her.

        You raise your brow at her and say "Isn't it a bit early for drinking?"

        She turns to you and says with a frown "No, you can drink at any time of the day. I just held off on drinking until now so that I can actually get to the party on time."

        You shrug and continue along your way and before you know it, you are in line to get in the club. You stand in line and listen to Sky and Crystal gossip and try to scoot as far away from the spa ponies as you can as you notice them eyeing you.

        You finally reach the front of the line and sky walks up to the bouncer and says "Sky, I should be on the guest list for four excluding myself"

        The large white burly pegasus, who you think took steriods or something because he had the tiniest wings you ever saw, looks at the list and shouts "YEAH! You guys are on the list! Go on in."

        You and your group follow Sky through the door and instantly you are blinded by rapid flashing lights and almost deafened by the loud music. As soon as you get over that you are hit by the extreme stench of sweat and alchohol and you suddenly get the feeling like you shouldn't be here so you try and turn around.

However, the door slams shut just as you had walked through the door and you realize you are trapped in here for the next celestia-knows-how-long.

        Your friends however, are seemingly unaffected to the atmosphere as they start jumping in rhythm to the song and smile and join the crowd as they cheer on the brown pegasus pony at the disks.

You then try to join in with everyone but quickly are overwhelmed by some of the people there so you try and stand back and listen to the music but then it suddenly feels like a sensory overload as it feels like the bass is punching you in the chest with every beat.

        You  try and sneak around and find some area as physically far away from the speakers as you can so you can rest your ears and eyes and actually will be able to work tomorrow morning.

        You walk around for maybe 15 minutes and you can't find a place to sit, you do, however, find berry punch at the bar drinking shots, you see Sky with some girls who aren't Crystal, and Crystal with some guys who aren't Sky. "Not really surprising" you mutter under your breath as you pass by Crystal. You don't see the Spa ponies anywhere. You are kinda happy that you don't and hope you don't see them for the rest of the night.

        As you are thinking that last thought you manage to find 3 empty tables in some forgotten corner of the building.

        "Thank Celestia!" you say as you go and take a seat on one of the chairs there.

        While you are there you view the crowd and have no idea how anyone could be in those crowds. It has to be hotter than the sun in there and uncomfortable to boot, seeing as you have next to no elbow room. Yet, despite those facts, those ponies are somehow jumping around and dancing to the music.

        You sigh and grab one of the other chairs and put it next to yours and use it to lie down for a bit.

        You close your eyes suddenly realize that the vibrations from the bass were actually vibrating the chair, creating a perfect environment to sleep and you feel yourself drifting off to sleep.

        Just before you fall asleep you feel someone shake you and hear them say "Hey, how can you sleep while there is partying to be done."

        You groan and sleepily try to shoo them away with one hoof while saying "Please go away, I am trying to sleep.". You hear the person who you think is female let out a grunt and you feel tingly all over your body and before you can do anything you feel yourself raise up in the air. You began to flail wildly while thinking of how much you dislike the lucky unicorns for having such a nice ability like magic.

        "Put me down!" you say.

        You hear a small chuckle along with her saying "If you say so.~" in a sing-song voice before you feel yourself drop and hit the floor a bit harder than you would have liked.

        You manage to get to your hooves while you rub your side that hit the ground and turn to see whoever bothered you and you are met with a pony with large purple shades less than 3 inches away from your face and it causes you to jump back in surprise.

        The then get a better view of the pony in front of you, it is a mare with multi-colored blue hair in front of you with what seems to be a white coat and you see that their cutie mark is a pair of eighth notes joined together.

        The mare laughs a bit before saying "You shouldn't fall asleep, the best part is about to begin!"

        "Well, the best part for me was my sleep so I would have to say the best part just ended." you say irritably.

        You manage to get a few giggles from her with that statement and it takes a few moments before she responds with "Then I guess you haven't been here before and you don't know what today's special event is."

        You stand for a minutes and think thoughtfully before responding with "One of my friends said that this apparently awesome DJ was supposed to be here. I think her name was like 'DJ Pong-D' or something. I don't remember all that well."

        She stares at you for a second before bursting out with laughter. It takes her a solid 20 seconds before she can actually say a complete sentence "Oh Celestia, that is the most hilarious  thing I heard in a while. Ah... No, it isn't 'Pong-D,' it is 'Pon-3.' I am a bit curious how you mixed those up. Anyways, I gotta go now, see ya later."

        You see her go past you torwards a door labeled "Backstage access."

        You turn toward her and say "I do believe you are going the wrong way, that is towards the backstage! If you are leaving, the door is that way!" You say as you point towards the direction you think the door is in.

She turns to you with a knowing smile and removes the pair of purple shades while saying "I know, I didn't tell you who I am did I? My name is Vinyl, but most people know me as DJ Pon-3."

        With that last statement she looks you right in the face with the reddest eyes you have ever seen and sit there dumbfounded as she heads through the door and leaving you with a surprised look on your face.

        You stare at the door that the now revealed DJ walked through for a couple of seconds before turning away and simply saying "Wow."

        You then look around and see that more and more people are swarming in and the chances of you getting out is next to none. So you walk back to the table you sat at before and begin to think about the encounter you just had.

        'Was it really necessary for her to pick you up and drop you?' you wonder. 'She could have just woke you up regularly, like a normal pony, and not completely destroy your would-be nap.'

        You sigh and look up to see the two spa ponies heading your way.

        "Fantastic," you say under your breath "Just the people I wanted to meet."

        They walk up to you and sit down on the chairs next to yours, effectively boxing you in.

        While you are considering how you could escape them the pink one, who you thinks name is Aloe, you always mix them up, suddenly says "Hi there Cypher, we were watching you for the past while."

        You stop for a second and think to yourself that she couldn't have made that sound more creepy if she tried.

        Her twin, lotus, speaks up and says "Yes we were, we saw you sleeping in the corner here."

        Suddenly you stiffen as you feel a hoof touch your shoulder and hear Aloe say "Yes, you must have been extremely uncomfortable, look, your shoulders are already tense."

        "Yes, shall we... give you a massage?" said Lotus who suddenly was alot closer than you remember. "Don't worry," She said "~It'll be free.~" By the end of that sentence she was whispering it into your ear.

By this time you realized that you may just be fucked in more ways than one.

        As luck would have it, you see Berry Punch, who is somehow already completely drunk, stumble on over, see you three, and slur out "What are you guys doing? You guys having fun without me? Naw, you guys wouldn't do that."

        When Berry punch had stumbled over the two spa ponies suddenly let go of you to face Berry and you took that opportunity and said "Well, I better go check up on Sky to see if he is still alive, So.... See ya." You stand up out of your chair and quickly trot away from the table, not before seeing the glares that Aloe and Lotus gave Berry but Berry didn't notice because she was more interested in the drink in her hoof.

        You sigh as you walk around. You suddenly realize you have to go so you head to the bathroom and when you open the door all you see are people taking various drugs.

        You instantly do a 180 and walk right out and see Sky heading your way.

        "Whats up man?" He says as soon as he gets close.

        "Drugs, lots and lots of drugs." you say matter-of-factly with a deadpan expression. As you look back over you shoulder at the bathroom behind you.

        "I'm sorry, what did you say!" He shouts as the bass suddenly dropped and the air is suddenly filled with shouts of joy.

        "NOTHING!" you shout in response.

        "Alright man! Hey man, you should come get one of these fine ladies! I think you would like some of them." He shouts as he turns and gestures towards a couple mares who were sitting at the bar. They notice and wave at you and him and you see him wave back.

        "Sorry man, you know I am not too interested in a relationship at the moment." you say while shaking your head.

        He smiles and with a pat on your back he says "It's alright man! That is your choice!" He then walks back to the mares and you see a few of them send a sad look your way.

        "Damn, that always makes me feel guilty when he acts like that."
