  28. Really tough call. Mubarak has an ego bigger than Cowboy's Stadium and has
  29. long ago disassociated from the man-on-the-street. (Remind me to tell you
  30. some horror stories of working with the service there and the way the
  31. treated the citizenry). He's also not one to rule by committee, so there's
  32. probably little chance anyone's getting through to him with logic. Would
  33. also not surprise me if he's actually a little scared. Where exactly would
  34. he go...and what would he do if he leaves office this way? Is a date with
  35. the International Court in his future on human rights charges...like so
  36. many modern dictators? He can't be feeling too confident with this
  37. administration covering his ass if the Egyptian populace starts screaming
  38. for an accounting of past sins.

  42. The real kicker in all this is that the only reason we don't have a 9/11
  43. type incident happening every week in this country is because of dictators
  44. like Mubarak. He's kept his boot on the throat of the Brotherhood and
  45. every other radical Islamic group for some time now. Yes, he has probably
  46. thrown many people in prison for nothing more than being in the wrong
  47. place at the wrong time. But he's been one of our staunchest allies in the
